Worst company ever. They are in charge of delivering cards to Bunq customers. I sent multiple custom drawings on my card which weren't offensive (it was about supporting crypto) or anything like that and all of them were rejected and my card was never delivered! GARBAGE COMPANY. They are the worst of the worst at censorship!

I really, really hope that people read these reviews. We manage a client that uses one of the Thales products--Vormetric disk encryption.
The software works--for the most part. However, there are several serious problems. The software is not certified with all RHEL kernels, and every time you have to upgrade the kernel, you also have to upgrade the Vormetric version as well.
Technical support responds reasonably quickly, but is completely uninterested in helping. They'd much rather just close the case without really solving your problem.
We've had several instances where we had production servers down because of Thales. Each time, it was very difficult to get a competent tech on the line. Only once did we get a guy who was any good.
Oh, another thing. When you upgrade the software, better hope that it's to a version that is bug free. Otherwise the "upgrade" process is a nigthmare.
Yes, look for a different vendor for disk encryption. If you do Thales, you will really, really regret it.

This is the company that is selling military tech to russians so that they can accurately kill civilians, there is plenty of proof going around showing that this company's tech was used by russians to target civilians, some even where running to the borders when they got blown up by russians thanks to Thales tech. What is worse is that it is a European company based in France yet they are selling weapons to the enemy of Europe. I really hope they pay for their treason towards Europeans
En tant que français, et pour avoir travaillé chez ThalÚs dans deux branches bien distinctes, je dois dire que ThalÚs n'est plus aussi glorieux que par le passé. Si encore c'était synonyme de prestige, ça ne l'est plus vraiment à présent. Du moins, en tant que concepteur en mécanique (CAO). A commencer par la branche située à Ãlancourt, aucune voire trÚs peu de formations données aux nouveaux arrivants sur les outils informatiques utilisés qui sont bien trop nombreux pour s'y retrouver, surtout qu'ils ne prennent apparemment que des prestataires, et ne semblent pas ouverts à recruter un membre en dehors de ce circuit. Mais bref, aucune formation, et on vous demande d'être opérationnel de suite tout en vous refilant des dossiers complexes à traiter en urgence, ce qui n'est pas du tout le meilleur moyen pour commencer dans une boite. Et malgré toute l'armée d'ingénieurs, personne ne comprend qu'une formation d'au moins une semaine était nécessaire.
Finalement, en allant chez ThalÚs à Chatou, en l'espace de 2~3 semaines, j'ai appris bien plus de chose qu'en 2 mois passés à Ãlancourt. Cependant, Chatou peut vous proposer un boulot consistant à travailler sur un équivalent de.... Paint et non sur Catia pour mettre à jour de vieux plans. Un concepteur en mécanique n'a que faire que de bosser sur Paint. A trÚs court terme, pourquoi pas, mais à moyen terme, c'est tout bonnement lassant et décourageant.
Tout ceci n'est que mon avis, basé sur ma propre expérience.
I have never in my 30 years in the IT industry had a company as bad as Thales when it came to customer service.
When you send a message that never gets responded back to when you call the customer service agent says that I cant get put through to any department if I donât have a contact in that department. How can I know a contact in a department if this is the first time I am calling Thales.
How is anyone supposed to contact or work with Thales if thatâs how Thales deal with enquiries.
I was trying to work with this company to implement a system for the Digital ID cards platform even with a 20 million card platform Thales didn't care to even answer back with an email or a call. A simple sorry we are not interested would have been fine.
Sorry about my rant, this is the first time I was so frustrated to get a simple yes or no answer from a company.
If Thales are not interested in projects which are less than a certain amount of money, state that amount or call or email to let the customer know that they are not interested.
I contacted twice by phone my colleague in France contacted once we could not get through to anyone in Thales to help us.
