Great customer service
It actually started with a mistake on my order - one of the items was missing from the package when I got it. I contacted them through their online contact form. I got a very prompt reply from Veronika who apologised and said she would ship a replacement item asap. I received my item just a few days later. Mistakes do happen but when you get such great customer service all is easily forgiven.

Product was well packaged
Product was well packaged, arrived on time, undamaged. Townsend Music kept me informed of the delivery schedule, I have order from Townsend Music before and have never been disappointed with them. They also have a Sale site with had a large variety of products at reasonable prices.

THEY DELETE YOUR ORDER AND KEEP YOUR MONEY
Granted I don't buy from here every week or every month,maybe not every year but that is no reason to steal from me which this is. However it is one of the outlets recommended by a few of the Singer/Bands that I buy most often.
I myself have recommended this place but no longer.
20th Feb' 2026 - paid £168.00 for an LP Boxed Set
1st April 2026 - paid £54.99 for a CD Boxed Set
Both these were delivered in good time with no issues.
However I had paid £51.50 for a collectors set LP,CD,DVD etc on 19th March.
Nothing was delivered, checking my account there was no record of the order,checking my E:Mail there was no confirmation E:Mail. I checked Paypal and the evidence that the money had been paid to them was clear.
I submitted a report to Paypal and I was duly refunded. Before the refund had cleared Townsend were able to get Paypal to reverse the refund leaving me £51.50 out of pocket. No reason was given.
I obviously have the Paypal transaction details but as Townsend did not acknowledge the order or the payment I have no order number. How I can place an order from my long standing account with Townsend and it just vanish is a mystery. How they can then deny getting the Paypal payment when my account proves otherwise and theirs should also and just keep my money is nothing less than criminal.
SO LAST TIME I WILL BUY FROM THIS PLACE . THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY AND DELETE ORDERS.
UPDATE :- 20th May .....I do not have several accounts I have only ever had one account with Townsend . The same account ,email address,delivery address etc from which I ordered the Poison Girls and Queen boxed sets . Paypal refunded me but Townsend has been able to reverse that. It is no longer possible to contact Paypal other than to report purchase issues. My Townsend account is as it always has been. I have logged into the account today and whilst the poison girls and queen orders show the kraftwerk order isn't. If they are claiming to have sent my order where is the Tracking Number ?. TOWNSEND CANNOT BE CONTACTED WITHOUT AN ORDER NUMBER WHICH I DO NOT HAVE . I HAVE PROOF OF THE PAYMENT BEING MADE TO TOWNSEND VIA PAYPAL BUT CANNOT SEND SCREEN SHOTS WITHOUT AN ORDER NUMBER WHICH I DO NOT HAVE.

Thanks for leaving your feedback here, although we don't feel this to be a true reflection of the shopping experience with us.
We do not delete orders, your orders are all showing in your accounts (you have several accounts under different email addresses), each order placed is in the account of the email used on checkout. The order is still showing on that account.
You emailed our Customer Service Team, and our team informed you of which email address was used during the checkout process so you can log into that account and see the order information, but no reply was received from you following our response.
A PayPal case was opened, and a refund was issued. It is not physically possible for us to take the money back from your PayPal account. We issued a refund as you requested on that case, those funds were sent back to you and have not been returned to us.
Following your review, our Head of Customer Service has tried to call you and also emailed you on 2 of your email addresses you have with us, but sadly no reply has yet been received.
We strongly urge you to respond to our Head of Customer Service's emails to ensure there is no misunderstanding relating to your purchase.

Fast delivery, excellent service, perfect packaging
Nice Company I just bought 2 special editions of Half-Life: Alyx, but one item was missing in delivery.
So I contacted the service and the next morning I got a
respond and they send the missing one with prio delivery
very fast and friendly reaction.
Keep up that great work.
Both editions are in perfect shape.
well packed as you need it for a collector's edition
5/5, will buy again.

Not the greatest.
Orderd some stuff on the site and after a week or so I cancelled it. Maybe advertise stuff which you already have in stock?????? Ordered from other sites and was here next day!

Feeder LP - RSD
Quick delivery and overall good service as normal from Townsend but the packaging was poor on this occasion with the record able to move within the packaging resulting in splits on 3 of the 4 sides of the plastic sleeve of the picture disc
UPDATE (30/4)- Great response from Townsend - new record well packaged and safely received already - thank you for your excellent customer service
