Really pleased with the car we bought from Repossessions-UK Doncaster. We had a couple of teething problems which they were more than happy to sort out for us. The repairs that were needed have been carried out to a very high standard. Couldn't wish for better aftersales support. George and Adam were really great to deal with.

Honest review about this company,
Unfortunately my circumstances meant that I needed a car within the same day of looking, I found the vehicle I purchased from this dealership and had pleasant conversations with the manager over the phone throughout the day, due to having no vehicle to get to Doncaster from Lincoln I had to wait for someone to take me which the manager was informed about and they kept the dealership open slightly later than usual, on arrival the process was very rushed, the manager had minimal interaction with us and the car was difficult to assess due to poor lighting as it was now well into the evening, the vehicle was sold as seen and without warranty which is partially our fault for being naive and buying a vehicle without warranty, but the whole experience purchasing from this dealership has been horrible, the older gentleman was very rude and condescending constantly asking if we had the money, the vehicle appeared to be in good condition when we left and drove well but over the course of the past 4 months I have had no end of problems with it. This vehicle was not in a state to be sold and we should have said no from the get go but because we had travelled it seemed a wasted journey and the car was desperately needed, hindsight is a wonderful thing, I would definitely not recommend this dealership and will not be bringing my service back again

Quick easy process. Caitlin was friendly and made everything simple. Leanne did the handover and was professional and helpful. UK Repossessions offer a no frills service and the price of the car was very competitive, lower than main dealerships.

Adam and George from Doncaster were great. They were accommodating and made the whole process very streamlined. I’m very happy with my car.

Had excellent service from Caitlin in store recently, she was efficient and helpful with all our questions. She was lovely yet professional.

Never trust this man! Purchased a car that has been delivered and had a seized engine! What a waste of money! No refund !

Bought a car from Repossessions UK in Doncaster in September 2023 and am very happy with how everything was handled. Was very happy with the quality of car I got for the money spent. Matt was there when I inspected and test drove the car and George there when I went back to collect it. Both easy going and helpful. Matt said a few things needed sorting when I first went to look at it - and all those things had been dealt with when I went to collect it. Would be happy to buy from this company again but hopefully I won't have to for a while if I have more luck in avoiding bad drivers in this car than my previous one

I honestly don't know if these people are just completely and utterly incompetent or if they are cunningly deceptive and just play ignorant. Either way, they shouldn't be in the motor trade.

Here's what happened.
Rang them a few times this week to ask about a Ford Kuga, (SL15 OLB) and was keen to come and see and buy the vehicle.

Told them each time, I would be coming from Croydon, (9 hour round trip) and so would very likely be coming to buy the car.

I left at 05:30, get there at 10am - £150 train/bus tickets..

First red flag.
Greeted by a very young lad who hands me a single key, and carries on with whatever he was doing. Left to go take a look on my own... He wasn't interested in assisting.

Key fob was dead. Flat battery... He tells me that's the only key they have, it only came with 1 key and then spends 5 minutes trying to open it before looking on YouTube to figure out how to change the battery in the key fob.

Serious lack of preparation and knowledge here.

Second red flag.
The exterior of the car is filthy, clearly hasn't been washed in a while. Staining and sticky stuff on it too... This shows a lack of interest in their vehicles by the dealer. Presenting a car so poorly will put people off and cause them to dig deeper, which I did.

The boot interior has extensive deep scratching too, as if it had been carrying around unrestrained sharp objects in the boot that had gouged all of the plastics in the boot. This is damage, not wear and tear. No mention of this anywhere in descriptions or photos.

He then came out to me with the second key.
By this time I'm already regretting coming to see this car and thinking I should just leave... But looked for reasons to buy it. I've wanted a car like this for a long time.

Third red flag.
I checked all of the wheels and tyres only to find that the rear disc brakes were corroded & damaged. The brake pads have carved a very deep channel into the discs, all of which had extensive corrosion too. Far beyond surface rust from sitting idle for a few months. Both rear brakes were like this and need replacing urgently

Forth Red Flag.
I got under the car to look at the sub-frame. Sadly, the entire subframe of the car has extensive severe corrosion everywhere. Every single piece of metal under the car had corroded and is flaking. Even the metal frame up behind the rear bumper.

This car had clearly been exposed to a lot of salt, and has never been looked after or cleaned off, nor taken care of.

It was painfully obvious that despite looking ok on paper, this car has been badly neglected and the tiny photos available online do a great job of hiding all of this. They had taken the photos months ago too.

Fifth red flag.
I figured its already a right-off, so what else can I find... I started the car, and immediately noticed the temperature was at normal running temp, indicating that they had run the car for some time to warm it up... This is a huge no-no, as the customer will not get to hear/see it start from cold! (Hiding something?)

Sixth Red Flag.
The car sounded ok, everything seemed to be working until I put the Air Con on... This is when the car made a loud screeching noise and died on me. This happened repeatedly and was consistent.

They claimed no knowledge of this at all! Even stating that the car runs fine... Well, yes, it only runs if the AC is off. But to test the vehicle's electrical system, you want to run everything, on full, the AC, heated seats, radio, the works, to see if the electrical system is working.

In was clear this was not a "This just happened" thing either. The chap did try to cover it up claiming the car has been fine. (Yeah right)

This problem aligned with the overall condition of the car too.

3 Months they've had to fix, clean and repair anything on it, and inspect it properly and test everything... 3 full months... But didn't do anything. They claim their mechanics are ok with it too. Huge red flag right there.

I wouldn't trust this place to sell anything, let alone cars.

Both members of staff I dealt with, Caitlin and Carlos were both friendly and helpful and polite, in some cases it seemed “ going beyond the call of duty”
I was so impressed that I am happy to use you again and promote you amongst my friends and colleagues.

Having scoured auto trader for my daughter I was beginning to lose the will to live. Found a 2018 Clio 1.5 D at Doncaster. Normally i would buy used approved but was interested in going the no frills route. Graham was my contact and was brilliant. Travelled over from Merseyside (2.5 hr drive). Test drive was ample but noted the air con was not working, the car pulled to the right and the brakes felt weak. Car itself was stunning and a good price. Graham/George sorted the aircon and tracking and the MOT flagged it needed ne front discs/pads. Went back 2 weeks later to collect and has been a pleasure for my daughter to learn to drive in. I took it t my usual mechanic today to give it a test drive and check and he found no faults. The car came with full Renault service history. I checked with Park Renault Ayr who confirmed this.

I ended up doing more checks than i usually would and travelling a lot further than i usually would X 2 trips but saved about £2k from buying from Renault....

Would i recommend them? definitely

Improvements?- They need to sort out a delivery service- internal or contracted out. Doesn't matter which.
