We had a very disappointing experience with Grommet during our launch campaign. After putting time and effort into getting everything set up and promoting the launch, our listing was not reliably showing on the front end during launch week, which created real downtime and lost opportunity.

When I asked for clarification and support, including why our listing was down again and where certain ranking factors had been disclosed in the original campaign materials, I received no response after multiple follow ups. The lack of communication was especially frustrating given the time-sensitive nature of a launch.

If you are hoping this will elevate your product sales, I would look at other channels. We received one sale during the entire week.

Overall, the campaign felt like a waste of time and resources for our team. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Grommet to other brands expecting a reliable launch process or responsive support.

HOW DARE GROMMET? I have not in any way requested to join Grommet or purchased anything through them but I have received a "welcome" email, listing my email address among hundreds of others. Upon replying, as suggested, my replies failed: "bad destination mailbox address" "the email account that you tried to reach does not exist". HELP!

The Grommet has a been a consistent performer/driver of sales when it comes to the listings. They will always be a part of distribution strategy.

I love Grommet! They always have innovative, creative products and unusual ideas. I’ve purchased various items over the years, and always have good luck with them. Items are usually high quality and solve interesting issues. Their customer service support is outstanding as well. I highly recommend Grommet!!

I’m a seller, and Grommet repeatedly reached out to get my products on their platform. Big promises, big talk. The reality? Insanely high commissions with the excuse of “marketing efforts” — yet there’s zero meaningful marketing happening on their end.

What’s worse: they completely ignore you once you’re onboarded. I’ve reached out multiple times for support, clarification, anything — and got absolutely nothing. No replies, no guidance, no accountability.

On top of that, prices on Grommet are inflated, making it seem like they’re helping customers “discover great products,” when in reality, customers are being ripped off and sellers are expected to just take the hit.

If you’re a seller or buyer considering Grommet, do yourself a favor and run the other way. The platform is misleading at best and downright disrespectful at worst.

This company isn't selling anything you can't find anywhere else for less. Contact lenses case. A contact lenses case should only be used for 30 days. I wonder about the positive reviews, too. It seems like companies in small towns sometimes have friends and family, as well as, employees themselves write positive views for a company that is trying desperately to be sophisticated. The marketing reminds me of the early 2000's and how the background of a company website was always white. Very simple set up.

Be very cautious before signing up. This platform forces a 20% discount and then takes a punishing 30% commission—you’re effectively selling at wholesale prices with none of the wholesale benefits. I know of no other marketplace that skims this high. In my data, 82% of customers bought only once, so there’s no lifetime value—just discount hunters. If your business doesn’t require repeat customers, maybe this works; for me, it’s unsustainable. I pressed their team repeatedly for a more reasonable commission and got nowhere. Bottom line: the economics don’t pencil. I was on the platform for a year and a half and gave it a fair shot—the results did not match the promise.

I had trouble reaching a vender of a product I bought through Grommet and had an issue returning for refund. Grommet customer service handled it immediately with a positive result!

I was so delighted to have something special to send to my daughter! And knowing it would help her health wise! When I asked her some questions, she didn’t know what I was talking about. Apparently the company never sent her info about choosing and using the product of which I sent two. Please inform your companies that they must include the same helpful information which is displayed online for us buyers! Thanks for the time!

I didn’t buy this time around, but there are SO many interesting, useful items here! I like the variety and the prices are fair.

I have recommended Grommet before and will again. It is a fun site with creative products.
