Superb experience on four occasions.
Isobel Fensome was absolutely excellent dealing with my late mother's probate and estate last year. Communications were excellent and probate was granted very quickly, with no fuss and lots of important knowledge that I would have struggled with if doing it alone as executor.
On the conveyancing side I have dealt with Jeremy Mitchell three times in recent years. Selling my mother's bungalow in 2020, our house purchase 2025/6 and the sale of our old house in May 2026. In each case Jeremy was totally professional and gave lots of solid and reassuring assistance. The first two transactions found him dealing with awkward solicitors but he persevered and got the transactions completed. The final sale was amazing - from Offer accepted to completion in under 8 weeks with no stress at all. Thank you!

Excellent communication
Both Sharon and Dawn's communication was excellent throughout our house buying process. They responded to our messages and queries promptly, provided clear explanations about anything we were unsure about, and acted with empathy and proficiency. We will definitely use Taylor Walton again in the future based on our experience.

An efficient and communicative service…
An efficient and communicative service from Taylor Walton dealing with the sale of my mother's house. All done with very little stress in a little under three months. As with all transactions of this nature these days, the hardest part was the identity and AML checks, but their system made it relatively painless.

Efficient, great communication and knowledgeable
I have had two dealings with Taylor Walton after the passing of my Grandfather. Firstly, the Grant of Probate. Christine was fantastic and supported me a great deal in order to process this as quickly and efficiently as possible. Secondly, Caroline and Grace who managed the sale of the house. Again, this was processed promptly and I was in regular communication throughout the sale.
I have some other matters that need to be dealt with and I have no hesitation in reaching out to Taylor Walton again.

Highly professional will-writing…
Highly professional will-writing service. Our needs were more complex than average, all dealt with efficiently and effectively. Resultant wills are heavy on legalese, and were not cheap, but that was the requirement, so not a complaint.

Moving house is Stressful, but Caroline and Team certainly eased that
I would have no hesitation in recommending Taylor Walton to anyone to act on your behalf in a house sale or purchase. We placed a deposit on a new build in September 2025, selling our house in Hitchin. However due to challenges further down our chain, the whole purchase nearly collapsed. Caroline, Grace and the team kept on top of this, pulling the whole process together and succeeding in getting this across the line in what was a very stressful situation. Her calm approach and sound advice was invaluable as we waded through this process for the first time in 30 years. Thank you Taylor Walton.

Outstanding legal services
I couldn’t rate my experience as a client with Taylor Walton more highly.
I would like to give particular commendation to Zoe in the Private Client Department and Tom in the Residential Property Department. The advice I received was underpinned by significant expertise, very considerate and always useful. They always responded promptly and worked incredibly diligently with outstanding professionalism and kept me well-informed throughout. Communication was always clear and reassuring which made the overall experience smooth, stress-free and a lot quicker than I had anticipated.

Wouldn’t move home without Taylor Walton

Great solicitor
We recently sold our house the sale of which turned out to be a long drawn out process. (Through no fault of Taylor Walton)
This taught us a lot about how devious some people can be. However the sale eventually went through and the only thing that kept my wife and I sane was the amazing service we got from our solicitor Samina Safar. We were always able to speak to her personally, if she were not available she always returned our call within a very short time. Her professionelism goes without saying and her report with us fantastic. Can only recommend her services. Many thanks Samina.
