Tanzania Odyssey レビュー 

My husband and I were looking to plan a vacation that allowed us to social distance and stay outdoors as much as possible while wearing masks when appropriate. After reading Marc's Trip Report, a safari in Tanzania landed on our radar and the planning began! The planning process was seamless from beginning to end with Sam taking the time to answer all of our questions via phone and email. Sam's subsequent COVID fact-finding trip to Tanzania alleviated our fears of the unknown during these strange times and gave us the confidence to confirm our trip.

Our trip was simply magical - talk about having the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti almost to yourself! We had the opportunity to chat with a few travel agents (who were also on COVID fact-finding trips) and they all emphasized the value in the exclusivity of the camps, game vehicles, and parks at this moment. It was truly the breath of fresh air that we needed to rest and recharge.

This is our second safari with Africa Odyssey and each time they exceed our expectations. Thank you for a trip of a lifetime - it still seems like a dream!

Trip was just excellent! Amazing viewing with top guiding and super rooms. Namiri Plains is wonderfully appointed.
We had one crossing of circa 5000 wildebeest. Only 5 trucks instead of 105!! Saw Leopard every day in Sayari.
At Namiri the Cheetah were excellent 5 in total and the Lions were magnificent 2 prides - one with about 17/18 Cubs - both with 2 males in great condition. Another magnificent pair of males was close looking for food and there is not much there for them so who knows what happened this week Landscapes were just breathtaking.

Two camps Namiri Plains and Sarayi in Sarengeti were amazing, service, food game drives, guides were just excellent. All the stuff was so kind and helpful, we felt so welcome and we are so grateful that we were able to travel intros strange times.

Trip was excellentorganised by Odyssey agency, from begging till the end, no complication at all. We will go back from sure.

George and the staff at Tanzania Odyssey were extremely helpful, providing us with a number of options and price ranges for us to chose from when planning our visit to Ruaha National Park. We exchanged a number of emails with a lot of questions and each time we received well researched and professional answers with all the information we could have hoped for. The information provided for easy transit to and from Tanzania and Ruaha Park was invaluable. We also really appreciated the cultural aspects provided to us so that we were prepared for and respectful of the customs of the local people. I would highly recommend Tanzania Odyssey if you are thinking of a Safari experience in Tanzania.

Tanzania Odyssey organised our safari to the Serengeti at relatively short notice - just 8 weeks or so before departure. All travel arrangements went like clockwork - and the camps we stayed in were first class. All in all a great safari - we would certainly use Odyssey again & we recommend the company for its efficiency & knowledge.

Tanzania Odyssey, especially Dave, were amazing to work with. I chose them based on reviews and am so happy I did. Dave helped with the planning of our trip from our first contact. All the info he gave me was spot on and accurate. He was honest but did not try to sell me one way or another. The trip went smoothly and was amazing. In the future, when I need services that they offer I will absolutely use Tanzania Odyssey again!!!

The care and attention that went into creating our holiday was exceptional. George dealt with us from start to finish, and created a holiday we will long remember. He was available by email and happy to take even the most mundane of calls from me, double checking the small details of packing, money etc...He came up with the initial itinerary, which we made a couple of changes to; he then advised us of a change that had to be made due to a hotel being closed, but had already found an alternative. He was then very patient with us as we had issues with our flights (cancelled dates needing rearranging), and while we attempted to make contact with a Tanzanian school to visit, which also affected where we would be staying.
The itinerary created was superb, the company he chose to take us on safari (Duma Explorer) excellent. Our guide, Wilson, was second to none, with his knowledge and experience as a guide.
At the advice of Wilson, we asked Tanzania Odyssey to see if we could change a destination flight (on the same route as our original), and we did this during our holiday. At this point George was on holiday himself, but another member of the team immediately picked up my email and dealt with it efficiently.
Cannot fault the team or George, and it was lovely to have a chat with him, once we were home, about the holiday (feedback etc..) and share with him our experiences, which he was genuinely interested in.
I would definitely book with Odyssey Travels again!

Drivers were excellent and paid attention to every little detail. The Ndutu camp was fab. The lodges were great. The itinerary & transfers all worked well. Saw lots of animals close up in lush surroundings. Would suggest that Tanzania is a must on anyone’s destination list. Climate in December was perfect and best of all there were no mosquitoes.

Very smooth process - simple to communicate, pay and the trip ran flawlessly. We received great advice on how to structure our trip and would definitely recommend for a safari!

We started planning our trip two months in advance. When tour operators like And Beyond told us everything was booked and asked us if we would prefer to go to South Africa, Kitty Chrisp helped us plan a trip of a lifetime. She was very helpful and knowledgable, and planned a perfect itinerary for us so effectively! Thank you Kitty.

Dave Fuller at Tanzania Odyssey designed the perfect adventure for game drives in Tanzania. He listened to our basic requests, finding places that wouldn't put rose petals on our pillows. We stayed in tented camps, with just the right amount of time in our favorite ones: Kirurumu Camp in the Serengeti and both Mwagusi and Mdonya Camps in Ruaha. Each time, we were met by the game guides, who were simply exceptional: Muro, Emanuel, Jumanne and Imane. Walking to our tent after dinner, guided by Maasai, was memorable. You might ask them to show you their rungu, a weapon carved from ebony they use against lions.

I called and explained that I was planning a lifetime dream holiday to Tanzania to go on a safari . After discussing dates , budget and expectations we agreed on a itinerary visiting 2 camps in the less visited Southern circuit and then finishing up with a few days relaxing on Zanzibar . Planning was done almost a year in advance and we had lots of time to wait . Transferring deposits and final payment were smooth and after getting closer to departure I was sent all my confirmed documents and final itinerary . I was also sent a link to the Vamoos App , where they had preloaded tons of info on my trip and copies of all documents . From the moment I cleared customs in Dar es Salaam until being dropped off for my return trip to Canada , I was always well taken care of. Escorts and drivers were all on time and spoke English well . My itinerary had been well organized and went off without a hitch . I would not hesitated to reccmmend Tanzania Odyssey to anyone .

A wonderful, utterly captivating adventure. Tanzania Odyssey were superb throughout the whole process from initial discussions about what we as a family were looking for, suggestions and recommendations.
