I've been using Sync for cloud storage for years and I couldn't be happier!

I've been using Sync.com for the past 7 years and have been thoroughly happy with all aspects of the experience. Syncing to my various devices is extremely fast. The secure, encrypted portals I use for my colleagues to upload and download documents work seamlessly. And knowing that Sync.com is a Canadian company that stores my data on servers in Canada is a huge plus.

Sync is slow to sync, clunky and not always intuitive. I use it as it is reliable, mostly (the Mac resident icon is not always responsive) accessible, and not massively expensive.

Been a HAPPY customer/user for 10+ years. Handles Android, MacOSX, MS-Windows clients. EASY TO USE!!

I have used Sync for almost 10 years (since 2017), both personally as an alternative to Dropbox and for a non-profit organization in Canada.
I like it because it is inexpensive, easy to use, and has its servers located in Canada.

Sync.com provides incredible service! I have been using the service for over 10 years without a glitch. The service is always up and fast.. and ALL CANADIAN!! Hurray! Keep up the great service.

Works pretty fine

I work with big files for a while and sync was the best experience with unlimited drives i've ever had.

I never lost a file using it and never get troubles sharing links. Works pretty well

CANCELED MY SUBSCRIPTION. I HAVE SCREENSHOTS THAT SHOW I CANCELLED AND THEY HAVE TAKEN THE FULL YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION ANYWAY. REPORTED THEM FOR FRAUD AND MY BANK HAVE CONFIRMED THEY WILL ENSURE A CHARGEBACK AS IT IS CLEAR THEY HAVE TAKEN FUNDS WITHOUT MY CONSENT

This app is awful. Doesn’t sync properly between devices and even lose files. This has been reported y hundreds of users and they have done nothing to fix it.

They have taken money without my consent and am reporting them from fraud.
Do no use or trust this company!!

Sync.com is simple, reliable, and very secure. File uploads are fast, sharing is easy, and I like the privacy features. Definitely recommend.

We used with a group of 10 students (12 of us in all) where we were working together on confidential information.

We did seem to have one or two issues at first with files not being synced between browsers - though that might have been due to a slow internet connection.

Anyway, these issues dissappeared, and we found it a great tool to use for collaborating together.

The management tools are easy to use, and we appreciate the level of security.

Also everything seems to be very extensively versioned - so for example when one student thought he had lost his work, we were able to find a saved version which contained the work.

It's one of the best cloud around. Infinite space is a bless. Too bad there isn't a proper searching app for the stored files!

I have used sync.com for cloud storage since 2016. The service is excellent. The desktop app works seamlessly, syncing files between three devices and the cloud storage server. Security is strong, with all files encrypted, and only you the user have access to them. The version history is very helpful on occasions when you need to roll back to an earlier version of a document, and sync.com have kindly honored the fee for the plan when I joined in 2016, even though costs have increased over time and that plan no longer exists. When I have had to contact support to report an issue or a bug (only 2 or 3 times over 10 years), their response has been prompt, professional, and highly effective in resolving the issue or releasing a new version of the app. Invariably, the app just works quietly in the background, syncing files to the cloud and giving peace of mind in case a digital disaster occurs. There are also many granular options in the online portal to share files with e.g. the ability to set a file share for X downloads or for the download access to expire on X date.

I would absolutely recommend sync.com for all the reasons above.

Very pleased with service, storage and app on to go. I’ll keep my data with sync and I hope titration my iCloud apple data to sync as well.

I have been using Sync for years for personal use. I use this between my Windows desktop and Linux laptop so when I am away on vacation I have access to all my files. When I installed Fedora on my laptop I found there wasn't a desktop app. Now i have to manually upload my files to sync.
I would give it 5 stars if it had a Linux desktop app.
