I chose Thomas Boyd Whyte solicitors to…handle my late father’s estate/probate
I chose Thomas Boyd Whyte solicitors to handle my late fathers estate/probate as my family have used this firm since 1959.
Paul Olubiyi and Pam Peary were my caseworkers they were both very professional and efficient.
I had the added problem of sorting everything out from abroad which I found a daunting prospect. A death is always difficult but they made my life so much easier. Probate was achieved very quickly which enabled me to sell my fathers home which the firm also handled. They kept me well informed at every step. They were easy to contact, if I sent an email with a question or I needed clarification I received an answer almost immediately, this service I would say was invaluable.
Price structure was clear, a percentage price and no hidden costs or hourly rates.
I would thoroughly recommend them.

TBW saves the day
I have used TBW many times over the years for both sales and purchases, i always find them to be a very professional.
They are very thorough without wasting time and always very friendly when you contact them, even if its a little often.
Thanks to Abass, Alison and all the team for sorting out this purchase which would definitely have failed without their time and expertise.

I worked with Michael Ezimoah to draft my Will. Every aspect of dealing with TBW was excellent. Michael listened to my needs and provided a professional, but warm and friendly, service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michael and the private client team at TBW.

Fixed Fee Interview - A Worthwhile Investment
I had a Fixed Fee Interview with Wendy Baldock - Family Department.
I had explained upfront that I did not have the finances for a legal court case, so having the fixed fee interview as an option was welcomed; and at no time was I pressured into pursuing a legal case through the courts. Wendy did advise me of options I could follow up myself, which was appreciated.
I was asked to submit any documentation that I felt was relevant in advance, meaning that on the day no time was wasted. Wendy explained things clearly, in layman's terms, regarding areas of concern that I had after a divorce many years ago. I felt listened to, and was not rushed.
The Fixed Fee Interview enabled me to draw a line under issues I had been stewing over for a long time. (I felt good when I left!)

Home Visit for LPA by Michael Ezimoha
Michael Ezimoha visited my mother at home this morning and immediately put us both at ease about sorting Lasting Powers of Attourney. He came very well prepared and was efficient at getting clear information across to us and completing the paperwork. It was a pleasure to meet and deal with him.

Highly Recommend Wendy
Wendy is a very professional, experienced and knowledgeable solicitor. On a personal level she is very down to earth and kind. I felt comfortable with her very quickly as she is honest and reassuring and completely non judgemental. It seems like talking to a friend rather than a solicitor as her passion for helping people really shines through. She communicates clearly and promptly, keeps you updated, and explains everything in a way that makes you feel informed and supported throughout. I would highly recommend her.
