The Handrail People レビュー

From survey to installation my dealings with The Handrail People was excellent. On installation the fitting of the two handrails were millimetre perfect in their fit, having to deal with both steps and angles. I highly recommend The Handrail People.

Excellent hand crafted handrail/fence for 3 separate irregular stepped areas one with a gate
The metal work just looks like it belongs there and makes it all so much safer for blind and infirm visitors
The initial contact was quietly professional with no pressure sales and good advice on what would work better
The installation was by two skilled metal workers who at every stage explained and checked that what they were doing met our needs
We are very very pleased that we chose these people

An excellent product, well made, very stable and a great help to us. All the Handrail staff we dealt with were extremely helpful.

From beginning to the end the Handrail People have been friendly & professional both on the ‘phone and in person, I asked for three different types of handrail, the person who came gave good advice, measured very carefully including from opening out conservatory doors onto quite steep steps, a process we hadn’t thought possible . He referred me to the various designs on their website & I chose our fittings to match our existing boundary railings, I asked for & received the very specific drawings so that my husband could see exactly what was intended. A team of two arrived on June 17th coinciding with the stairlift fitters. They worked hard to fit all railings in a relatively short time, cleared up & cleaned the handrails to a perfect shine . Completed & inspected in less than two hours. Obviously the concrete needed to set do we were advised not to use them until the next day. They are perfect & everyone has remarked that they look as though they have always been there,
We are most grateful for the service we received at a reasonable price.

I was looking for a local company that could make bespoke balustrades to fit a unique design of steps at the back of my property. The Handrail People provided a fair quote for the production of the items and fitting them. The length of time between quote and fitting was about double what I was led to expect, but being bespoke items this was acceptable. The fitting was done to a very high standard and look fantastic, achieving functionality with excellent design. If you are looking for a quick turnaround and a cheap price then look elsewhere, but for a quality design and fitting then I would definitely recommend this company.

Absolutely wonderful service. Very prompt responses on email, received a quote quickly followed by a great job completed in the timeframe agreed.

We recently had handrails fitted to our front steps by this company.
The quality of the rails and the installation are not in question. However the time taken from quote to installation is.
When the man came to measure up we were told lead time was 6 to ten weeks. We explained that we were concerned about the possibility of my wife tripping on the steps and were given the ‘salesman ‘ talk that they would do everything to ensure fitting in about 6 weeks. 12 weeks later they arrived.
Be aware if you are considering using this company.

I was distinctly underwhelmed by my dealings with The Handrail Man - Banisters was installed and looks OK but workmen severed Alarm wires under carpet which was an additional unwelcome cost for me. John 'apologised' but offered nothing in return and in fact tried to charge me an additional fee for extra caps that he overlooked in his initial quote. Very poor experience so I would not recommend this outfit.

May not be the cheapest but the service was excellent.

I needed a handrail in the garden and some external grab bars. Whole process - measuring up, quote, fitting - was so easy and I am pleased with the result. It looks good (not institutional!)

We needed handrails fitted for awkward steps both at the front and back of our house, and being elderly and doddery, we could no longer consider fitting them ourselves. I contacted The Handrail People and they got back to me with excellent communication, sending someone to measure up and estimate, and we went ahead and ordered. There is a bit of a wait for delivery, but I was kept well informed as to progress by Ella in the office, and the two young men who came and fitted the rails yesterday did an excellent job. We are very happy with the service from this firm and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Great service, great products and a firm I highly recommend.
Now in our late seventies we were feeling unsure as we walked down three sets of steps at the front and back of our bungalow.
The Handrail team came to our property and measured so all the handrails fitted precisely.
The were cheerful and efficient when they worked and I cannot speak too highly of them. They made our lives safer and more pleasant.

Excellent company. Came to measure up free of charge. Installation was excellent and handrail is very sturdy. Lovely handrail. Thank you

In one word fantastic. They look good are made good and really good value for money. The two young men that came to do the fitting were very polite and professional. Recommend this company 100%.

A fantastic experience with people who cared about delivering great service and quality. The two guys who came to install were excellent

We wanted a handrail for our outdoor steps. I found the Handrail people through a google search and I am so pleased I did. Quick response to my query, someone came and measured within a couple of weeks with pictures of all the styles I could choose from. They were very patient when I dithered about which style.
Then when it was fitted, in less than an hour, it just looked like it had always been there.
Great service, a fantastic produce at a good price, I thoroughly recommend them
