Never received order after many promises of shipment. I get that the start up crashed and was overwhelmed, but I gave them benefit of the doubt like an idiot. Lost out on the merchandise and our money. Such a shame as it was a great idea. Willing to update this review to 5 stars if the merch shows up or a refund is given.

My star is meant to be a negative one!! Purchased in January, nothing but the same lies and scam responses others have shared. Does anyone know if these meat heads have been locked up for fraud yet?

I NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER!!!

Total scam ripoff. Stole my money and never delivered anything. Promise after promise and stories about how viral their products were. Scam artists. I wish Instagram was better at filtering out these kinds of shady businesses.

I placed an order with Trades Mate in January, and unfortunately, it never arrived. Despite repeated attempts to get updates, the communication was poor, and I was left in the dark about the status of my order. The initial interactions were promising, but the lack of follow-through was disappointing. I hope they can improve their delivery and customer service in the future.

Be warned these guys are now operating as mean straps on Facebook!

Placed order in Jan 2024, got only 1 response in feb that said its been sent to the shipping company and to be patient. Its now July and have not got a single response nor update to my order. I am assuming they've given up and taken off. Refer to ninenews article that suggests asking bank to cancel charges or chargeback to them. Good luck to everyone in my position.

This company is a scam. They took my money in January and its now June and still haven't received my order. Have had no correspondence from them, Ive asked for a refund and still no reply.
Don't go near this company. They are Thieves!!

I’m order 3894. It said on the website it would take around 7 days to receive order. Ordered on 18 jan 2024. Weeks later package hadn’t arrived so asked for a tracking number.
I had an email to say it was my “final update” on the order and I would receive a tracking number soon.
Weeks later followed up again. No tracking number, out of stock so a free gift of an extra strap was applied to my order in “gesture of good will” today it’s 31st of May, I haven’t had a response in months, no sign of refund no sign of product, no sign of response. $211 for 5 straps.
It looked like a really good product but I’m disappointed after 5 months that it’s still not here and no comms on when it might arrive.
If it was a genuine mistake of overselling the product then I can only but feel sorry for the stress the business owners and staff may feel. However there surely must be a point to which the website says out of stock on the product and therefore limits sales? So it’s either a lesson learned by tradesmate as a company or a mistake by me to buy off Facebook.
Either way I’m disappointed.

Over 4 months after paying $150 and no tracking number or refund insite. Feels more like a scam than a real company. The say if on their website “ If you do not have a tracking number, please contact our customer service to arrange a refund or a free gift for the delay” but soon as I mentioned this all correspondence stop around a month ago

Almost 4 months and no responses and no straps. They won’t answer to cancel my order. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!! You. A get straps on Amazon.

Liars and scam artists - I at first like many believed their simple claim of over marketing flooding their stock. But when they repeatedly lied about my order having shipped, when it’s never been allocated, I called them out on it and now they’ve stopped responding whatsoever to my emails. We’ve heard they ran a fraudulent raffle to win a Landcruiser, but never announced a winner. Some report their orders are not even the same product advertised. Most through have just not received anything. They are both 23, 24 year olds, we will never get our funds back, but what we intend to do is make sure Australia know exactly who these two are, and that they are never allowed to start another business again. This will follow their greedy mitts around like a dead weight.

Total scam. Save your money. Placed an order for 10 ratchets. Received 1. Followed up and got bs emails stating they oversold. Then a follow up email that they would be shipped. Haven’t heard from them since. This goes back to January.

Scam, liars and thieves, try and make you beleive they are just good blokes who sold more than they had and will come good soon, not the case, deliberately deceptive

A TOTAL SCAM

I ordered Jan 24th 2024 on March 5th I received this email

"....Finally, some GOOD NEWS: all remaning outstanding orders will be shipped by tomorrow, 6th of March, 2024. You'll receive a tracking number via email soon - please also check your junk mail just in case. Please note, shipping may take slightly longer if you are in a remote community."

However even with multiple follow up emails they cannot or should I say WILL NOT provide me a tracking number, even though the email said I would get on soon.

Pack of low life scammers!!! DO NOT SNED ANY MONEY THERE WAY!!!!!

Unbelievable - they arrived!
after many false starts and all the issues that everyone else has experienced and was convinced it was a scam.
Eventually I was given an AusPost tracking number - not a Chinese one and they arrived.
I think that these guys have leant a valuable lesson. I hope that they recover.

Ordered in Jan 24 and as at 19 April have not received my order. I have asked for my money back and this request was met with silence. This is a scam, do not trust these people.

Updated review: items received 4 months after placing the order. The items supposed to be 3.5m in length but are 3m which for my purposes is a significant issue. But even considering arguing with these people is just not worth my time.
