From the initial enquiry, choice of fabric and advice, pick up and delivery back I have no hesitation in recommending SWUpholstery.
So pleased with the result of having my chair reupholstered. I’ve had this chair for a number of years and was in need of repair after a lot of use by myself and 4 grandchildren!
The high standard of workmanship has given my favourite chair a new lease of life and I am so grateful I trusted SWUpholstery.
Thankyou to Abbie and Jacob for excellent information/customer service and also big thankyou to the delivery men who were very helpful with collection and delivery.

Sadly SW Upholstery took far longer to re-upholster our chair than anticipated - it left us at the end of February and only came home last week. Although Abbie cheerfully responded each week to my chasing emails we hadn't been told that the fabric was not there when the chair was collected. As its a chair for a person with a disability the delay was unfortunate to say the least. It looks great but the inconvenience was considerable - which was a shame

Very professional from the start. Our large sofa was finished beautifully, and the process was managed by very nice people to deal with.

SW Upholstery transformed our 25 year old sofa bed by making new loose covers.
It was a solid piece of furniture and now fresh for 2024 in green velvet.
Abbie was very helpful and answered any questions at any time of day.
She sent out loads of fabric samples initially and we are really pleased with our ‘new’ sofa.
The delivery guys were friendly and took immense care.

Our finished footstool lived up to the high reputation of SW Upholstery.I would use them again and therefore recommend them.
The choice of fabrics at their showrooms is endless and the match with our existing furniture was perfect.
The only reason for not giving five stars was on account of the time taken over and above the predicted period given and while this was in part the delay in obtaining the fabric, nobody bothered to keep us informed.

Whole process went smoothly from start to finish.
Items collected and returned speedily.
Bench and chairs look like new.
Choice of upholstery material made easy and samples sent to me.

South West Upholstery recently re-varnished and upholstered an Ercol rocking chair that belonged to my late mother. I was slightly hesitant leaving the chair with "strangers", because of the emotional attachment. I need not have worried! The staff were very helpful and efficient (especially Abbie) from the time I requested fabric swatches to me collecting the chair. I am so pleased with the final result! It looks beautiful. I would have no hesitation in using this company again.

Great experience from start to finish! Easy and quick to obtain quotes, and more competitive to comparable quotes. Arranges a staggered drop pick up and drop off to suit my needs. Will definitely use again.

SW Upholstery reupholstered an armchair that my husband had inherited from his granny and had sentimental value. The quality of the upholstery and the choice of materials is excellent. The service is also extremely good and very efficient. The chair was collected and was back with us within 3 weeks and we are so happy with it! They are also able to send you swatches of materials.

We requested a quote in February 2023 to provide some new foam cushions for vintage Parker Knoll chairs. We sent measurements, but had to take a sample chair to SWU for the original cushions to be measured. After several months and much chasing, cushions were sent which were far too big. The General Manager Abbie took over organising the order - she was very helpful and SWU picked up the sample chair and outsize cushions at their expense, then remade the 2 sets of cushions. These were delivered during the week before Christmas, and we are very pleased with them. Unfortunately the whole process had taken many months and many phone calls and emails, but was eventually resolved amicably.

Today I went into HSL chairs in Cheltenham to buy a new chair for my room this is the second time the family has used the company as the staff and quality of service is second to none , delt with Pauline again as we did last time her product nolage is very good and she is so helpful and not pushy , I would recommend the company to anyone looking to buy new chairs , can't wait for my new chair to come from Norway

They were so helpful with advice in choosing the fabric to recover my dining chairs. Collection happened when they said it would. The work was carried out swiftly and efficiently and they were delivered back sooner than I had hoped for. The chairs look fantastic. The staff were friendly, open, and approachable. Really pleased with the experience

Delighted with the re-covering of the cushions for my aged and much loved Parker Knoll rocking chair. The fabric is a lovely quality and the upholstery work is great. It should last for a good few years. Excellent communication via email and phone from Abbie Ball with advice and to arrange collection and delivery. A great company to work with. I will definitely recommend and I will be using them again.

I can’t fault my customer experience at South West Upholstery. From the super prompt and considerate admin team, the home collection process, the professional advice and finally the finished product - all of it excellent. Am very, very pleased with my armchair which has been wonderfully revived. Thanks to all, I would wholeheartedly recommend their service.

A very big thank you to Abbie and all involved in making our leather settees like new again, (re covering the cushions and replacing the webbing). We would highly recommend and would definitely use South West Upholstery again.
