My doctor is knowledgeable, compassionate and supportive. She makes the experience comfortable and instills confidence in my treatment plan.

Horrible. Had to be switched around monthly to different providers that not only had not one thing in common with me ( age, gender etc.. ) but when it came to actual appointment day they constantly had issues and cancelled appointments no matter how often I tried to contact before hand to prevent. NOT ONLY NEVER GOT CARE BUT WAS UPSET AND STRESSED OUT WORSE.

I was charged 300 for a 2 minute phone call that the psychiatrist was late to and didn't even attempt to help me. The second I said I had ADHD I was told can't help you BYE. I asked for a referral and they sent me a link to suicide hotlines. Absolutely no help. Do not use if you are going to tell them you have ADHD.

Showed up on time for appointment, sat in virtual waiting room for 15 minutes then received text that said I wasn't there, called back and went through menu to get to a rep who told me to log off, then sent me a link to cell to fill out all questionnaires again, then received email that provider had cancelled appointment. This is incredibly callous and uncaring to patients trying to get treatment.

Would give 0 stars if possible. They upcharge you and then are impossible to contact. They won’t solve your problems. It is stated that it is “only 30 dollars”, but I was charged $700, they use CPT codes that don't reflect the care you were given. Don't use Talkiatry, it is a mistake.

Dr's don't understand patients. Let them tell a whole life story then decide they don't wanna help you. I tried a woman dr in fear of this and the woman was the first to dismiss... horrible Dr's.

I had a virtual appointment and after letting me talk about all of my trauma for the entire appointment, at the end of the session, the therapist tells me she would not be able to help me and I would have to see someone else in person. That's fine. I then received a bill for over $400, they had billed my insurance nearly $700. That's an obscene amount to charge. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, I would actively tell people not to use it.

DO NOT GO here. Their doctors quit/get fired all the time. I was trying to change doctors for 1.5 months. Not I'm stuck without a doctor and a medication that needs to be refilled. The side effects of not having a refill include potential death.

I would rate this 0 stars if I could. I was literally billed $700 for my first session where the psychiatrist refused to prescribe me medication bc she wasn’t comfortable doing it over telehealth, so the session was pointless bc I needed medication!! They dropped me as a patient when I tried to book another appointment. Worst platform ever! Private equity owned, I should have done my research.

What a joke. Turns out, if you actually need anything, you have to see a psychiatrist in-person. This is no different than those online minoxidil or glp-1 factories. I'm honestly disgusted. One question at the beginning of the appointment would have saved me an hour. Can't wait to see what my bill is.

five minutes into virtual visit we agreed it was a mis-match and hung up (Jan 8,2026).
Now they are billing me for $263.79 . Surprise.
I have gone over this with them and insist their version is correct. I am 82 years old. I have had many therapists good and bad. Talkiatry is the worst.

Dr. Mathew listens & makes suggestions & med changes as he sees fit. I appreciate his insight & ideas. He’s the best Psychiatrist I’ve had yet!

The physician is great however those care coordinators are the worse and need to be replaced to people who can understand and comprehend. They are horrible! Terrbile

Highly recommended. My doctor listened and acknowledged my fear of mental health medications (how much will it change my personality) and walked me through multiple options, including no meds. Happy to say that I'm feeling the best I have in years (took the medication route). Plenty of work left to do, but I see the light now!

At my first appointment there where technical issues with the sound. I couldn't hear the provider. He and I played around with it, each logging in and out with no resolution. He sent a message in chat that he would send another link to try. I waited 10 minutes then went back to work. Next thing I know I have a bill for $100- late cancelation. I called customer service, explaining what happened. They said they would dismiss the charge and now I'm being threatened with collections. Do not recommend

I only used "Talkiatry" as it was covered by insurance fully many years ago. The virtual appointment was a complete waste of time, took 10 minutes, the doctor did absolutely nothing and there was no feedback or recommendation. Now, 5 years later, "Talkiatry" is trying to collect a co-payment, which I did not have at the time, and starting billing me NOW. I will NEVER pay another dime for this service, as it did absolutely NOTHING! "Talkiatry" caused MORE stress than anything else. If I hear from them one more time, I will file multiple complaints against them.

We loved my daughter’s psychiatrist. But she gave her new meds when she was in crisis and then we had to take her to the ER yesterday for suicidal thoughts. Myself, the social workers, the psych department all tried to call and all we got was “sorry, she’s not in, we can leave a message she’ll get in a day or two!” NOT OK to not be able to reach your psychiatrist when you’re in a severe emergency! I emailed them and said all this, thank you but no thank you, the hospital is providing care and please cancel anything for the future.

I’m beyond livid. Maybe not all shrinks give out their cell phone numbers (mine does, and several therapists have and we never abuse it) but you MUST have a way to reach them.

I have been doing therapy with talkiatry for a couple of weeks now and I can’t express how much I love it. I love it because they’re so knowledgeable. They don’t judge their pleasant and I can talk with them in the comforts of my own home. Highly recommend them Bernadette my counselor is awesome and I’ve always had a hard time finding a counselor that I connect with and in two appointments I really feel I have a connection with her and so looking forward to so many more conversations and her

Horrible!! SCAM. They don’t answer the phone. And they are literally uninformed. Do not- at all choose this company.

I was scheduled and then canceled 4 times with one provider, only to find out they're no longer with Talkiatry.
