The O2 Venue app is honestly awful. It locks you out for no reason, constantly thinks you’re a bot, and won’t even let you reset your password when you need to access your tickets. It’s incredibly str... もっと見る

I went to a Paul Heaton concert…
I went to a Paul Heaton concert recently. Firstly my experience of the O2 staff was mixed. From being professional in their presentation to being abrupt and curt. Definitely room for improvement in customer service. Secondly, the drinks prices are exorbitant, especially considering you are barred from bringing in any drinks. I just refuse to pay those prices. Concert was great though, got upgraded to better seats. Can’t complain about that!
Exploiting the public
Well, I have been to the O2 arena many times, a few times in the suite and a few in the arena seats. Up until now I have tolerated my disappointment and frustration of the O2 as a business.
Let's get this out of the way... the shows I have been to have been great and enjoyable.
Now, about the O2 arena..... the food is diabolical, tasteless , overpriced and tastes as if it has been prepared in the dark. The government bangs on about eating 5 a day and choosing healthy options, but hey the healthiest option is the bottled water. People with medical or diet issue,
be warned.... The choices of food available are limited and frankly unappetizing, not to mention very pricey. Who exactly are these catering companies, have they tasted the crap they serve the public at these ludicrous prices, and who at the top is running this organisation, are they running it in the dark too, all the way down the ranks it feels like people are forced into doing their jobs because some of the staff have a dont care attitude and an air of superiority that they are more privileged than you the patron.
The merchandise on sale are so expensive and not even good replicas of the characters they should be.
This is an iconic place for good rated shows, please read the reviews that have been posted about your establishment and act upon them,
Its is clear that people are paying your prices, so why not inspire, better service, and better experiences for attendees. A must though would be to sack these sub standard caterers and supply real quality options. If this proves too much like hard work , then allow us to bring in our own food, simple.
The event is on Friday next week - I still don't have a hotel!
The event is on Friday next week, I have no details of the hotel stay that was paid for with the package, I don't really even have confirmation that I have a hotel room.
O2 told me to speak to AXS and the Hotel.
AXS state that the O2 is responsible, as they (AXS) only sell the tickets for the promoter, and have nothing to do with packages.
The hotel stated they have no reservations through the O2, AXS, or anyone else for a group booking - which this would be, and I need to speak to O2.
I spoke with O2 again, (all via chat of course) who said "AXS will definitely contact you with the details in good time". I sent them the screenshot of AXS's reply, and have not heard back since.
THis is simply the worst customer service I have had in long time - no way of speaking to a human, no support from the partners, and no one gives a sh* t... I won't be cancelling through them - having seen their T&C's, rather I will contacting my Credit Card company.
After 4 years of fighting cancer we had this bad experience!
After 4 years of fighting cancer, we managed to be present at the Pete Tong & Ibiza Classics event on December 3, 2022 at 02 Arena. We arrived at the entrance E, and decided to leave the coats in the cloakroom. We were asked by a guest relations that there would be a waiting period of 60m to leave the coat. We decided to wait because the rest of the people also decided to do so. After 20 minutes, when we were in front of the counter, that same guest relations decided to close the cloakroom with more than 50% vacancies. He said that it would reopen in 60m. We decided to stay just like the rest of the people. Suddenly that same employee decided to call the security guards who started to force people out. Some decided to complain and call someone responsible, but this did not happen.
I found that same employee and explained my wife's situation to him (she was sick and it was impossible to wear her coat with that temperature inside); and asked if I could go to the IHG hotel to leave the coats (it would take 5 minutes) or if I could buy a superior ticket to have somewhere to leave the coats.
That guest relations said he was going to ask and...he never showed up. He told another that he wanted to file a complaint but I was never allowed to. This is not England or the English I know. I'm going to try to take legal action because it's not understandable that they don't respect a cancer patient and still make fun of the situation. I just wish that ALL those who prevented a solution to this situation, that one day go through the same, and remember this same situation. Perhaps then they will realize that a yellow or blue coat does not allow them to cope with an illness. How many to the 02 Angels? I don't know exactly what they do but... they didn't do anything. We all need each other, everyone... sooner or later. This experience at 02 was the worst experience I've had in terms of concerts and shows. It's a big house but that's about it...
physically abused 67 year old man…
totally horrible as a 67 year old man stood watching a show pushed to the ground by a younger non respectful visitor. Having been abused i held my ground only to be verbally abused and a drink thrown over me when our group of 5 stayed in our spot which we had occupied for 3 hours when someone thought pushing me to the ground again was ok.Never again will i venture to the floor . staff never care or tried to help totally disinterested in customer safety. with this -5 star venue
Horrendous
Horrendous, unorganised expensive never going again.
Spend more time queuing than experiencing what you actually paid good hard earned money to see!
Beers over £8.... £20 for a burger, thats only if you ever get to the front of the queue before they shut shop!
Total let down of what should be an awesome experience.
Not going back to any O2 venue
Show it's self pretty good.
Everything else was awful!
1. The O2 arena app didn't work so had to go to the box office, which was fine but not offering chairs for people with disabilities who had to queue for an hour and a half!
2. The window I waited an hour and 10 mins for shut up on me nearing the front so pushed in another line who were unhappy because we pushed in not wait forever again.
3. Only one access way to my seat! So I was on an end row and had to climb over two rows to get to my seat.
4. Charge an arm and leg for a drink because I needed sugar and the first stand I went to didn't even have regular pepsi.
Utter mess of a venue and totally over priced!
What has happened to the o2 Arena…
What has happened to the o2 Arena and who on earth has taken it over? The change is appalling with over priced food and drinks, beer served in cardboard cups (really?), lazy staff (especially on the Deck), unlocked disabled toilets allowing all to use and letting kids run around in there and then having to stand behind people vaping. Disgraceful place
the disgrace of 02 arena customer service
went to see the harlem globetrotters. great show but ruined by the offence and joke that is the 02 'experience'. tickets to the show was £26. you pay £10 to hand in your bag (every other event charges £2-4). a slice of average pizza is £13 (that's the price of a whole pizza in other places). you are a disgrace to marketing and customer experience. please get in touch if you have any decent honest bone in your body.
Great show , terrible F&B service
Great show (Dave Chapelle and Chris Rock) and the arena always provides a great spectator experience - sound quality, lighting, air quality etc. all fab
I am here to complain about the F&B service. 30 minute queue to get 2 drinks , warm beer served by an absolutely incompetent attendant (poured the beer in a standing glass filling making it frothy but that could be because of the temperature)
No desire to make the process more efficient and many drinks stations out of order so backup at the few working ones. I am going to avoid the overpriced F&B there the next time around
Absolute cesspit
Absolute cesspit. Lost control of the arena during UFC London. People urinating in the aisle, men storming the women's toilets, rampant drug use infront of the scared teenage staff who could do nothing to control what was happening. Visit at your own peril.
Shocking for disabled people!
Absolutely shocking lack of service for a serious problem for disabled people!
Same problem encountered more than once.
Disabled person complains and is told they HAVE TO WRITE in by email, when explained that she CANT WRITE as she’s dyslexic, she was told she would get a phone call……..the call never came! The O2 seriously need to check the Equality Act 2010 as at the moment they are failing this! I’m now helping her seek legal advice.
As ever, a disgusting venue
Went to see Haim. As usual an utterly dreadful experience at the O2. Went to use the toilets in the main area before entering the arena itself and every urinal and toilet was blocked. Went to find someone to tell about it and of course was passed around relentlessly until finally finding a ‘senior’ security guy who told me that if I bought a ticket for a show I can only complain about something inside the area itself. Total attitude on the guy. Miserable staff generally who treat people like cattle pushing them around and behaving as if they’re doing you a favour by letting you pay £70 to go and see a show. Awful venue.
£10 charged for bag drop!
The O2 charged me a staggering £10 at the bag drop. They have implemented a new "safety" policy where any bag over an A4 format will have to be dropped to the bag drop. I have complained online, requesting a £10 voucher, but the O2 has declined my request. This charge is absolutely outrageous as far as the regular customer that I am is concerned, especially in a context where the inflation rate is over 9%. When you've purchased expensive tickets, I'd expect bag drop to be free, or £1 to 3, at the very least. Disgusted
Full price 'PA Goes Free' ticket
My son, who lives with the consequences of a traumatic brain injury wanted to book tickets to see Dave Chapelle and Chris Rock at the O2. The first show was sold out. For the second show there were no longer any access tickets available either through AXS.com, the official ticketing agency, or the O2 accessibility line but it was possible to go on the waiting list to see if anyone with a seat in the disability area cancels. My son does not use a wheelchair and does not have to sit in the disabled area but, due to cognitive issues, has 24 hour support. As the only way he is able to ensure attendance at the show before it sells out, is to also purchase a PA ticket at full price. According to the O2 Accessibility telephone line, this has nothing to do with them and is solely the responsibility of AXS.com. According to the AXS website, even if he had managed to purchase an accessible ticket, he is still compelled to also purchase a full price 'PA Goes Free' ticket then provide proof of PIP to apply for a refund. In my opinion the O2 does not appear to be making reasonable adjustments, is not acting in a supportive way and is not ensuring that the O2 accessible to all.
Second time I’ve visited the o2 with a…
Second time I’ve visited the o2 with a party of 8 and both times I am unable to get a table at most popular restaurants I.e Nando’s and tgi Fridays. Bare in mind there was lots of seating but for some reason - both restaurants were not seating at these tables. Also staff at these restaurants are very blasé and unhelpful, actually quite rude.
Kings of leon Saturday
Kings of leon Saturday, I've been to dozens of concerts and festivals but I've never queued like I did at this venue, both to gain entry and to the bar. Totally appalling and disorganised. Gave up after a hour of queuing to get a drink and left the venue, there were still people queuing to gain entry as we left and the band were on stage playing! Save the effort and go to better organised venues, far better experience, less hassle.
Poor saftey, had to go through entrance…
Poor saftey ,had to go through entrance H and was told i need to go up to 110 to then walk down a very steep set of steps to arrive on the ground using a walking stick through mobility issues and no rails to hold onto, its a accident waiting to happen ,Why on earth do you have to do this i do not know when you are sitting on ground seats and have mobility issues which they could clearly see and as for the show which i paid a lot of money for why did they just not say this is a standing room only show as never seen any of it ,complete dissapoinment ,I will not be putting myself through a horrific journey to get there again, complete waste of time.
Show itself was fantastic but the staff! Not so much.
The show itself was fantastic, however the staff at the O2 are quite possibly some of the rudest, most ignorant and simply dense people I’ve ever come across. They are extremely unhelpful, ask them a question and it’s like you’re speaking to a brick wall with no manners and a can’t be bothered attitude. Seems like they all need training or firing all together.
