Highly recommend diving with The Ride - I was nervous about joining a trip solo, but Dom was so welcoming and friendly from the first moment. He took the time to chat with everyone, bringing people into conversations and making sure everyone is included. It was really cool to hang out with people of a similar age and so passionate about travel and diving, and all live such interesting lives.
Everything was well organised, from the introductory WhatsApp chat and interaries, to the dive and boat crews and their briefings.
Overall the atmosphere and group dynamics were amazing for the whole trip, couldn't have made it any better

An absolutely incredible experience!

I honestly cannot recommend Ride Travel enough. From start to finish, this was one of the most amazing diving experiences I’ve had.

Dom is a fantastic guy. He really knows how to interact with everyone, brings people together and makes the whole experience feel special. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a great experience for everyone.

Lundy Island itself was absolutely fantastic, and diving with the seals was something I’ll never forget. It’s one of those experiences that I genuinely think everyone should have at least once in their lifetime.

Everything was really well organised. All the meals were provided, along with some nice drinks, which was a great touch especially when you’re surrounded by people who are just as passionate about diving, travelling and the sea. It makes it really easy to connect with people and share the experience.

The boat crew were brilliant as well. After the dives, they had hot drinks and snacks ready for everyone, which was very welcome and a great way to recover after being in the water.

The dive master was also fantastic extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and made us feel completely safe. The briefing was clear and detailed, with a proper explanation of where we were going, what to expect and how the dive would work. As someone who is still relatively new to diving, that made a huge difference.

Honestly, I cannot complain about anything. Everything was well organised, the people were fantastic, the diving was incredible and the whole atmosphere was brilliant.

If you’re thinking about booking a trip with Ride Travel and you’re not sure whether to do it this is your sign to book it. It is 100% worth the money and the experience.

This was my third liveaboard diving trip in Egypt and it was hands down the best! Everything from start to finish was just fantastic.
It was such an easy and fun trip, with great communication from Dom at The Ride. Everything was all organised to perfection which meant we could all just chill out and enjoy the boat and diving. If you have never dived in Egypt I would 100% recommend it, the fish, reefs and wrecks are second to none.
The group atmosphere was so much and made some great friends over the week! I will definitely be booking this trip again next year!

I’ve just come back from my Red Sea Liveaboard trip with the Ride Travel and wow what an experience it was, it’s almost impossible to put into words how special it was. The best diving with the best people. The value for money is insane considering you get 4x world class dives per day, pretty much unlimited food and awesome accommodation. It’s that good I’m 100% making this an annual occasion for the foreseeable and I can’t wait to travel with these guys again 🤞🏻

What can I say?! Honestly a life changing trip. Everything about it from start to finish is was incredible. It was my first live-aboard - I am a 27 year old solo female traveller - booked it last minute as the trip to Lundy was just so good I just had to jump on. Again - Dom - what a dude - he has thought and considered everything and made the trip super special. Well organised and hassle free. And then the travellers? I’ve literally come back with a new gang of best mates. Everyone got on so well, banter was going from the moment the group chat was set up. And it only got better - I can’t even begin to explain how good the vibes were on the boat. Great food flowing 24/7; tunes were blasting and the diving was top notch!- we squeezed in 21 dives and each one of them was as special as the last. I’ve only been home a week and I am missing my boat family so much - proper holiday blues. If your on the fence about booking something with the ride travel take this review as your big flippping shove to press book as you only live once - and I promise you will not regret it. Big up my 2026 Egypt crew love you all! YALLA YALLA

I honestly can’t recommend The Ride Travel enough.

I joined the very first Red Sea liveaboard in Egypt as a solo traveller, and from the moment I booked, Dom was amazing. He was always on hand to answer questions, put any worries at ease, and made the whole process feel effortless. Once the trip started, he somehow managed to be hilarious, caring, and incredibly professional all at the same time. You can tell how much effort he puts into making sure everyone has the best possible experience, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

The diving was everything I’d hoped for and more. The Red Sea had been on my bucket list since I started diving (October last year 😉), and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Every dive brought something different, and being surrounded by a group of people who were just as excited to get in the water made every day even better. Whether it was sharing stories after a dive or getting excited for the next briefing, the atmosphere was brilliant.

What really made the trip special, though, were the people. I arrived knowing nobody, which was slightly daunting, but within no time it felt like I was travelling with friends I’d known for years. I left with 14 genuinely amazing friends, and that’s something I never expected when I booked. Dom has a real talent for bringing people together, and everyone was made to feel included from day one.

The little things are what I’ll remember most: “PADI says no”, “yalla yalla”, me getting FOMO if I missed anything, mandatory nap time, “ya habibi”, the ridiculously good getting-ready playlist, and the chip seasoning that somehow ended up at breakfast, lunch and dinner! Those inside jokes are what turned a great diving holiday into one of the best trips I’ve ever been on, and they’re the memories that still make me smile now.

If you’re thinking about booking with The Ride Travel, just do it. Whether you’re travelling solo or with friends, you’ll have an unforgettable experience. The diving is incredible, the organisation is seamless, and the people you’ll meet make it even more special.

Where to even start with my first Red Sea Liveaboard with The Ride Travel. As a solo female traveller it can be quite daunting booking a liveaboard, not knowing who would be on board with you. With The Ride Travel there was nothing to worry about, Dom was incredibly open and helpful with my concerns about the mix of the group as not wanting to join a trip being the only female. Everyone came in with good vibes, incredible energy and all contributed to possibly the best and most memorable week of my life. I went in as a stranger, but left with new friendships that could last a lifetime. I cannot wait to book another trip with Dom at The Ride Travel - Egypt 2027 we’re coming for you!

This was my first solo/organised group trip, completely out of my comfort zone, but honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had.

The diving was amazing, as always in Egypt. The boat was great, and the guides brought unbeatable energy and good vibes every single day.

But diving aside, the group was what really made it. Fifteen people, mostly complete strangers, and somehow it just worked better than anyone could have expected. Laughs, late-night conversations, jokes, music, great food, and a few drinks. Just adults having fun together like kids again—a proper escape from normality.

Fourteen new friends, and I'll genuinely miss every single one of you until the next trip.

Dom, you should be incredibly proud of what you've created. I'm certain you'll have 14 loyal customers following you around for the next 20 years now, so good luck with that!

Where to start… this was my first live about diving trip to the Red Sea, and I can whole heartedly say it has been the most life changing experience! The memories, the friends the world class view and top tier service from start to finish! From day one of booking Dom had been an absolute pleasure to deal with, such a respectful, knowledgable and friendly fella! Proud to call him my friend now! This trip was out of this world the service on the boat was second to none! Handmade fresh meals 3 times a day with endless hand made snacks and drinks between the dives! The staff couldn’t do enough for you helping you in and out of all your gear even having a good laugh with you when you forgot to undo your tank safety strap so you get stuck to your seat!
On the topic of laughing be prepared to loose your voice from the singing and laughing you will be doing every day between dives.

Now to the main part. The diving. All the gear was very well kept perfect working order so you never felt unsafe or worried, Just relax and get underwater! The marine life was on another level, from millions of different fish on every dive to swimming with dolphins, turtles, barracuda, sharks, pufferfish, rays and eels. The sights were never ending.

If you’re on the fence about doing a ride live aboard, DO IT! I promise you will not regret it. I cannot express the feeling the trip has given me. All I can say is between the views, people and memories it’s healed something inside of me that nothing else on this planet has come close to doing!

Just finished the first ever Red Sea liveaboard and it didn’t disappoint. The group was extremely friendly and everyone got to know each other very quickly. The diving was insane and the boat experience was everything you could have wanted. Would 100% go again!

I had an incredible time on this Red Sea liveaboard with the Ride Travel and would recommend it to any scuba diver. Easily a 5/5 experience!

I travelled as a solo female, and from the moment the trip started I felt really welcomed. If you’re thinking about booking solo, I’d highly recommend it. The Ride Travel did a great job of creating such a friendly atmosphere, and by the end of the week it genuinely felt like diving with friends. The WhatsApp group before the trip was a great idea and made it easy to get chatting beforehand. The vibes on the boat were brilliant and there was always plenty of laughs.

Everything was so well organised from start to finish. Having airport taxi transfers included made arrival completely stress-free, and the whole week ran so smoothly thanks to all the planning beforehand.

The boat itself was great. The cabins were comfortable, each with their own ensuite bathroom, and there was plenty of space to relax between dives. The crew kept the boat spotless all week, and after every dive they were there the second you got out of the water with refreshments, helping you stow your equipment, changing tanks, and making sure everything was set up and ready for your next dive. It made the whole experience so easy and relaxing. The rental dive equipment was also in excellent condition and I also had the opportunity to complete my PADI nitrox course on board which was a great addition.

The food was fantastic every day, with a great variety of meals each night buffet style. We also had a few special nights where we’d eat outside or have a 3 course meal or bbq so there was always something to look forward to. There was something for everyone, including vegetarians and vegans, and sitting down to eat together after diving was always good craic.

The dive masters and crew were outstanding. Every dive was professionally briefed beforehand so everyone knew exactly what to expect. For the night dives, the dive masters were happy to let us dive unguided where appropriate after giving thorough briefings. They struck the perfect balance between professionalism and fun. Safety was always the priority, but there was never a dull moment, with loads of laughs and plenty of inside jokes throughout the week (“PADI says no!” definitely became one of them!). They made every dive enjoyable and created such a relaxed atmosphere.

A special mention has to go to Dom, who organised the trip. He was brilliant from start to finish, always checking in on everyone, making sure people were included and having a good time. The WhatsApp group beforehand, along with all the tips and information before the trip, meant everything was so well organised and stress-free.

The diving itself was unbelievable. We were doing up to four dives a day and every dive site had something unique to offer. We explored wrecks, ravines, caves, coral gardens and reefs, so every dive felt different from the last. The marine life was incredible too—we saw dolphins, sharks, eels, octopus, huge schools of fish and so much more. It was honestly an unforgettable week underwater.

Overall, this was an amazing trip with an incredible group of people, fantastic staff and world-class diving. I came away with great memories, plenty of laughs and new friends. I’d happily travel with the Ride Travel again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a Red Sea liveaboard!

As a solo traveller I was a little nervous beforehand but from the moment I booked Dom made everything so easy. He’s one of the best organisers I’ve ever come across. He’s friendly, professional, incredibly accommodating and always happy to help. If you’re thinking about booking a solo diving trip but have any doubts speak to Dom. He has a real talent for bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome.

The diving itself was simply out of this world. We experienced some of the most incredible marine life I’ve ever seen. Every day brought something new and the memories made underwater and above water will stay with me forever. I was a nervous diver as I was very inexperienced but everyone helped me develop and grow into a confident diver by the end of the week!!

What made the trip even more special was the people. I met the most amazing group of divers and laughed more than I have in a long time. I’ve had the most fun I’ve ever had on a solo travel adventure. It didn’t feel like a group of strangers it felt like travelling with friends by day 2!

The experience was so good that I’m already looking into booking two more trips with Dom for next year and I genuinely can’t wait to do it all again!

Amazing scuba trip in Lundy with The Ride. Still cant believe how many seals we saw, and how playful they were with us. Cannot recommend The Ride, or Dom the host, more. It was a fantastic couple of days with a great group of people, and got some great pics. Highly recommended and hope to come on more trips soon!

It’s really hard to recreate the feeling of travelling when you’re close to home, and even harder to get a group of 10 near strangers to gel in 48 hours but somehow Dom made it look easy. Great trip, great diving, could not recommend more 🫶🏽🫶🏽

What a Ride!!

I'd been to Thailand once before and fell in love with the place, but when I was trying to plan my next trip there is just so much to see and do it's impossible to even know where to start!

When I found The Ride Travel it was pretty clear that they had put together the best itinerary you could imagine. It had everything I was looking for and more!

The trip itself was awesome, Dom and the local tour guides made everything easy and stress free which made even the heaviest travel days a complete breeze.

In just two weeks I made new mates and some lifelong memories, I'm already looking forward to seeing them again on our next The Ride Travel tour!!

This trip was great! It was super organised from beginning to end with activities but also free time to explore solo if you wanted too. Everyone on the trip was lovely company and had a good laugh! Would 100% recommend.

Koh Tao, a stunning island paradise with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. Snorkeling along the coral reefs was like swimming in an aquarium

The highlight of the trip, though, had to be the night we spent in floating bungalows on a serene lake in the heart of the rainforest. Waking up to mist rising off the water and the sounds of nature all around was pure magic. It felt like we were completely off grid. Kayaking and swimming right from our doorstep was the perfect way to unwind.

And then—the rainforest hike with wild monkeys! Class!

Everything was well-organized, and the guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about sharing the beauty of Thailand. Whether you’re into snorkeling, jungle exploration, or just relaxing in nature, this tour has it all.

10/10 would recommend!
