Tanyard Barn レビュー 

We where here on the 14/7/26 for 3 nights with our granddog Mags, this was our first time in a barn as our normal breaks away are in hotels or B&Bs where we are out all day walking and just use the room as a bolt hole to sleep. The Barn was an exception, that we wanted to come back to and enjoy the facilities fully as it was a home from home. The whole place was incredible, from the welcoming warmth and attention to detail from Helen and Dennis. Making sure there was everything needed for our stay, they went above and beyond. The field for Mags (our granddog) is a great addition where she totally enjoyed the space and being safe. We went walking in the early morning to beat the hot weather, which saw amazing views and then into Manor park to finish off the morning, which is also an amazing place with lots to see and do for all the family.
We headed back to the Barn to enjoy the hot tub and relax for the rest of the day. The area is lovely and quiet and the short walk down the lane to the pub (The queens Arms) where we enjoyed a drink and a meal and welcomed by the locals. We would highly recommend Tanyard Barn for a stay.

We booked a 5 night break with our dog and we couldn't have found a more perfect place. We always stay in cottages booked through the big companies but I have to say, the personal touch by the owners here just set this place apart.
From start to finish, communications and the service received was amazing. The little touches the owners give is so lovely, prosecco, bread, cakes and around the barn and the toiletries and extras, we've never had before.
The space you get here especially with a dog, is perfect. The enclosed dog field during the heatwave was a godsend and a real selling point.
The walks and views , need no selling! Just WOW. Old Glossop, Manor Park and the 3 local (dog friendly) pubs are all but a 10 minute walk away.
We're so impressed, already looking at a return visit.
Don't have any hesitation in booking, you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Tanyard Barn. The property was absolutely gorgeous, spotless, and finished to a very high standard. The host Helen was amazing, friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The surrounding area was beautiful and made for a perfect relaxing getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Thank you for having us!

Absolutely delighted with our stay at Tanyard Barn. The property is idyllic and perfectly located for both walks into the Peaks and strolls down into Old Glossop (and its pubs!). Everything we could have wanted or might have needed was catered for in the property. Helen was the perfect host. The best place we have stayed by a distance. Perfection.

We had an amazing two night stay at Tanyard Barn. The barn itself was clean, cosy and well furnished. We had little treats on arrival which added that special touch. Helen was great and really made us feel welcome. You didn’t want for anything. I would definitely recommend a visit - you will not be disappointed! 😊

Helen and Dennis have made such a beautiful place, came here for a break with the missus and dog. Dog absolutely loved the secure area to run around in, the walk just outside the gate was perfect. the cottage itself was in very good condition, the welcome presents were also a very a nice touch. Hot tub was kept in good condition every morning. Will be recommending to everyone! Thankyou

We had an amazing and super relaxing stay at Tanyard Barn, absolutely fabulous place in a beautiful and peaceful location
Helen and Dennis were very welcoming, helpful and friendly and added extra special touches with a bottle of bubbly on arrival and some easter treats including some treats for our dog. The hot tub was fabulous added luxury. The secure dog field was also a bonus, our dog loved it. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend it to any couple with dogs looking for the perfect relaxing break away.

Had a fabulous stay at Tanyard Barn, everything was top notch and then some. Arrived to a bottle of bubbly and a prepared hot tub. Lots of little touches all around the barn to add the feeling of luxury. The barn was extremely well equipped and spotless clean. A little bit of heaven in a wonderful setting. My Experience staying here could not of been better, the place itself is absolutely stunning and the location is amazing! The attention to detail from the hosts is second to none, so attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful! I cannot wait to be back and I 100000% recommend this place!

Had the most amazing stay for our 10th anniversary over the weekend, the barn is beautiful, the owners really care about giving you the best experience while your there, they even got us an anniversary balloon and there were homemade treats too, it's the little touches that make us special. Would highly recommend and we will be back

This was our second time visiting Tanyard Barn as we loved it so much the first time and it did not disappoint yet again. This place is very quickly becoming a home away from home for us and we will be visiting every year for as long as its available! We simply love it; the location, the peace, the walks, the nearby pubs, the private field for our dog, in a word it is serene. The place itself is always so warming and welcoming and beautifully hosted by Helen and team. The hot tub is always at perfect temperature and lovely and clean. We used the log burner for the first time on this visit and it was super easy to get started and kept the place warm all day/night with easy maintenance and no smell of smoke! Helen and team are super helpful, responsive and always on hand if you need anything or have a question. Our favourite UK staycation venue and we already cant wait to return in 2026.

We had a great stay at the barn. It was spotlessly clean and cosy and as it was our joint birthday getaway and when we arrived we were greeted with a banner and balloons which was a lovely touch.
There was also some fresh bread, muffins as well as some milk, orange juice and beers in the fridge and a bottle of bubbly too.
The weather was shocking but we still enjoyed a walk from the barn up into the hills and warmed up when we got back with a relax in the hot tub.
The log burner was great with the weather being bad so we just relaxed in the evening.
There is everything you need and the appliances are new modern and very clean.
The dogs loved it too and had the freedom to have a wander and they loved lying in front of the fire.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return and will recommend to others.

We’ve just returned from the most beautiful two night stay in this luxurious barn, and we’re already planning our next visit! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. The setting is incredibly tranquil, surrounded by countryside and lovely walks, it genuinely felt like we’d been away for a week.
The barn itself is stunning, with so many thoughtful touches, fresh bread, bubbles, and all the little extras that made it feel truly special. Everything was spotless, cosy, and well-equipped.
A special shoutout for how dog-friendly the stay was. Our dog Charlie felt like a true VIP, and it meant the world to us knowing he was not only welcome but genuinely catered for. It made the stay even more relaxing.
Thank you for creating such a magical place we’ve already started recommending it to friends and can’t wait to come back next year.
