Meine Erfahrung mit ThreeBestRated war leider sehr enttäuschend.

Ich habe den Betreiber mehrfach auf aus meiner Sicht fehlerhafte bzw. nicht nachvollziehbare Bewertungen meines Unternehmens hingewiesen. Zunächst wurden einzelne Bewertungskriterien (Öffnungszeiten) angepasst. Anschließend wurde jedoch die Bewertung meiner "Erfahrung" reduziert, ohne dass mir erklärt wurde, auf welchen objektiven Kriterien diese Einstufung basiert.

Genau hier sehe ich das größte Problem: Das Bewertungssystem ist für mich nicht transparent. Es wird nicht nachvollziehbar erläutert, wie die einzelnen Punkte zustande kommen oder weshalb Unternehmen unterschiedlich bewertet werden. Dadurch entsteht aus meiner Sicht ein irreführender Eindruck gegenüber potenziellen Kunden.

Auch die Preisvergleiche halte ich für problematisch. Mein Unternehmen weist transparente Komplettpreise aus, in denen beispielsweise Anfahrtskosten bereits enthalten sind. Andere Anbieter berechnen zusätzliche Kosten wie Anfahrtsgebühren oder weitere Zuschläge. Diese Unterschiede werden aus meiner Sicht im Vergleich nicht ausreichend berücksichtigt, sodass Preisvergleiche nur eingeschränkt aussagekräftig sind.

Ich hätte mir eine nachvollziehbare Erklärung der Bewertungskriterien und mehr Transparenz gewünscht. Stattdessen wurden Änderungen vorgenommen, ohne die zugrunde liegende Bewertungslogik offenzulegen. Aus diesem Grund habe ich die Entfernung meines Unternehmenseintrags beantragt.

Nach den öffentlich verfügbaren Informationen bleiben wesentliche Aspekte Ihres Bewertungssystems intransparent:

Es wird nicht offengelegt, wie die einzelnen 50 Kriterien gewichtet werden.
Es existiert kein veröffentlichtes Bewertungsschema oder eine nachvollziehbare Berechnungsmethode.
Es ist nicht ersichtlich, wie aus den einzelnen Kriterien das sogenannte "TBR Inspection Score" und die endgültige Rangfolge entstehen.
Das von Ihnen erwähnte "Review Team" bzw. die "trained business analysts" werden nicht näher beschrieben. Weder deren fachliche Qualifikation noch deren Unabhängigkeit oder Arbeitsweise werden offengelegt.
Es bleibt unklar, wie subjektive Kriterien wie "Vertrauen", "Exzellenz", "Professionalität", "Website-Qualität" oder "Interaktionsqualität" objektiv bewertet und standardisiert werden.
Ebenso ist nicht ersichtlich, wie sichergestellt wird, dass verschiedene Analysten anhand derselben Daten zu identischen Ergebnissen gelangen.

Ihre Beschreibung beantwortet somit lediglich die Frage "Was wird betrachtet?", nicht jedoch die entscheidende Frage "Wie wird daraus eine objektive und nachvollziehbare Bewertung berechnet?"

Darüber hinaus erschließt sich nicht, weshalb einzelne Kriterien wie ein aktueller Copyright-Hinweis auf der Website, ein bestimmtes Follower-Verhältnis in sozialen Medien, das Vorhandensein eines Live-Chats oder mehrere Unternehmensstandorte überhaupt einen messbaren Einfluss darauf haben sollen, ob ein Unternehmen zu den "drei besten" seiner Branche zählt. Ohne Kenntnis der Gewichtung lässt sich nicht beurteilen, ob tatsächlich die Qualität der Dienstleistung oder vielmehr die Qualität der Außendarstellung bewertet wird.

Ohne diese Informationen ist Ihre "50-Point Inspection" für Außenstehende weder nachvollziehbar noch unabhängig überprüfbar. Die Bezeichnung vermittelt den Eindruck eines objektiven, standardisierten und transparenten Bewertungsverfahrens, ohne dass die zugrunde liegende Methodik offengelegt wird.

We have had a wonderful experience with ThreeBestRated for over seven years. Melinda is wonderfully attentive, kind, and has been pleasant to work with throughout the years. We’re honored to have made the list again for 2026.

As a consumer, I like to see what companies make the list for various industries throughout Huntington Beach and Orange County as I know they do their due diligence when selecting the best.

Habe eine Mail über die Plattform TBR an einen Dienstleister gesendet. Die Mail ist nach einer Woche noch nicht bei dem Adressaten angekommen. Sehr merkwürdig.

This site is better than Google reviews for some areas/business types for sure, mark my words. Google reviews are very susceptible to Marketing Teams, which can post numerous (hundreds/thousands) of FAKE 5-Star Google reviews for any business that pays them. Google did not/cannot stop this, sadly. So if people rely on Google reviews, beware. Google reviews used to be good, until Marketing teams found the loophole and exploited it. Funny, because Google is usually good at catching on to things that may jeaopardize its relevance and integrity, but seriously dropped the ball on this from at least around year 2018-2026.

Support is always responsive to requests for badges

Following a terrible experience with a Dry Cleaning business that was recommended on the ThreeBestRated website, I left a review for the Dry Cleaners giving them a one-star rating.

ThreeBestRated published my review incorrectly showing me as awarding the Dry Cleaning firm three-stars instead.

Following my informing them of the error they promised to update my review to show only one-star, but said there are some technical challenges which make it difficult for them to change a star rating(!?).

Despite several follow-up emails and several weeks time elapsing they still haven’t amended my review, and still say they are having technical difficulties in trying to do so.

A professional review website that can’t even update a review correctly and in a timely manner - deserves only one star in my opinion.

I’ll happily update my review of ThreeBestRated and improve their star rating if they ever get around to updating my dry cleaner review correctly……..

Changed my rating of this company to 2 stars as they have now managed to correctly change my review of a business they promote on their website.

Threebestrated don’t deserve any more than 2 stars though (if that really) as even when I proved to them that their recomendation for a dry cleaning business (Smart Image Dry Cleaners, Norwich) has falsely advertised themselves as being a member of a professional dry-cleaning guild, they still continued to promote that business (even whilst claiming to me in email that that they take such false advertising very seriously 🤣).

Only posts positive reviews for those that are terrible.
