Fair prices that are even better with an AMMO+ membership. Always shipped quickly and when the email says your has shipped it shipped...not just that the label was printed if you check the tracking number!

Targetsports is my newest option for my ammo needs. The prices esp with a membership is awesome. The free shipping it provides is a real benefit too. Order was as expected and quick delivery.

Disappointing handling of a damaged collectible tin

I have always had good experiences ordering from Target Sports USA, so I was surprised and disappointed by how they handled this issue.

I purchased a knife that came in a collectible tin, and the tin arrived damaged. I called customer service, explained what happened, and they pulled up my order. They told me they would email me a list of information to provide. I took the time to gather everything requested and sent it in.

About 12 minutes later, I received what appeared to be a generic response stating that they only accept returns or issue replacements if the actual ammunition cartridges are damaged. My purchase was a knife in a collectible tin—not ammunition.

Two things frustrated me. First, if their policy already ruled out any assistance, why wasn’t that explained during the initial call? Instead, I spent time gathering information only to receive a response that didn’t even address the product I purchased. Second, they offered no resolution, even though the collectible tin was part of the item.

The purchase wasn’t expensive, so this is more about the principle and how a customer’s concern is handled than the money. I called back, asked for the issue to be escalated, and requested a phone call rather than another email. That response is still pending, and I will update this review if they resolve the issue.

It’s easy to be satisfied with a company when orders go smoothly. How they handle a problem is what really shows the quality of their customer service.

It seems like a good company. I was able to find and test a different brand of .223 ammo.
I think the shipping process and timeline from order to delivery can be improved.

Wish their inventory on accessories and basically non-ammo products had better availability. Lots of out of stock items.
