Not as expected
This is not the first time I use the proofreading service, unfortunately I was disappointed this time! 1st time was great. I also got a discount code but it doesn't work and I contacted the admin they just ignore me!

Enjoyed the services, but for some reason an hour was not enought to cover all my assignments criteria with the consultant.

We typically recommend 1 hour for planning of one assignment. During this hour, the consultant discusses everything from the title to searching for literature online. We'd recommend booking a second session for your second assignment.

Good general editing, inconsistent in detailed/tailored feedback
I have used this service around 4 times. I find the quality inconsistent. Sometimes feedback is really thorough and other times it is quite vague and not too focused on what I've stated I'd like to get out of it. Overall I benefit from general editing regardless and they are very reliable regarding the timing and that's often why I continue to use the service.

For work that requires more support to enhance, there will be more feedback and more detail. For work that is of a more excellent standard, you may find that there are less comments, as the requirements have been met. It may be the case that one document was stronger than another and so the edits appeared inconsistent.

nothing more than average
Frankly, I expected more tailored feedback. Instead of “taking my cv and tailoring it to the job description” as stated on the page doctor social media accounts, I was given very vague comments and nothing to help my cv stand out. I was told to use buzzwords from the description and add soft and hard skills but the questions I added about my current cv/concerns were not adequately answered. Some comments also contradicted Dr. Amina Yonis’ YouTube videos. This is my second time using the page doctor and I do not feel that the costs align with the quality of help. I feel that this feedback could’ve been written in 5 minutes.
(also some of the editors that are stated to have PhD’s only have masters degrees if that is relevant to you)

Worth. Every. Cent.
I have been using the Page Doctor to assist me in editing my work for my final year at university, including my dissertation. The feedback helped me expand and emphasise important points, improve sentence flow and reconsider elements that might be better off left out. I was hesitant to use the service at first, but after getting my first set of feedback, I don't submit an assessment without it!
