The cancellation of your booking was the result of a mass cancellation initiated by the airline, despite the flight itself continuing to operate. Unfortunately, these large-scale cancellations are outside our direct control and can occur due to airline inventory, fare audits, or other operational reasons. This was not a decision made by Travcart.

Once the cancellation was confirmed, we informed you promptly and initiated the refund process in accordance with the airline’s procedures. We managed the funds somehow and got you the new flights well in time, even in a very tight situation.

Regarding alternative flight pricing and layover times, fares and availability are determined by the airline and are subject to significant changes closer to departure. While we understand the inconvenience caused, we are unable to control fare increases or offer compensation for airline-driven disruptions.

Travcart remains committed to transparency and acting in good faith, and we always work within the options and policies provided by our airline partners. If you would like us to review your booking further or provide additional clarification, our support team remains available to assist.

Please note that the flight cancellation was initiated by the airline, not by us. Unfortunately, airline cancellations are outside our control. Once we were notified of the cancellation, we followed the airline’s refund process and kept you informed accordingly.

Refund timelines are governed by the airline, and while they typically advise up to a week or more for processing, we actively monitor the status to ensure funds are returned as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience during this process and if you may share your reservation details on our customer service email "info@travcart.co.uk" and we will look into this for you.

However, as it is regarding the Ethiopian airline mass cancellation. Be advised that all refunds have been completed already. If you still have not received your refund. Please reach out to us ASAP and we will get it all sorted for you.
