Very good help from Carol Mendes at Bordr, putting together and submitting my tax return.

I've been working with Telmo, Carol, and the team at Taxbordr for a few months, and my only regret is not starting sooner. After dealing with several unreliable accountants, I found Telmo's services online. From our first interaction, it was clear that he knows his stuff and provides excellent advice. I especially appreciated how he took the time to understand my situation BEFORE suggesting a solution—something my previous accountants failed to do. I’ve now subscribed to Taxbordr’s services long-term, which allows me to reach out to their team for advice and questions anytime. They handle my taxes, and now I can focus on my business without the stress.

I would be at a massive loss without the guidance, expertise, and support of Taxbordr's team. Filing taxes can never be truly easy, especially when it comes to filing in two countries (Portugal and US) as this navigation can be very complex for the less-experienced. I had a difficult and extensive tax situation to handle and was searching for a tax advisor where I had no need to go to Lisbon several times or have constant meetings and calls, since my free time is very limited. Already 2 hours after reaching out over a chat function ( on a Sunday! ), Telmo answered me very friendly and professional and wanted to gather more information about the issue and already a few days later he presented me a draft of an invoice about the discussed amount and was ready to do his magic. Telmo and Carol were constantly working on my case I had the impression since they provided me permanent feedback and also I could see the first results very soon. After not even 2 months the majority of my requests were handled with a positive outcome. During this time I always had the feeling that both of them were eager to answer my questions and to find the best and not the fastest resolution if necessary. One process is still ongoing and I can see, that they are working hard on resolving this as well for good and never give up, just because it would be convinient. And the best thing, we handled everything via Email, I never had to worry about extensive meetings and calls and every contact was happening with utmost friendly politeness and professionalism. I am a foreigner in Portugal , I used to have bad experiences with lawyers here and some tax documents got messed up Bc my previous lawyer didn’t do anything .
