Victor was super helpful with an employee that lost coverage on the last day of the month. He helped get the employee enrolled and coverage in place for the 1st!

Customer Support Gap

Man, I read some of the positive reviews here and yes, it's great to be able to offer a list of plans to employees as a small business owner. But I just got thrown into this platform and it's supposed to integrate with ADP, but it's not, and I'm trying to contact someone, to no avail. No phone number listed. I should have known the customer support would be subpar. I mean, I can probably knock out my questions on a 5-minute phone call but instead it could be days.

So I did get an email from Kevin offering answers to my questions and the ability to jump on a call. This was helpful and his answers were thorough. They did say they are evaluating a customer support phone service but it is not available yet. My experience turned out better, but it still took several hours to get answers that could have been provided earlier in the day.

I was to receive coverage effective 19 days ago.

I was to receive coverage effective February 1, 2026 and as of this writing, February 19, 2026 do not have health coverage and have had to cancel numerous appointments for my Stage IV cancer treatment. The communication is extremely poor to non-existent, and I would not recommend this broker at all. Last week, they informed my HR that they need additional time, which will bring us closer to March. Further jeopardizing my health and/or life.

As discussed on that call, given the severity of the situation, our leadership team has been onsite with the insurance carrier's leadership team this week. Customer Service is OUTSTANDING

Customer Service is OUTSTANDING! I email THATCH and get a response so quickly, I am so pleased with how the process has gone since we have joined 8/2025. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Customer support has greatly improved

I've been with Thatch for about 1.5 years and initially I found their customer support to be slow to respond and it often took more than one interaction to resolve an issue. Over the past 1.5 years they have greatly improved customer support and I routinely get responses to my emails within 15 minutes, typically resolving the issue the first time.

Slow reimbursements and poor communication

The communication regarding reimbursements "waiting for review" is very poor. I am still waiting for reimbursements for my Medicare premiums, which are already known and established in my account. I have emailed twice without a response to my questions. I am also an administrator of my employer's account. It's very disappointing to think that the rest of our employees are experiencing the same slow service and poor communication.

Thatch has a wonderful and reliable service. Kevin was always there for me when I needed help with my reimbursement. I am not technologically knowledgeable and Kevin was always able to help me with filing my claim. I would recommend Thatch to anyone who needs help filing claims. Way to go! Thank you for all of your help Kevin and Thatch support employees. I wouldn’t have gotten it without your help this past year. Thank you and I am looking forward to using your services this coming year.

Incredible customer service!

Thatch’s customer service has been AWESOME. During open enrollment, I had a lot of back-and-forth communication with a wonderful representative, Victor, and he always responded quickly and thoroughly. Even though I asked many questions across a variety of scenarios, he was consistently patient and never once short with me. I was genuinely impressed by the fast response times too - especially considering that November is likely their busiest month for enrollments!

Exceptional Care and Support

Our team recently had appointments for Open Enrollment with Thatch benefit counselors, and the experience was exceptional. Every team member left their session feeling heard, supported, and confident in their decisions.

The counselors provided guidance with patience, clarity, and compassion, helping staff navigate questions and decisions with ease. By the end of their appointments, everyone felt informed and empowered, turning uncertainty into confidence.

Great ICHRA Vendor

We were transitioning from an incumbent ICHRA vendor to THATCH. The experience the Employees had with THATCH was tremendously better than with the former vendor. Communications from THATCH to the Broker and THATCH to the Group were great. Highly recommended.

I worked with a client to transition to…

I worked with a client to transition to Thatch on a tight time frame. They were able to quote, install quickly, and when we had an error on premiums paid for first month they were able to return funds same day! Thanks Thatch Team.

Excellent Help Desk

The website has an excellent AI chat that is quite helpful. But when it can't answer, it offers to open a help desk ticket for you. And the help desk staff are quick to respond (same day for me) and work hard at making sure that your issue is resolved completely. Between the AI chat and the help desk support with real people, this is one of the best help support systems that I have encountered.
