Excellent TESCO staff member, who was courteous, never tried to avoid my difficult questions & well informed about the TESCO Products. A valuable member of staff & a credit to his organisation.

Every little helps, ie every bit of money they can get from you helps them.

Tesco home insurance have come to the rescue after having a breakin, they arranged for a locksmith to attend and make all doors secure with full repair to follow shortly

Value for money policy

Took too long to answer the phone.
Made such a huge increase-60% to.purchase the same policy.
Promised in 2 previous calls to email updated information. Nothing arrived

Ok for first year, renewal costs totally out of line with market rates

Being able to speak to a person who was courteous, patient and helpful on the phone was fantastic. They tried to help me to reduce the price of the car insurance. It was more than others, but I really appreciated the personal support and was happy to renew tesco car insurance

An excellent gentleman that dealt with me

Given conflicting information by different departments after a non - fault accident
I had to request refund for £200 excess, I was told the had forgotten to ask 3 rd party. I had to follow it up a week later again to request refund.

Very professional and helpful

A fair monthly cost throughout.
When I ended up needing to make a claim, they paid out in full with no issues.

Every time I have had a reason to contact Tesco insurance, I have been very satisfied with the service, knowledge and support given to me by them. Be it a claim or renewal

I cancelled my policy over the phone as I sold my car. There was a small balance of around £50 left to pay but Tesco couldn't take payment as their 'system was down' however the insurance was cancelled and the call ended. The next thing I know is that I have a debt collection agency (Moorcroft) chasing me via email and text message for money - when you follow the comms from them there is no description as to what the amount is for. A very aggressive approach from Tesco, plus they had my bank and card details on file so could have taken the payment just as they would if their system was working at the point of cancellation. Their online account management is confusing and hard to use and they charge for any amend made by phone when you can't figure out how to do it (it's deliberately made hard). They don't offer multi car and you have to have multiple accounts if you insure more than one vehicle. AVOID.

I have found Tesco insurance for both car to be most competitive. Also when I had a major house insurance claim 10 years ago their representatives guided me through a very stressful situation, appointing a solicitor and settled the claim with the builder in full, including my excess. They were amazing.
