Couldn't log in

Couldn't log in. Their "recover/change password" system is terrible. I spent 15 minutes trying to log in, then changing my password with the link they sent me, trying to log in with the new password, and being denied. Terrible service, wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Health Check of my system

I phoned as my system hadn't been sending health check information. So I spoke with Emily who resolved the problem. Emily was very helpful and told me about the geofence feature on the app and how best to use it

I had requested for a new Fob 6 months…

I had requested for a new Fob 6 months ago and was given wrong information/poor followup. Second time when I called, the sales operator was very helpful.

A great product. And excellent responses from the emergency and CS team. Only downside is the real time tracking that sites behind geofencing which doesn’t always keep updated.

Support is useless.

Had a problem with this for two years now, the app not updating the vehicle position or recent journeys. Reported a number of times and each time the send the unit a config to wake it up that works for a couple of months, then it dies again. Finally asked for it to be replaced only to be told I'm now 2 months out of warranty after the same problem for more than 2 years.
What a joke. Don't get one of these the customer support is laughable.

UPDATE
After this review caused them to call me, it seems they blame O2 for working on a mast near me. In that case O2 must be following me around the country working on masts as it just never works.
Also they don't understand the product as yesterday they tell me they run 3G and don't support 4G, today they tell me they don't have 3G it's 4G. Useless

Excellent support and backup.

On buying a new car I needed to have the Trackstar removed form my old one and re-installed in the new. The garage had several questions about removing the old unit and this involved several calls to Trackstar and I was pleased that proper logs of each call were taken so I didn't have to start from the beginning each time. Emily Jones was particularly helpful in resolving the issue with the garage and, throughout the process, was prompt in responding, very reassuring and knowledgeable. In particular, I needed the installation work done quickly and Emily worked very hard to find an installer for me at very short notice.

Update Tracker from Old customer/ motorhome

Bought a Motorhome new to us and activated the tracker and this lady called Lisa Gover at Trackstar was very accommodating with my enquiry and sorted it out. She’s an asset to the company even phone me back when I had been waiting for 25 minutes the company needs more people like her. He’s got time and patience to listen

Trackers Unmonitored - Terrible Service

My device stopped communicating with them 10/8 - No location or trip data.

Spoken to CS and they confirm they can not see the unit - For a tracker to go offline would they not have alerts as this could be indicative of theft / removal. Only myself contacting them brought this to light.

The car is currently with the dealer and it's not looking good 1/9

Update - After so much confusion between BWM and TrackStar a replacement unit is on the way - ETA 13/9

So over one month of the vehicle being un monitored - A month of the subscription paid for but not useable and not a word.....

the app does not show current location

the app does not show my vehicles current location - it is 11 days out of date. This is not the first time this has happened, it is a regular occurrence (today's date 26/08/25 - app shows last location from 15/08/25)

On a recent change to my vehicle

On a recent change to my vehicle, Trackstar were able to offer several choices to upgrade my current tracker. Trackstar were very helpful & efficient to get me up & running with the minimum downtime at a cost which helped to smooth the whole process.

New fob (tag) but no instructions.....

I needed a new fob (tag) but the website lacked the necessary information for me to easily identify the model to purchase. I telephoned and, after what seemed like a long time, was helped to identify the correct replacement fob. Whilst on the 'phone, I asked " will it come with pairing instruction?". "Yes, it will" I was told.
Fob arrived with no pairing instructions. Back to the 'phone again to eventually get pairing instructions sent to me. They were not clear and lacked an essential piece of information. Back to the 'phone again to find that the young lady did not know enough to identify what the pairing difficulty was. Eventually, out of stress induced desperation, I applied an inordinate amount of pressure to one part of the fob to receive the necessary click for it to pair.

How difficult is it for you to get the instructions sorted out with comprehensive notes????????
