Fortunately, we have not had to make a claim at any time. TopDog Insurance offers us everything we need in terms of cover at a very competitive price each year. There are plenty of options to choose from and any minor health issues are dealt with suitably.

So far only had a quote and a policy. Acid test will come of I have to make s claim.
Cant comment further at this stage.

All has been relatively well priced and easy to attain.

I've been with top dog a number of years very pleased with them having come to my aid when I had a minor issue when on holiday in the US a few years ago. I would have no issue with recommending them

I took out insurance and paid for the extra cover for covid .... jet 2 have cancelled my holiday and the insurance will only refund 50% of the premium paid . Disgusting service we can’t go through no fault of

Our policy was taken out
pre covid.

Due to covid i moved our date.

However due to lockdown we cannot travel again. I rang to change the date again and was told that due to the fact we had now also changed the destination you required an extra premium of over £500. Not willing to pay this as our policy was unused asked for a refund. I was told i could not have a full refund. From a policy the cost £79 they were only willing to give me £14.

Very pleased with the response and service after our apartment in Tenerife was broken into and our money and belongings stolen. We had no hesitation in continuing to insure with Topdog.

Wanted to discuss the policy I had taken out, but unable to speak with anyone. Completed their web "Contact Us" form still no response.

My holiday was cancelled due to covid restrictions and have tryed to contact topdog via email with no reply to ask for policy to hold or get a refund no answer at all been trying for weeks now so have no choice but to put bad review sorry.

Took out cover with Topdog travel insurance for our trip to Lapland, which was cancelled due to Covid. Asked to change the date to next year, to our new travel date, but because the insurance was taken out in September, they said the insurance had to be booked within 12 months of the date of booking, & the Terms & conditions meant there was no refund either. (Thank you for taking my money top dog insurance). Really poor service that they would not change the rules due to Covid, when so many companies are having to bend because of the pandemic. Very poor service!

My insurance for Dec 2019-2020 included for a 36 night cruise for period 3 Jan-7 Feb 2010 which accounted for that year's premium increase, yet the cover from Dec 2020-Dec 2021 went up quite considerably even though it wasn't for an extended period.

Very easy process. all on line despite our age( over 65).Appreciated 15% discount as previous customer.

Renewal is always easy with Top Dog and having purchased the additional Platinum cover which included Coronavirus cover we were able to travel to Dubai confidently. Having talked to others at our hotel, many had struggled to get insurance cover at all.
Also early in the year I was poorly on holiday and had to have medical treatment abroad. It was stress free putting in a claim with Top Dog and they settled the claim swiftly. I recommended them to friends we made in Dubai.

This is the first time that I have used this company for Travel Insurance. We had flights booked to the Canary Islands in August. We had to cancel the flights (not COVID related) and made a claim on 22 August and completed all the forms and information that the claims department needed. It's now 28 October and we have heard nothing from them, and after contacting them they keep saying that they are waiting for more information. Complete waste of time, take your money and forget you.
