I know that from previous experience the food is excellent but the service is terrible

Bar staff inattentive chatting and not showing any interest in taking Google or drink orders

I walked out after 10 minutes of being ignored

It’s a shame because the food is great but the service really needs a kick in the pants

Tap and Tandoor Southampton is a lovely place to eat. The food is served hot and tastes delicious. The staff are efficient and friendly. Special thanks to Hassain who always greets me with a smile and delivers excellent service.

At Southampton staff have changed, service is poor, food portion reduced and quality reduced.
Had the worst pint of Clwb ever (it was brown!), and was informed it was the right drink despite showing them a picture of the golden yellow it should be.
Shame as when opened was lovely and the staff were lovely.

We've had several great meals at the Southampton restaurant. Food has always been hot, tasty, and inviting. The staff have also been friendly and enthusiastic.

Some nights until midnight, the staff hang outside the front door being loud and disruptive to people who are trying to sleep that live in residential apartments above and opposite!
This occurs often and tonight was until 23:40 I had enough!
I walked outside and asked them shut up because residents are sleeping this time of night and they got abusive and swore which is highly unprofessional considering they said they were staff members there when I asked.
It took me to call the police and report them because they carried on being abusive towards me telling me to F off and then they got in 2x cars under the influence of alcohol and sped off.
No respect for women, no respect for the public, no respect for residents!
I will be reporting them and the venue to the council
Never would I step a foot in that place if you paid me!

The new Tap and Tandoor in Bournemouth is a great place to eat. The beer selection is excellent and the food was so good. Our two favourite dishes were the butter chicken curry and the tandoor king prawns, which were huge and succulent. Many thanks to Raj, the manager, for making us so very welcome. Will definitely return and recommend!
