We had an absolutely extraordinary experience with Tour of Sicily planning our custom trip to Sicily. Right from the initial contact, it was clear that we were in the hands of true professionals who genuinely care about creating something special and personal, not just a standard itinerary. What impressed us most was how carefully they listened - not only to what we wanted out of the trip, but also to the details that really matter when traveling as a group. They took everyone’s preferences and needs into account, including dietary requirements, and even thoughtful considerations like making sure the drivers were especially careful because one member of our group tends to get carsick. The itinerary was a perfect balance of exactly what we asked for and experiences we never would have thought of ourselves - and those unexpected additions ended up being some of the highlights of the entire trip. Every detail was flawlessly executed - the hotels, transportation, guides, tours, activities, pacing, and the many little touches that made each day feel seamless and stress-free. We visited historical sites, sipped wine at wineries, enjoyed food walking tours, had an incredible cooking class, relaxed on a sail boat at sunset, and even trekked up to the north crater of Mt. Etna (and “skied” down her slopes). On a personal note, as the person who felt a lot of responsibility for organizing this trip for our group, I can honestly say that working with this travel agency completely allayed my fears and anxiety. They made the entire process easy and reassuring - and they delivered far beyond what I hoped for. I am genuinely grateful for the thought, care, and professionalism that went into this trip. It exceeded our expectations in every way and created memories we will treasure for a lifetime. If you are considering a custom trip to Italy, I cannot recommend this team highly enough. They don’t just plan trips - they craft unforgettable experiences.

A small group tour but we were the only two people so it was a private tour. The drivers and guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable. We had a good amount of time to explore on our own. We had a very time on a beautiful island with great food, wine and sites. The staff of Tour of Sicily were very responsive to us when we had one minor issue that needed to be resolved.

Tour of Sicily listened to what we wanted and planned a 7-day trip that exactly met our needs. Their drivers Francesco, Mikelle, and Angelo were superb, added information about their country and got us around safely. Claudio, our guide in Palermo, is an art historian, an excellent contribution in Monreale. All were good at their jobs, personable, and added immensely to our experience. Alessandra and colleagues planned an enjoyable trip that minimized time in the car, provided us with excellent experiences, and also sufficient free time. The hotel choices were good, location convenient, and each served excellent food. A highlight of the trip was tracing our ancestry in a small town and a village. Francesco talked to the local officials who graciously opened their birth registries to us and even provided a certified copy of a birth record from 1897. We could not have done that without him, and he was so gracious that the local police officer took us out for coffee and thanked us for coming to his village. We were very happy with all aspects of our trip and we highly recommend Tour of Sicily.

Can highly recommend Tour of Sicily. Valeria and her team went above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute travel plans to Sicily in September for myself and my 83-year-old father. We were on a 4 week trip of Turkey, Italy and Greece and had managed to confirm accommodation for 4 days in Sicily and needed assistance with touring. Valeria managed our expectations brilliantly, given the challenges of securing arrangements during high season, and still delivered a comprehensive and well-organised itinerary including a buggy for my father to get around Agrigento. We could access our itinerary via their easy-to-use app or as a pdf. From our arrival in Palermo to our departure from Catania—they ensured we made the most of our time. A private half-day tour of Palermo and Monreale was arranged with an excellent local guide, Francesca, who was both knowledgeable and engaging. Our driver, Stefanos, accompanied us throughout the four days, including visits to Marsala, Agrigento, and Taormina. He was a genuinely lovely person—professional, kind, and wonderfully attentive to my father’s needs. His care and understanding made the trip smooth and very enjoyable. They also organised a private car transfer from Taormina to Catania airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Sicily in the short time we had. Thanks again for everything.

We did a wonderful private 11 day wine, food and art tour of Sicily through "Tour of Sicily" with my spouse and a friend. This was our first trip to Sicily which started in Palermo included visits to several other towns, vineyards and UNESCO sites including Erice, Marsala, Siracusa. Agrigento, Valley of the Temples Noto, Ragusa, Mt. Etna Taormina and more. The drivers and local tour guides were prompt, very professional and knowledgeable and the hotels were excellent. The guides ensured we learned about the many local treats of each area and were extra courteous in ensuring my spouse using a cane cut get around easily. Thanks to Valeria in helping us to select this superb and informative tour.

We had a private 10 day tour from Palermo to Taormina organized by "Tour of Sicily". It was very well organized and all the guides and drivers arrived on time and were very knowledgeable. The hotels were great and in excellent locations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend "Tour of Sicily" to anyone wanting a well organized and comprehensive tour of Sicily.

We just got back from Sicily and used tour of Sicily for many tours and Transportation needs. We were a family group of seven. We couldn’t have been more happy with their service. They were so professional, they did a great job communicating with us each day and their cars were very nice and comfortable. One Driver, I would like to highlight that we had three days in Palermo, Cefalù, Castelbuono, Campoforito, Agrigento then ultimately dropping us off at Taoromina. His name is Angelo and he actually became part of our family after the first day and he definitely enhanced our experience. We were all in tears when he dropped us off.

What more can I say? A perfectly designed tour.
We booked a private 12 day tour of Sicily and it was perfectly planned for us. There were 7 days of activities, so enough free time.
From the perfect hotel locations to the driver to the guides, everything was superb.
The timing was perfect and lucky for us only 1hr of rain for the whole 12 days.
We did Palermo, Cefalu, Syracuse and Taormina.
Will use this travel agent in a heartbeat!

The best tour I have ever experienced in the best place I have ever been.
This was actually an 11 day customized small group tour (2-7 persons). Because it was off season, it was a private tour. Valeria customized this tour via a face call months before. If I was rating this tour on a scale of 1-100 I would rate it a 200. The tour exceeded any and all expectations we had. I thought originally it was a little pricy, but now I will say it was worth every cent. Our driver, Michele, became a personal friend and we will get together when we return. He was knowledgeable, punctual, and a joy to be with. Nothing I can think to say will give the praise he deserves. All the guides were wonderful, as was every excursion. The hotels were great, with the last two, in Taormina and Móndelo, were an example of saving the best for last. The breakfasts in each hotel put breakfasts in the U.S. hotels to shame. The lunches that were included were also excellent. And the island, what can I say about Sicily? Sicily is a magical place where the land meets the sky, the food is delicious, and the people are warm and friendly. We will definitely return in the future and are already talking about our next trip there. I have a fair amount of travel under my belt, but I have never been to a place I loved as much.

Tour of Sicily/Go Italy Tours made our time in Sicily so special. The staff of drivers and tour guides were the best and we enjoyed the time we spent with every one of them. The places we visited and the thought that went into timing the excursions could not have been better. What a wonderful adventure on the island of Sicily! Every tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The accomodations were first class and the the sites we visited were amazing!

From booking to the actual tour to follow-up, the entire process was excellent. Our guide, Francesco - "Call me Frank!" was so fun, smart, kind and helpful. He arrived 30 minutes before the appointed time in Siracusa to take us to the Valley of the Temples. He was not only an efficient and safe driver, he was thoughtful about offering to stop for bathroom breaks or snacks, he helped us present our tickets to get into the Valley of the Temples, and he took us to the perfect local place for a quick lunch - just what we wanted. We learned a ton about Sicily from him. He was fantastic. Cannot recommend booking with Tour of Sicily enough!

Tour of Sicily put together a great 9 day tour for us. We started in Palermo and ended in Taormina and everything ran like clockwork. Great guides who were knowledgeable, personable and punctual. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We had a fabulous experience. My wife and I are not seasoned travelers and have some concerns regarding travel abroad. We set up a personalized private tour. Every step of the process was handled professionally and all of our questions were answered. Having a tour company headquartered in the country was amazing and such a comfort. We had a wonderful tour of Italy with your company. I was especially impressed with the immaculate clean cars, drivers & guides you provided. They were all very good and always on time and so polite. It was a pleasure to be in their company and care. We loved the drives and the beautiful countryside of Sicily. But please a thank you to all the drivers/guides.

I think one of the highlights for me personally was the Cooking class and dinner in Palermo …again gracious hosts and fun. It was a wonderful way to start our holiday. Agrigento and the Valley of Temples was amazing to see and another highlight. With regard the hotels I enjoyed especially the hotel in Saracusa ( Approdo delle Sirene) A lovely little hotel, pretty location and delightful manager. Also the hotel in Taormina Villa Diodoro was great and what a superb view!

It was really a wonderful week for myself and two friends and I know we all thought it was special so ‘thank you’ to you and your team for your work and efforts for this to be a great vacation. I am very happy to provide any kind of reference and please do use any of my comments.

We had a great day sailing choosing destination after the weather. The crew was superfriendly and competent as well as great cooks. The lunch was superb. We sailed, swam in the warm water, ate and relaxed for a full day. Would do it again and highly recommend the trip.
The travel agency also performed perfectly. Quick responses and very friendly and helpful.

They have Impeccable attention to detail and even helped us transfer to the Port of Milazzo for our DIY second week in the Aeolian Island of Lipari. When we encountered weather on the island of Lipari Valeria's colleague Michela ensured we would have a place to stay and that every detail of our trip went smoothly on the ground when we arrived.
