Really shady company

Really shady company. They sign you up to lessons that keep going until you stop them. No notice they charged your card again. The app is horrible intentionally to get more money. Near impossible to find how many lessons you took and have left. Ask them and they avoid telling you. Pro can’t tell you either as they seem willfully dumb. Won’t even refund one of their unknown charges. There’s no phone number to talk to a person. The app people say talk to the hand - their policy allows NO REFUNDS. Ever. I’m disputing it. It’s a scam. Find your own pro.

The plan you enrolled in included a free first lesson as part of a monthly subscription, which renews unless cancelled. We also send a confirmation email after purchase with full details on how to manage or cancel your subscription directly in the app.

While our policy does not allow refunds for processed payments, we always do our best to make these terms clear and transparent before checkout.

Golf Coach does not show up

Ordered a Golf Coach which does not show up and destroyed my entire birthday experience. I am fighting since one week for getting my money back. Teach.me Call center team not helpful with getting my money back - only messages playing for time

Do NOT use in NYC

Do NOT use in NYC. They will match you to whoever you pick at first just to make you pay, only to cancel on them and suggest other random coaches all magically more expensive and less ideal conditions (too far, different level and class style, etc.). Absolutely wasted a month doing back and forth with them. I wouldn’t recommend this service to nobody in NYC.

We always do our best to match students with coaches that fit their needs, and in cases where the first coach doesn’t work out, we try to find suitable alternatives. Any switch is always presented to the student for approval, so it’s ultimately the student’s decision whether to continue with a new coach or not.

Warning this is a scam

Warning this is a scam. Did one lesson and then was told they had "no locations" when I live in Austin and can easily go myself to any golf course. They said they paused my subscription but it still says l'm going to be charged on a certain date.
Reddit and other websites have scam reviews. There's not an obvious way to cancel. And Reddit user said even when they “cancelled” teachme still charged. Don't waste your time or money

Beware!

You can't write a review unless you click a star so this review has one more star than it should.

My son and I decided to take golf lessons together this past summer. We were very much looking to golfing together with friends and family. We signed up for four lessons. The instructor was good but did not have a home course so we had to move around to different courses to have our lessons.
We signed up for four lessons and unfortunately our instructor took ill and could not continue.
Now, four months later I find we not only were charged the full $315 for those three lessons but we were charged monthly for the next 4 months. We ended up paying $1575 for three golf lessons.
When I addressed this with TeachMeTo, they simply said reimbursements were not in their policy. They did stop the recurring charges after they billed me one more time after I explained the situation.
I am seeking legal help and you may see more from me across social media platforms. Please please be very wary of sharing any credit card or bank info with this company. They are much more concerned with their profit margin than your golf or pickleball lesson.

Great platform for lessons!

I recently started taking pickleball lessons with a coach through TeachMe.To, and it’s been a fantastic experience from start to finish. Scheduling was super easy using the TeachMe.To app; it guided me through everything clearly and let me find times that fit my schedule.

My coach (Josue) was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. The lessons have been fun and productive. The platform handles everything, from booking to payments, so I can focus entirely on learning.

I would highly recommend TeachMe.To to anyone looking to get better at pickleball or try it out for the first time!

TeachMe.to Golf Coach

I’m listed as a golf coach in Orange County, California, and have been with the TeachMe.to app for nearly a year now. I can say, without a doubt that they are committed to give excellent service. Additionally, their communication is great. If you’re looking for a coach in Pickleball, tennis, golf, surfing, etc.., TeachMe.to is a fantastic app to use!

Does EXACTLY what it claims - provided a way to see a whole lot of coaches and reviews. Picked one and everything is done right there through the app: scheduling. communications, and payment.

Important to understand that the free…

Important to understand that the free lesson comes with an automatic renewal for four lessons. Even though there is transparency regarding this and the ability to cancel before committing to the lessons, there actually is no way to cancel in advance of paying for the four lessons. Then there is a policy for no refunds following the payment for the additional lessons.

The free lesson you signed up for does come with an automatic renewal for a package of four lessons, and this information is shared both during checkout and in the confirmation email.

You always have the option to cancel anytime directly through the app, or reach out to us and we’re always happy to assist. If you didn’t wish to continue after the trial, cancelling before the renewal would have prevented the additional charge. While our policy states that renewals are non-refundable once processed, we’ve already cancelled your subscription, so no further charges will occur, and you still have full access to your lesson credits for the next 12 months.

We really value your feedback, and we’ll continue working on making the process clearer and smoother for our students.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. My son only gets two tennis lessons and apparently this implies a monthly subscription and for months they have charged me $210. They never told me it was a subscription.After many many calls and texts I was able to speak with a representative (she was very friendly), I have canceled the subscription but they tell me that they cannot refund my money.

They continued to charge me very expensive lessons without making it clear that it was a monthly charge, not as my lessons ran out. When I asked for a cancellation and refund they refused. Very unethical. Would not recommend.

Upon reviewing your account, you signed up for a subscription plan which includes a free first lesson and renews monthly, adding new lesson credits each billing cycle. This is explained during checkout and in the confirmation email, and customers can pause or cancel their subscription anytime directly in the app.

Per our policy, renewals that have already been processed aren’t refundable, but please know that all unused lesson credits remain valid for 12 months and can still be used whenever you’re ready.

Awful customer service, do NOT subscribe

This app is a scam and the business practice of renewing subscription charges seems to be intentionally very sketchy. They advertised a driving range which was not actually available, and I only discovered this AFTER I signed up. Despite this, they charged me again less than a month from the initial purchase for my next set of lessons, even though I had several remaining credits left (on account of having to drive across the city to a different location than the one I signed up for). When I asked them for a refund and pause until I could get through my initial lessons, they could not have cared less. I am disputing the charge with my bank. Whatever you do, do not sign up with this application or company.

Use any other Company but his one!

I received golf lessons from my wife for Fathers in in June. Tried to set up my first lesson for the following week, they couldn't reach the coach in my area. They found another coach and set up a lesson. They charged me another subscription fee when I contacted support (which is the only way to connect with them). She stated it was an error and refunded me. After my second lesson which was cut short due to the coach schedule (they charged me another subscription fee). There is no way to see on the app or website about your subscription or cancel them, calling can't get a hold of them, only messages thru the app. Of course now they state they can't refund and I have a year to use the lessons but none of the coaches have the time. One of the worst experiences. Was suppose to be a gift which was prepaid and ended up costing triple and only one lesson was had. Very poor management of time and communication.

Teachme.to did a bait and switch and racked up credit card charges

Teachme.to is a great concept and they employ good coaches. However, the company will try and scam you out of money. I had a coach who quit because he was having problems with the company paying him. I had already accumulated 7 lessons because I did not have a coach. They sent me a list of coaches which charged twice the rate and added 4 more lessons when I asked them not to. This is a classic bait and switch. When I asked them to return the money on the same day as the charge they refused. I was willing to use my 7 lessons already purchased. I have no coach so they are literally stealing. Needless to say I am filing a dispute with my credit card and reporting to the better business bureau. Scammers! Be wary of this company!

Terrible

Terrible. The only part of the app that works is auto billing establishments. Connecting with the coach, either me with him or he with me, was impossible.
The app establish appointments on my calendar for December 1969. WTF!
AI interface has everything wrong about the skill I was hoping to develop.
One star because the auto billing works, which I didn’t need because I cancelled my subscription immediately.

I almost would rate my experience -1

I almost would rate my experience -1. I have got 10 texts/emails from different people from TeachMe.To and have not heard from my assigned coach. When I return calls to the numbers that call me it goes straight to a busy signal (almost like a spam call). The lessons are not cheap and I think it's too good to be true. Either your staff are incompetent or I am and I am sure it;s not me.

I recently started taking pickleball lessons with Coach Frank through TeachMe.To, and it’s been a fantastic experience from start to finish. Scheduling was super easy using the TeachMe.To app it guided me through everything clearly and let me find times that fit my schedule. Coach Frank is not only incredibly knowledgeable about pickleball but also patient and encouraging. As someone who’s still learning the ropes of the game, I really appreciated how he broke things down and tailored each session to my level. The lessons have been both fun and productive and I’ve seen real improvement in just a few weeks. I also like that the platform handles everything, from booking to payments, so I can focus entirely on learning. I would absolutely recommend both TeachMe.To and Coach Frank to anyone looking to get better at pickleball or try it out for the first time. It’s been a great way to stay active and build confidence on the court!

Improving greatly in pickleball thanks to my lessons

Had my first pickleball lesson and he was fantastic. It was super simple to schedule and I feel I'm improving drastically thanks to the lessons.

Coming from a tennis background, my coach recognized my tennis "bad habits" and what I should do instead to translate them into pickleball.

I'll definitely be taking more lessons as I look to grow as a pickleball player.

Less than one star for this app and the…

Less than one star for this app and the coordinator who keeps texting me at 1:30am. Ridiculous. The app is horrible with trying to communicate with a coach. The AI will not let me proceed further than asking me the same questions about what my interest are. WTF.
Some guy with the app keeps texting me and asked me to provide screenshots. After I took a few screenshots, guess what? He blocks me. Unbelievable. I will try elsewhere.
