I really appreciated the Royal Mail tracking information too!

AVOID if you can. We ordered a CD to coincide with a concert. The order was made in May 2020 and the CD was delayed for its release. We have not received it and when I queried where it was they have told me they are 'sorry but it is after six months from the date it was sent and therefore they cannot refund or replace'. How much money are they grabbing from genuine fans? Absolute waste of time and got nothing to show for it. There has been a pandemic and they think they can hide behind their silly little games.

Still awaiting my order placed on 2nd December, had no warning about it not being in stock before I purchased and you can actually still order and pay without knowing this…. Wonder when it will arrive?!

I had an order (vinyl) that was damaged: I simply have send an e-mail and they send me a new copy (to Belgium) without hesitation! Received today in perfect condition. Super service!!

ordered the Children in Need special "Got it covered" and was worried because I'm in Switzerland and it was much later than the publication. Not only did it arrive in perfect condition and well packed, it took so few time I got it before some of my British friends!

Wollte die neue CD von Chris Jagger bestellen. LP und CD (signed). Alles okay, einschließlich die 47€ für die Sendung in unser Dorf. TM kommt dann mit roter Balkenschrift, sie würden den Ort in Deutschland nicht beliefern? Bescheuert, oder englischer Humor?

I have used them many times and find they get your items despatched quickly and find that they items are well packaged leading to no damage.

They have a great selection on the website which meets my requirements.

I would say that for regular customers like myself a discount code would be nice once in a while dropped in an email to keep you interested but overall fantastic. 👍

Ordered two limited edition vinyls on pre- order from them. I was kept informed about a small delay and they were dispatched exactly when they said, arrived quickly and were well packed, made it to Germany in perfect condition. Can definitely recommend Townsend Music on price and service.

These guys simply do not understand what good customer service is. Ordered 2 albums, one a pre release with delivery of in stock album with the pre release. When the release date came, they cancelled the in stock album becasue they said they no longer had it in stock, and at the same time cancelled delivery of the pre order despite taking payment. I had to chase them for the pre order. No apology for the stock item they failed to put aside, no aplogy for cancelling the pre order, and no apology for massive delay in delivery. Customer service is very slow, arrogant and unhelpful. The really do not give a S*%^ about you the customer. Avoid at all costs!

Ordered DMAs Limited Edition vinyl 'The Glow' with signed insert. Smooth transaction and record was posted in exceptional mailers.

Fantastic service as ever. Just received the new orange vinyl Alphaville release and the speed of service, communication and above all packaging and delivery from Townsend was brilliant. They are always top class and definitely my music supplier of choice. Got another on order now too.

Just received package, in times when everything is in danger of being crushed and damaged. It arrived impeccably packaged (layers and layers of packaging material) and without a scratch. That can never happen with Amazon. 6 out of 5 stars! Thanks so much!!!

A mixed experience with my recent order for a CD and accompanying "signed copy" book.
Packaging was good and secure; despatch was a bit slow (compared to other suppliers) but the main disappointment was the "signed copy" book.
I was expecting the author to have signed the title page of the book as traditional, but instead he had signed a label which had been stuck in (a bit askew) !

Habe dort bestellt da eine CD zum günstigen Preis mit signiertem Comic angeboten wurde. Habe dort extra 8,50€ für getrackten Versand bezahlt. Am 18. Habe ich bestellt und erst am 23. sagt man mir dass der Comic nicht mehr vorrätig ist und nur die CD versendet wird. Ich meine, dauert ja schon lange genug bis die Bestellung überhaupt bearbeitet wird und dann das. Ich wollte die Bestellung stornieren aber am nächsten Tag habe ich den Status bekommen dass die Sendung losgeschickt wurde und gleichzeitig die Antwort dass ich nicht mehr stornieren kann da die Sendung auf dem Weg ist. Der Status der Sendung ändert sich jetzt leider immer noch nicht... Das ist frustrierend zumal ich extra 1,50€ mehr für den Versand gezahlt habe damit ich es verfolgen kann und es schneller ankommt.

Ware nie erhalten weil DHL die Adresse nicht findet. Dann nur die bestellten Artikel aber nicht die € 14 Porto erstattet. Kundenfreundlich geht anders

Been using Townsend Music for over ten years and have never had any problems. I ordered two pre-releases months ago. I was always kept up-to-date with release dates and dispatching times. Again, items were packaged very well, as described, and arrived on time. One even was tracked.
Another good experience provided by a top seller. Highly recommended.
