However, we would like to clarify that online travel agencies such as TravCart do not directly control airline inventory, ticket issuance, or fare validation. When a booking request is submitted, airlines and their reservation systems must confirm seat availability and validate the fare before a ticket can be issued. Unfortunately, in some cases—particularly when booking close to departure—airlines may reject, cancel, or fail to confirm reservations due to inventory changes, fare discrepancies, or operational restrictions.

We understand your concern regarding the absence of a PNR or e-ticket number. A reservation is only considered ticketed once the airline successfully confirms and issues the ticket. In circumstances where the airline is unable to complete that process, the booking cannot proceed, and a refund must be initiated. While we appreciate that this was extremely disappointing, TravCart did not intentionally withhold a ticket or boarding pass, nor did we benefit from the cancellation of your reservation.

Regarding the refund timeline, the 3–5 business day estimate provided is not intended as a delay tactic. This timeframe reflects the standard processing period required by payment processors and financial institutions once a refund has been initiated. While we understand that online reviews may create concerns, refund processing times are generally dependent on banking systems and card issuers rather than TravCart itself.

We also recognize your comments regarding your conversations with our representative, Marvin. Our team strives to provide updates based on the information available from airline partners at the time, and we regret if the outcome ultimately did not meet your expectations. We understand how important this trip was and why the situation felt especially upsetting given the circumstances surrounding your travel.

While we respect your decision to book directly with the airline after the cancellation, we would like to assure readers that TravCart remains committed to transparency, customer support, and assisting travelers whenever unexpected airline-related issues arise. We regret that this particular booking could not be fulfilled and are sorry that your experience did not reflect the level of service we aim to provide.
