We loved the whole experience of the hotel. They provided excellent service, delicious variety for breakfast, and a home ambiance. They are located within walking distance of many restaurants.

Our tour guide, Yuki, was helpful and was accommodating to our family and the rest of the group. He provided local insights for the touristy parts of Tokyo. Prepare for long walks and navigating the subway system.

The tour guide, Yuki,was very enthusiastic and made sure that we understood the history of the area and the professions as well as the meaning behind certain signs. He made it clear the differences between geishas and those in training. It was a memorable tour. I would have liked to have done this tour in the daytime and for a bit longer.
Other tour companies had guides that were disrespectful and loud right under the windows of the geishas in training’s houses. I was proud of our guide for reminding rude guides of the respect they should be showing in that area.

Anna the tour guide was wonderful, considerate, funny, and engaging.

Mike was great, the Shrine and Temple were amazing. The Nara Deer Park was quite the experience. The deer were a bit aggressive and while trying to "rescue" my daughter for the mob of deer surrounding her while nipping/biting her, the deer managed to pull and nip around at my bag knocking my wallet out. I was too distracted to notice at first.
Spent the rest of the part of the excursion reporting the loss to the Police Dept.
Thankfully by the time we arrived back at our hotel it had been found, forwarded, and waiting at the hotel.

Extremely organised with a WhatsApp message sent the day before informing us of our tour guides. Very useful idea. Whole tour was exceptional due to our guide Kenzo!

The hotel was generally very good with helpful staff who spoke English. The room, although small, was well fitted and clean with everything you might need for a few days' stay. Breakfast was boxed but surprisingly good and if you like manga, this is the place for you - there is a large library in the lobby. My only criticism would be regarding it's location - it is a 35 minute walk from the railway station which is where all of our booked tours started from so consequently taxis became a fairly expensive requirement.

The planning of our tour of Japan, adding extra days to our stay and changing the city where the tour would end were all handled expertly by Yalia. Some of the excursions were not so professional, our trip to Mount Fuji was a complete disaster and another crammed in so many locations into a bus tour of Kyoto that we spent more time on the bus and walking than actually taking in the sights. Both hotels in Tokyo were good value for money with helpful staff especially the Mitsui Garden Hotel in Ginza Gochome, the hotel in Kyoto just felt cheap in comparison. We had a short time in which to get a taste of Japan and did not want the hassle of booking hotels and excursions and this tour did give us that but when we had problems there was definitely no real time support to call on with texts and messages being answered hours after they were sent and an emergency number that was not manned 24/7.

Mary was an excellent guide! Her academic background and world-wide experience of culture made her insights particularly insightful. She was respectful of all, personable, and generous. The best tour I’ve ever experienced .

Our tour guide was Seiichi-San! We got lost when we were trying to find the meeting spot. He called me through what’s app and waited. So definitely download WhatsApp so it’s easier to contact the guides, just in case.
We started at Tokyo station, he gave us the history of it and then to the imperial palace and then entered the subway. He bought our tickets and lead the way! It’s really confusing so I’m glad he was there. First stop was asakusa for the view and then had free time to shop before lunch. We only had 30 mins so we’re definitely going back! Then we ate lunch at a sushi spot that’s legit. And then the adventure continued. We went to Harajuku for the shrine and then last stop was shibuya crossing.
Overall the experience was 10/10, definitely recommend booking this trip. It was literally the whole day and ended around 5 pm so got dinner right after in Tokyo. Seiichi-San was very knowledgeable about all the stops and even answered all the questions.

Seiichi is a great guide, very knowledgeable and patient. We went to the major spots in Tokyo and was lucky enough to see the royal family come out of the palace.

This hotel has an excellent spot. Everything is at a glance. I love it. For sure I highly recommend it.

Our knowledgeable and native English speaking guide from the Hungry Osaka Tours walking tour was the best guide of our trip. We learned about Osaka history, culture, food and popular trends. He was personable, took pictures for our group and even helped serve our lunch. Recommend taking this tour if you want to explore the city and fall in love with its people and culture.

Friendly staff, newer facility, quiet street, easy public transit access and walking distance to a TON of good dining spots and popular shopping areas. Beware, rooms are very tight.

The Nara & Kyoto day trip was very rushed. We weren’t able to see all the sights at each destination because we had to be back on the bus very quickly. The bamboo forest was a small loop, not a large area at all. The tour guide was great, very energetic, but there was a lot of rushing and running from one location to the other. It didn’t help that it was pouring rain that day. It was also a large group of 49 people so difficult to coral and keep on time.

We were able to sample a large variety of local foods that were delicious! The guide Andy was great! Very funny but informative too!

Julie was amazing. She provided us with lots of historic information without being too overwhelming. She was very interactive with each and every single person in the group which made it such a great experience. Would def do a tour with her again

Nice clean hotel in the heart of the night life.

Everyone (including booking staff) were just superb to deal with. They were friendly, helpful and honest in every way. Tour guides were very professional and helpful even for questions outside the tour. Hotels were modern and very well located. All in all, a super experience
