Highly professional and organised academy. The tutor was excellent and really took the time with everyone to ensure they understood every step.
Got my level 3. Would highly recommend.

I completed my level 3 Make up and Nail tech courses here and loved every minute! The Staff are lovely and the training was so much fun! I’d highly recommend x

If I did a day course I would always choose to learn through the national beauty academy for years,
I have done day waxing which went amazing, I was made to feel comfortable and felt I left known my money was spent well.
They had a gel and acrylic day course and this is were it went wrong, the lecturer herself was amazing but management let her down massively, I had to pester them for dates and times, I got told I didn't need someone in to practice on but then did lucky my daughter was off so my husband could bring her over which is a 20min drive.
I sat for 30mins at the beginning as not only was she doing gels but she was teaching someone acrylics, which for the money paid and a half day session just tuck the biscuit, I didn't get the full time, full information and to top it off the poor lecturer had to eat a sandwich while teaching because they told a lady a different time for her gels. All in all it was a shambles.
Acrylics I had the same lecturer and again chased for the information and still didn't get it as the print again didn't work.
She had people coming in from level 3 to finish so again time was spent else where which again for the price was no good, both course I felt I needed a refresher as I wasn't giving the information I didn't, but I can fault the lecturer she did her best with what she was given.
I paid for certificate which to this day still have not arrived, and I'm still waiting for the acrylic one to be emailed.

So I put a review up and they got intouch, they apologised and offered me to come back and do the course and another free one, which was amazing but was short lived, again I had to chase them, emails were sent that they didn't receive or I didn't receive from them which is unbelievable as I always replied from the same email which they replied back too. I was told multiple times someone would be intouch and they never were.

My last email I sent was a email describing how unhappy I was and shock horror to this day I've had no response... I haven't beable to go back and do any course even the free one.

What a shame, I've heard from multiple people similar things have happened to them.

A great place to learn, the tutors helped me achieve four level 3's and 2 level 2's in 12 months, you couldn't ask for any better support. Look forward to learning more with you.

UPDATE - since this review the company reached out and offered for me to redo the course and a free course as an apology, that my certificate would be sent out, unfortunately again the certificate didnt turn up so i reached out about getting them in person when coming for course, i feel i had to run around again chasing them through email and got told emails were sent which i never received but i got replys.
I asked when course were and told someone would be intouch then never heard anything and got an email the day before the course, i reached out again as that was no good to me, family and work commitments. To be told someone would be intouch about more possible days to never hearing back, ive reached out again one last time about my frustration and have been ignored... such a shame also tried ringing but never got answered or told someone would ring.

I paid for a day course in gels and acrylics, I had to email them for all the information and ring to get them to send me it, got there for the gels and they booked an acrylic in at the same time with one teacher so she was stretched, I have left to wait whileshe had to print information sheets off for the other person, we had a no show so that lost me half an hour on a course I paid for.
They never sent me all the info for the gels or acrylic and I asked on the day to get the printer wasn't working and I had paid for a paper certificate which to this day and emails later, I still haven't received. I even had to email them for my electronic one.
The lecturer was lovely but her management failed her, I spent a lot of money for these to course and felt they were a waste, on top of that the no show turned up after dinner because she had been told a different time.
So I feel like I wasted my money on these courses, I felt like I paid the money but had to force the information out of them or didn't get the correct information, also they had changed the room round and the lecturer even discussed her concerns on health and safety

Currently doing level 3 make up artistry with the national beauty academy. Really enjoying the course. Sarah is very knowledgeable and experienced. Also very understanding. I'm the only man on the course. Both staff and academy, make me feel welcome on a weekly basis.

I was really nervous on the first day. But the nerves melted away as the day went on.

Currently doing the level 3 makeup course and Sarah is so lovely, really helpful with any questions and if you’re stuck she will thoroughly explain!

Currently doing the level 3 make up artistry course and it’s brilliant, I can’t recommend Sarah enough as a tutor, she’s so patient and we’ve all learned so much already. Would highly recommend if you’re a beginner or looking to expand on your techniques ❤️

I’m currently doing the nail enhancement course and I’m finding it really good. Sarah is my tutor and she’s brilliant and very helpful, all the staff at the beauty academy are lovely.

Currently doing a level 3 makeup artistry course and I am loving it. I am learning new every week and Sarah my tutor is amazing and so supportive. I can't wait to complete this course and see what else I can do at the academy 😁

I really was afraid before starting the nail technology course because English language my second language, I was worried about understanding contents perfectly , Kye is an amazing , she helped me a lot .all staff and colleagues so lovely and friendly.

I would 100% recommend the courses available here. I have done lvl 2 nail tech and classic lashes and I’m currently doing lvl 3 nails. The staff are very friendly and lovely.

I've been on the makeup artisty course for a good few weeks now I've found it very interesting and learned alot at my time here thank you

I’m currently doing the level 3 makeup course and it is brilliant. Very interesting and Emily is so nice and helpful. I look forward to going every week.

I was worried about starting my new adventure of becoming a MUA and though I wouldn't enjoy it. However I am so pleased that I signed up with NBA as I've felt so comfortable, the tutors are amazing and help every step of the way. Will definitely sign up again in the future.

Lovely staff, everyone is so nice and friendly. Loving doing my level 3 makeup course! I enjoy and look forward to every Tuesday.

Currently developing my skills further as a makeup artist with NBA and could not recommend a better provision. Highly skilled tutors and an array of beauty opportunities available; this is definitely somewhere I’ll look at doing further courses in the future.
