My experience with the Phoenix Community has been great. If a person finds themselves with the APOE4 gene, this is the place to find the right help. From bloodwork tracking and suggestions to studies- expert interviews and suggestions to small group networking- and much more. The only thing holding a person back from helping themselves in this group, is not taking advantage of all the resources. And Kevin is always finding more ways to make this an even more ideal resource. Thanks Kevin!

I am an ApoE4+/+ individual and joined Phoenix more than a year ago. Professionally, I have a strong background in biomedical research, particularly in immunopathology (though there is little overlap with research on neurodegenerative diseases).
From the very beginning, I was deeply impressed by Dr. Kevin Trans’s unwavering commitment to providing well-founded and truly evidence-based information about the possibilities—as well as the limitations—of positively influencing the course of Alzheimer’s disease. Among the many ways Kevin supports the ApoE4+ community, I would like to highlight in particular his Journal Club, in which he discusses the latest findings from the scientific literature on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, and/or treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. His commentary on current scientific publications is truly outstanding, both in terms of the scientific standards he applies and his efforts to provide a balanced assessment of the potential benefits compared to the pitfalls and limitations of new scientific findings.
As both a biomedical researcher and an ApoE4 carrier, I am extremely grateful for Kevin’s initiative and ongoing perseverance in shedding some light on the darkness surrounding this disease.

The Phoenix Community is a very unique group for carriers of the APOE4 gene. It's a space where we are looking for real current strategies to move the needle towards stability, improvement or even reversal of Alzheimer's symptoms. Members range from doctors, scientists, nurses, health coaches, pharmacology, to this with no science backgrounds. It is a goto to learn of others' experiences, or the latest research on things you can do now. Or, you can communicate your ups and downs, fears and success. I can't recommend this group enough. The members show compassion and a willingness to help. Do your self a favor and sign up immediately! The clock is ticking, but you can slow it down.

APOE4 is the scariest thing you will ever hear if you are concerned with brain health, Alzheimer's or longevity. It is not a diagnosis but a threat. This is a wonderful community for APOE4 carriers. You get up to the minute info about how to boost your odds of staying healthy, what food/supplements to try, biomarkers that are especially relevant for APOE4 carriers, clinical trials and research. And of course there is a terrific community of people. There is a lot of hope and as an APOE4 carrier you have agency - particularly if you have good information to act on. I highly recommend.

This has been a community of caring, action, and resilience in the face of a scary gene. There is so much that can be done, and we uncover all of this with clinical trial research and active doctors willing to donate their time to help understand medications that will be coming soon and lifestyle factors. Very PREVENTION focused instead of starting too late.

Kevin Tran’s Phoenix Community is a great platform for like minded people who have an interest in APOE4. He’s constantly coming up with new ideas and new speakers and the platform is improving all the time. Even though there are now hundreds of members, in my experience Kevin is still very accessible and on top of everything.

The Phoenix Community has served as my go-to place for information about APOE4/4. My diet, exercise and sleep regimens are all based on Kevin's site recommendations. The members are welcoming and knowledgeable and we all share our experiences traversing this disease. I highly recommend becoming a member.

Niche community for unlucky folks who happened to be genetically predisposed to alzheimer’s run by a smart and honest guy. I paid for a lifetime membership and feel it has been worth the money to get access to a group of highly motivated individuals suffering with the same predisposition. I’m excited to see where the product evolves as the experiments run within the group start producing actionable insights for how we can live our best lives and protect ourselves against alzheimers.

Phoenix in my opinion is a 5 star company because of it's commitment to publishing the latest peer reviewed research relevant to APOE4 carriers which the Company is doing very well.
Also the Phoenix website is designed to give the APOE4 carrier real time insights into how/if their individual interventions such as a particular supplement is changing their biomarkers relevant to Alzheimer Disease.
Through the optional 'Pod ' feature I have made personal connections to a fellow APOE4 carrier who lives only a few kilometers from me in Queensland, Australia and the support and understanding from this relationship makes APOE4 so much easier to live ( and thrive) with .

A necessary niche

As an APOE4 carrier, I have found it completely unsatisfactory to experience the medical establishment as only wanting to interact with me as a carrier at the point when I am noticing cognitive change.

It is therefore comforting and essential for me to be part of the Phoenix Community where the power of what can be mobilized now, both individually and as a community, is real. It meets a real need for APOE4 carriers to have the opportunity to bring prevention, autonomy, and innovation into our health journeys.

Kevin Tran, the founder also spends his time sourcing the latest trials and speaking with medical professionals who are at the cutting edge of Alzheimers research and prevention. If you have a genetic risk this is your place to go.

The Phoenix Community has exceeded my high expectations as my primary, go-to source for up to date, curated health information! Also, having interactions with other participants who are taking an active role in their health has been a huge boost to my morale and motivation. Additionally, you can upload your supplements and health data and receive valuable insights. I highly recommend this!

I’ve been a member of The Phoenix for over a year, and the biggest value for me is the community and message board. Members discuss the latest APOE4 and Alzheimer’s research, share personal experiences, and compare the protocols and approaches they’re trying. There’s a lot of useful information in those discussions.

There are free communities out there, but I’ve found that Phoenix’s private setting keeps much of the noise out and feels safer for discussing such personal topics. It feels like a community of real people sharing their experiences, with much less concern about bots or internet trolls.

For me, that combination of useful information, shared experience, and a sense of trust makes the membership worthwhile.

The Phoenix group is a wealth of information for someone who carries the Alzheimer's gene. There are interviews with specialists in the field (not just doctors pushing the latest pharmaceuticals). It's a great place to learn more from others' experiences, a place to monitor your progression, for better or worse -- I think it's a really valuable tool.

A Community That Truly Understands

The Phoenix community is something very special for those of us who carry an APOE4 gene.

It’s a place where we all have something important in common. We can openly share how we feel, what strategies we’re using to reduce our risk of Alzheimers, our N=1 experiments, lab results, biomarkers, supplements, successes, setbacks, and everything we’re learning along the way.

Most importantly, it’s a place where you don’t have to explain why this matters so much to you. People understand.

Between the members, researchers, clinicians, and health practitioners who contribute, The Phoenix has become one of the most valuable knowledge-based communities I’ve found anywhere for people who are serious about brain health and prevention.

The Phoenix community is a very informed and supportive group of people interested in protecting their brains for a lifetime of health and good cognition. There are ways to track and optimise supplements and medications and see improvements in bloodwork, but most importantly for me is learning the cutting edge research, how to interpret research results, how to apply drug therapies for me as an individual, and the support of the community itself.
