Ho utilizzato TextGuardAI per un servizio iniziale dal costo contenuto, ritrovandomi successivamente un addebito di 39,90 € per il rinnovo automatico di un abbonamento.
A mio avviso, le condizioni relative al rinnovo non erano comunicate in modo sufficientemente chiaro e trasparente.
Ho contattato il servizio clienti, che ha confermato la cancellazione dell’abbonamento ma ha rifiutato il rimborso, nonostante avessi spiegato di non aver mai avuto intenzione di proseguire con il servizio.
Trovo inoltre discutibile la forte somiglianza del nome con quello di un altro sito (textguard.ai), che offre un servizio decisamente diverso e, per la mia esperienza, molto più professionale. Una somiglianza che può facilmente indurre gli utenti a confondere le due piattaforme.
Considero queste modalità commerciali poco trasparenti e scorrette nei confronti dei consumatori. Sconsiglio vivamente il servizio e invito a prestare molta attenzione prima di inserire i dati di pagamento.

I paid 70p for a, as I thought, 'one off' check on a photo. Five days later I was charged £29 for a month's subscription to their 'Gold' scheme. In the most miniscule of print I have inadvertently signed up to this 'Gold' scheme - they've not signed me up to the cheaper scheme - they've gone for the 'Gold' one. And the most galling thing? The result on the photo came back as over 90% AI. As it happens, this is a genuine photo - so even 70p was a waste of money.
They have cancelled my subscription to their 'Gold' scheme but I suspect it works no better than the 70p version. Check which company you are actually using as their name is remarkable like one with far better reviews.

Me renovaron el pago de forma fraudulenta con información poco transparente, ya cancelé y todo, pero perdí el dinero que tenía destinado para una hora en el doctor, y tendré que esperar al siguiente mes porque no tengo dinero suficiente al ser estudiante. PÉSIMO.

Ho utilizzato TextGuardAi pagando inizialmente 0,70 €, convinto di acquistare un servizio a quel prezzo. Il giorno successivo mi sono ritrovato un addebito di 39,90 € per un presunto abbonamento Gold.

La cosa più grave? Durante la procedura di acquisto, le condizioni relative al successivo abbonamento non erano, a mio avviso, comunicate in maniera sufficientemente chiara ed evidente.

Evidentemente, per questa azienda, 0,70 € possono diventare 39,90 € con una facilità sorprendente.

Ho dovuto contattare il servizio clienti, richiedere la cancellazione dell’abbonamento e il rimborso, coinvolgere la mia banca, avviare una contestazione formale e chiedere il blocco di eventuali futuri addebiti.

Tutto questo per aver acquistato un servizio da 70 centesimi.

Trovo questo modello commerciale profondamente scorretto nei confronti del consumatore. Un abbonamento dovrebbe essere una scelta esplicita e consapevole, non una sorpresa da scoprire consultando i movimenti della carta.

Il problema non sono soltanto i 39,90 €. È la fiducia del consumatore, che viene completamente compromessa.

Sconsiglio vivamente questo servizio. Prima di inserire qualsiasi metodo di pagamento, controllate ogni singola condizione e soprattutto gli eventuali rinnovi automatici.

Per quanto mi riguarda, mai più.

Des pratiques commerciales déplorables. J'ai souscrit à l'offre d'essai 24h à 0,70 cts. Il faut savoir que sans demander votre accord (c'est indiqué dans "des petites lignes"), sans annulation au bout de 24h, vous passez automatiquement au forfait à 39 € PAR MOIS. Pour un outil nullisime, qui n'apporte absolument RIEN.
J'ai contacté le service client qui me répond "droit dans ses bottes", c'est écrit sur notre site.
J'ai déposé un recours auprès de la DGCCRF.
A fuir absolument

Ho messo una stella perchè non esiste una valutazione ancora inferiore.
Ho acquistato la prova di un giorno, mi sono cancellata ma il sistema non deve aver recepito perchè mi sono ritrovata l'addebito di 39,90.
Ho scritto subito all'assistenza per richiedere il rimborso e chiaramente mi hanno risposto che dovevo disdire entro 24 ore: l'ho fatto ma forse c'è un bug nel loro sistema.
A questo punto credo che sia un bug voluto, fraudolento.

I'm extremely dissatisfied. I wanted to do one short translation for 70 cents, but they immediately tried to sell me a 40-euro subscription that I can't cancel. No help from customer service. Terrible.

Subscription trap – I confirm all negative reviews!

I fully confirm all the negative reviews written here. This service is a total subscription trap. I paid 3.50 PLN for a 24-hour trial, and right after the 24 hours ended, they charged 165 PLN for a monthly Gold subscription without my clear consent.

The recurring charge conditions were hidden in tiny print at the bottom of the page. Furthermore, there is no option to remove your credit card or cancel the subscription directly from the user dashboard. Support refuses to refund the money, hiding behind generic policy responses. Avoid this website at all costs!

I initially paid for the trial version to test the features, but the "AI Killer" function did not work at all. When I checked the results on other GPT detection websites, it showed 100% AI generation. Concluding that your service is completely useless, I used it exactly once and have never used it since. However, I was charged for a different subscription plan 24 hours later????

This charge was processed without my awareness that an automatic billing would occur after 24 hours. I canceled my subscription immediately. Apart from that single request during the cheap trial, I have not used your service at all. Please refund this amount immediately.

Fraudulent business par exellence. I was being charged although I cancelled my subscription. This is pure scam.

On August 12, 2026, I signed up for a one-day trial of TextGuard AI's service, advertised at a cost of $0.79. I did not sign up for or knowingly agree to an ongoing monthly subscription — I intended to use the one-day trial only.

Despite this, I was charged $46.90 for a full month's subscription that I never requested.

On August 13, 2026, I contacted the company's support team by email, explained that the trial was not useful to me, that I had no intention of continuing the service, and requested a refund of the $46.90 charge.

The company denied the refund, stating that the subscription "continued to be active after the initial 24-hour period" and that it "automatically renewed" unless cancelled before the renewal date. I was never clearly informed at signup that a $0.79 one-day trial would silently convert into a $46.90 recurring monthly charge unless I proactively cancelled within 24 hours.

I followed up again on August 13, explaining the poor business practice and requesting a refund a second time. On August 14, 2026, the company again denied the refund, this time stating that "responsibility for cancelling or unsubscribing from the service rests exclusively with the user" and that "ignorance of accepted terms does not exempt you from the established conditions." They also claimed to have no record of a cancellation request during the trial period, despite my having contacted them the day after signing up.

I have a full email chain documenting this exchange, including timestamps.

Pessima esperienza. Ho acquistato una prova di un giorno al costo di 0,70 €, senza che fosse indicato in modo chiaro che avrei sottoscritto un abbonamento. Il giorno successivo mi sono ritrovata un addebito di 39,90 € del tutto inaspettato.

Ho contattato immediatamente l’assistenza, spiegando di non aver consapevolmente sottoscritto alcun abbonamento, di non avere intenzione di usufruire del servizio e chiedendo quindi l’annullamento e il rimborso immediato dell’importo. Nonostante ciò, mi è stato risposto che non avrebbero effettuato alcun rimborso.

Ritengo che le condizioni dell’offerta avrebbero dovuto essere indicate in maniera molto più chiara e trasparente prima del pagamento. Mi sono sentita ingannata e trovo inaccettabile anche la totale indisponibilità dell’assistenza a risolvere il problema. Sconsiglio vivamente questo sito.

Ho utilizzato TextGuard una sola volta e, successivamente, mi sono ritrovato oggi un addebito di €39,90 tramite Apple Pay relativo al rinnovo dell’abbonamento.

Non avevo intenzione di proseguire con un abbonamento mensile e ho contattato immediatamente il servizio clienti chiedendo il rimborso. Mi è stato risposto che il rimborso non sarebbe possibile perché l’abbonamento si era rinnovato automaticamente al termine della prova di 24 ore.

Il servizio clienti ha comunque confermato per iscritto la cancellazione dell’abbonamento e che non verranno effettuati ulteriori addebiti.

Trovo questo meccanismo e soprattutto la gestione della richiesta di rimborso poco trasparenti dal punto di vista del consumatore.

Ho chiesto che il caso venga riesaminato e, in assenza di una soluzione, mi rivolgerò anche al mio gestore del pagamento e agli organismi competenti per segnalare la mia esperienza.

Invito chiunque stia valutando di utilizzare questo servizio a prestare particolare attenzione alle condizioni della prova e al successivo rinnovo automatico.

Textguardai è vergognoso. Reputa un testo scritto in un linguaggio stilistico personale, troppo bello per essere scaturito dalla mente umana. Più lo stile è raffinato più sostiene essere generato con AI. Ho anche fatto la prova chiedendo a textguardai di “umanizzare “ il testo. Una bieca e sterile trasformazione di alcune parole, qua e là nel testo. In pratica offensivo della creatività umana. Infine, per ultimo, ma non per importanza, Textguardai giudica/ rileva il titolo del mio libro, che è un nome proprio di persona, quale generato con AI. Però non ha fornito un nome “umanizzato” nè alternativo nè niente. Forse a textguardai è stato detto che gli umani si esprimono con le emoticon ed io non ne ho usata neanche una. Starò attenta.

Habe den 24h Plan gekauft für 0,70€, dabei kann man aber nur eine minimale anzahl an texten humanizen. Wenn man es nicht rechtzeitig kündigt wird das Abo automatisch auf das teuerste geändert. Das Beste ist ja noch, bei der Demo kam so eine special Animation als würde der so viel im Hintergrund berechnen und bearbeiten, dabei macht der kaum was und GPTZero erkennt den Text IMMER mit 100% AI. Auf keinen Fall denen überhaupt die 70Cent geben
