Excellent Service by Claire Mitten :)

A godsend

Business. There are highs and lows to navigate, and it often feels that success or failure is the sole result of the decisions you alone make, even though that’s rarely the case. You learn and you keep going. You give your all, nurse the bruises and celebrate the wins. Your business becomes a part of you, which is why the prospect of company insolvency can feel so devastating. It’s unchartered territory, and the fear and uncertainty can be overwhelming.

I stumbled across The Director’s Helpline and David answered my call. He was a godsend. He took the time to understand my business and circumstances and gave me the information and reassurance I needed to do what needed to be done. He also connected me with pragmatic, supportive professionals who have helped enormously with the insolvency process. Hand on heart, I would not have made it through this period without David and The Director’s Helpline. If you’re a business owner facing tough times, call them now.

Reassuring

Out of curiosity I called their number as they were all over Facebook videos and the service was relevant to me. I was dubious but I spoke to someone and got some really useful free advice. Totally free. It was very useful and reassuring.
