I love this new Baba tenor m.p.! I prefer a dark sound in my music and the Baba delivers that with a smaller chamber then traditional dark mouthpieces which allows me more control thru the song. Thanks SYOS!

As I’ve stated elsewhere, the SYOS Spark 8 tenor is perfect. It plays very similarly to my metal mouthpiece costing more than twice as much. It looks beautiful and plays very easily and is easy to maintain. Congrats to the SYOS team! I’m doubtful that I’ll ever purchase another metal mouthpiece for any of my saxes.

An easy transaction from selection through delivery. I felt surprise at how natural this mouthpiece felt and sounded straight out of the bag. Looks cool and works well.

Bonjour. Le site est visuellement très agréable à aborder. Un petit bémol,toute fois, concernant le processus de ''construction'' du bec qui semble au premier abord offrir plusieurs ''portes'' d'entrée qui perturbe un peu.Sinon rien à reprocher à votre site.

I am by no means an experienced sax player, so cannot comment on the fine details of the sound produced by my Syos. However I love the lively colors, and it did improve my overall sound compared to a more generic mouthpiece I had. Now its much easier to play. And keep a good sound.
Delivery was quick, no delays and product arrived well packed.

Utilisant un Vandoren TL5 je cherchais un bec plus dark me permettant de faire des pianissimos dans le registre grave (en dessous du sol médium) plus facilement. J'ai utilisé le Quiz en ligne pour faire mon choix et j'ai été orienté sur ce Smoky en ouverture 5. Alors il n'est pas contestable que ce bec permet une émission facile mais le son avec mes anciennes anches régulièrement utilisées sur le TL5 était très vilain dès qu'on sortait du grave. Après de très nombreux essais, j'ai fini par comprendre que ce bec nécessitait des anches plus fortes. En effet plus je prend une anche forte plus le son aigrelet disparait. Je viens de commander des Rigotti 3,5 Medium en espérant que c'est la force qui lui convient. Si c'est le cas, je crois que ce bec me donnera entière satisfaction car dans le grave il est génial. Dommage que sur le site il n'y ait pas une petite info sur cette caractéristique qui m'aurait fait gagner du temps et économiser deux forces d'anches trop faibles commandées inutilement. Mais au final je recommande.

Pour mes débuts au saxophone baryton (sur un Yanagisawa B800 de 1986) j'ai demandé à SYOS de me conseiller, sachant que mes références sont le rythm'n blues, la soul et le funk, des Tower of Power à Leo P en passant par JB et les Blues Brothers... Déjà possesseur de becs SYOS ténor et alto, le tourner vers SYOS m'est apparu évident. Et bien je ne suis pas déçu ! Ce bec (ouverture 8 avec anche Légère Américan Cut 2,25) est d'une facilité déconcertante sur tout l'instrument, y compris dans le siraigus ! Son brillant et puissant évidemment, avec une rondeur magnifique dans les graves et des aigus bien rock... J'adore ! Pour le moment je suis fan !

I am not a professional musician, but a friend who is a pro introduced me to Syos. I bought the Nick Brown Signature B-flat clarinet mouthpiece and was instantly crazy about it. My first one met with a tragic accident. I immediately ordered another one without considering anything else. I play in my church orchestra, and it gives me a clean, clear tone. Thank you, Nick Brown and Syos!

I’ve been playing the Syos Smoky Original 5 mouthpiece for about 7 weeks. I had been using the Yamaha 4C or Selmer S-80 C* with my Yamaha YAS480 that arrived in early February this year. With the Syos Original, my alto immediately became easier to play and sounds great! It’s well worth checking them out.

This is actually a review for a tarogato mouthpiece Syos made for me. As one might imagine, tarogato mouthpieces are not easy to come by. My tarogato came with a couple, which were okay, but I was interested in getting one custom made to get the kind of response I wanted. Madeline did an excellent job of creating a piece to my specifications (1.52 mm tip opening, high baffle, medium chamber), which proved to be fantastic. This is just what I was hoping for, and it has become my primary tarogato mouthpiece. Thank you, Syos!

Have bought a few mouthpieces from Syos, but recently I got a Gabi Rose Tenor mpc with a rollover baffle. Oh my gosh I love this mouthpiece. Took me a couple of weeks to find reeds I was happy with (the Fibracells I had been using were a bit buzzy, but D'Addario Select Jazz seem to suit it just fine) and now I just love it. Can go from a whisper to a roar and the altissimo just jumps out. Very happy :)

Great communication and customer service. The mouth piece I ordered is amazing, working so well with my saxophone. So smooth. I get so many compliments on the sound.

Je suis très content de ce bec qui produit le son doux et mat recherché. De plus, il élargit la palette dynamique de l'instrument, facilitant l'émission notamment dans le registre pianissimo souvent employé quand je joue des ballades. Accessoirement, combiné à la sourdine Saxmute et l'anche Légère "french cut", il est facile de rester dans une faible pression acoustique quand je veux travailler sans déranger les voisins... Ce qui donne à ce bec un intérêt supplémentaire pour l'étude.
