Would just like to write a quick review to say how happy I am with the hair I ordered from the hair extension group! The quality of the product is second to none and I haven’t had any complaints to date! They seem to last longer than my previous supplier! I dealt with Charlie McDermott at the hair extension group who was so helpful and answered any questions I had and is a fantastic point of contact and seemed very knowledgeable, I will definitely continue ordering hair from them

The hair extension group is one of my main suppliers and their hair is absolutely beautiful. Lasts way longer than any other supplier, and their customer service is fantastic. They are always there to help, even with a colour match if I’m unsure. Would highly recommend them to any extensionists!

I did my training with The Hair Extension Group around 2 months ago and I am absolutely loving the method!

The training was really informative & the help and support I received off Charlotte was brilliant! She answered any questions I had and is still on hand now if I need anything which I really appreciate!

The method itself is unbelievable, my clients can’t get over how discreet and comfortable it is and also how good the quality of the hair is!!

Absolutely love working with the Ghost Wefts in the salon, much more lightweight and kinder to my clients hair! All of my clients have been raving about them saying that they’re much easier to manage.

Always have super quick delivery and the stock levels are really good, only had rare occasions that a shade I need isn’t in stock and even then it comes back in fairly quickly! Lovely customer care team as well xx

GIRLS PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS HAIR!!!!!!

I have been wearing extensions for six years this is the worst hair I have ever had fitted. I have worn cheaper brands of hair at a much better quality.

I had my naked weft fitted in June (£600) and decided to have it taken out instead of my first refit appointment as I was SO sick of the constant battle with the hair. Had it put back in 6 days ago and I’m ready to remove it again.

It matts up so bad to the point it’s embarrassing, people have made comments on how bad it looks & I’m constantly brushing it out everywhere I go. No matter what hairstyle I’ve got in it will Matt. I brush, wash, oil, heat protect and dry my hair correctly in sections and it will still knot up 5 mins later.

The hair is insanely over processed when wet it’s like chewing gum, sticks together, stretches apart and breaks off. It literally feels like doll hair (don’t even believe it’s human hair at this point).

I have spent £70 on swapping my already hair extension suitable products about in attempt to save the hair. I’ve had other people blow dry my hair incase it was that. I bought a different type of extension brush. Nothing helped.

The aftercare is NOT the problem here, I have treated this hair no different, if not better than my other brands and yet this is the only brand I’ve ever had problems with. The hair being poor quality, dry and over processed is the issue.

Looking at other reviews I can see this brand isn’t willing to hold themselves accountable on this common issue and won’t help me, I’m only writing this review to say please avoid getting this hair!!! It’s money down the drain :(

**understandably I know blonde hair extensions last less time and can be dryer but again I have had less than two months of wear. It’s not okay

Ordered a curling wand for my daughter. Order process was very straightforward, delivery quick and excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend.

I’m a hairdresser of 22 years and have tried many different hair extensions in my own hair over the years.
For the last 3 I have been getting the naked weave method and loved them
My extension fitter spoke to me about the ghost weft and due to her great selling skills and the feel of the hair I felt I had to try these with a special occasion coming up.
4 weeks after fitting I noticed they felt dry (only wash once a week) I used all the same after care product along with silk pillow cases and bonnet, no excessive heat oils masks you name it, I know how important after care is and it really does extend the life span.
At the 8 week fitting I expressed how unhappy I am and my lady agreed it felt horrible so I had them taken out and sent off for testing.
They have now sent them back with a serum that’s Iv already been using.
8 weeks I’d not the 9-12 months they use to sell this hair. I have spent £600+ on this hair and this is the first time in my career and as a hair extension wearer Iv come across issues
They have used after care as an excuse and refuse to take responsibility for the poor product . I let my hair extension stylist deal with the complaint but now I have stepped in. Any further advise from anyone who has had issues with them would be greatly appreciated as I prepare to take this issue further

Since I was unable to reply to you're last reply I'm having to write a review in order to respond . ... firstly the reason I got in touch "serval weeks later " was because I HAD A BROKEN ARM !!!!!! excuse me if my first thought after potentially never been able to work as a stylist again , potentially losing my business and going through major surgery wasn't to pick up my phone and inform you !! I contacted you as soon as i was mentally and physically able to !!! Regardless of what you're policy states it's truly in bad taste that you wouldn't honer my case given the circumstances...its quite disgusting actually!! And in response to you're other little dig "you offed me it at a substantial cheaper rate " why on earth would give you even more money when you're staff where nothing but rude , dismissive and nit wiling to have one ounce of compassion. Bottom line is you're whole attitude was outrageous and this all I have to say on the matter . I would NEVER have this attitude toward any of my clients.

I’m a hair extension specialist & hair loss specialist and I have been for 6 years.

I got invited to Ola’s hair reveal party in Manchester which was great and the hair seemed amazing. So I purchased a colour ring straight away and clients started to convert.

I’ve had problem after problem - sooo many ladies have had shedding, matting, discolouration in as little as a few weeks. The hair extension group are no help at all & are patronising. They always say the same thing “blondes have had more processing, our hair lasts a minimum of 18 months, it’s all down to aftercare” - Trust me my ladies know what they are doing for aftercare, they’ve been with me for years!!

You need to start giving a damn and stop fobbing people off with stupid excuses.

Also what’s with this “sending hair off for analysis?” I’ve asked a few times what this apparently involves and they can’t answer BECAUSE IT DOESNT EXIST!!

Never been so let down with a company - colour ring is in the bin & I no longer will support a shoddy business like yours.

Not happy at all. Spent £600 on 20” from the hair extension group through the lady who has been fitting my hair for the past 5 years.
At the start the hair was soft, thick and beautiful however after having them fitted for half an hour, they started matting.
I found that an hour after brushing they started matting.
After washing, the hair extensions were so matted it took over 2 hours to dry with the hair dryer. I couldn’t even get a brush through it.
The hair began breaking 6” up the shaft going to 14” from 20” The hair started falling out and thinning within a week of it being fitted. The hair didn’t feel like human hair, it felt synthetic like a Barbour dolls hair.
After speaking to my hair dresser, she has had the same complaint from 6 different ladies, all blondes.
When contacting the hair extension group we were told that the hair would have to be sent from analysis. One lady had hers removed and sent away to be told there is nothing wrong with the hair.
She is yet to get that hair back after 4 months.
My hair has lasted only 4 months. Even with the correct hair care. Hair masks, hair oil twice a day. Washing once a week, braiding the hair at night and wearing a silk bonnet for bed.
I have never experienced hair like this. I struggle with having very thin hair so my hair is a real confidence booster however to be sat at the hair dressers crying because the extensions are a mess all the time, makes you feel awful and embarrassed.

I'm really sorry to leave this negative review - I've spent around £600 on hair extensions just to have the shedding situation completely get out of hand. It's been about 4-5 months since I got them and they were absolutely beautiful at the beginning, lovely thickness/hair ratio and very good condition - but now I'm desperately hunting for new extensions as they've thinned out significantly even with proper hair care (oil, spray, olaplex, adequate heat protection/low level of hair tools used, washing sparingly, deep conditioning, hair in silk cap when at home, etc). It's quite disappointing as I had to save up for the extensions and also can't really afford new ones right now but need them urgent in order to get my hair coloured/styled this month, so I'm not satisfied overall and couldn't recommend at this point. The genius/ghost weft is lovely but it does feel a bit like similar quality of hair that I've used from dropshippers before on Asian marketplaces. Love the concept and original condition, not happy with longevity. :(

The hair is awful!

I use professional products recommended by my qualified extension technician and she is baffled at how much breakage I’ve had after 5 months?!
Apparently, I’m not the only one who has had this problem with this hair and I’m not the only one who’s disappointed-the breakage is unreal!
I hardly use straighteners and wear protective styles to sleep, I take incredibly good care of them and I’ve never had this issue with any other hair before!

Awful-do not recommend. If I could leave no stars, I would! I won’t be using this hair ever again! It doesn’t last and it’s not worth the money you pay, incredibly low quality!!

I bought a blonde ghost weave and singles in october, 6 months later and it’s incredibly thin and a lot shorter than when I bought it. It looked amazing when I first got it but now it looks awful, I am embarrassed to wear it but have no other choice because it was so expensive in the first place. I’ve been using only professional products on it, barely use any heat. The extensions are just not good quality and I am incredibly disappointed and upset. Stay away from getting extensions from this company.

After wearing extensions for over 29 years these are the best I’ve used. Easy to look after. Low maintenance and a dream to style. So happy to have found them!

Absolutely amazing company, their hair extensions cannot be rivalled. If you want hair extensions that aren’t going to damage your hair, or make it go thin then this if the place you need to go to! I’ve been getting hair extensions for years now and my hair is in better condition than when I started, absolutely love the whole team and can’t recommend them enough! ❤️
