Booked Sorrento Coast, Pompeii & Capri, it was fabulous. Stayed in the beautiful hotel jaccarino. This is a great holiday when everything is planned for you, you just show up! Also you get a few days to yourself to relax or further exploring.

The value for money of the holiday and the hotel choice

I really enjoyed the tour of nerja and Costa del sol as the tour guide was friendly and the other people. I like going on a coach tour as I don't want to get a bus or train as I could get lost. I enjoy the company of the other people as we all enjoy sightseeing. Niall Donnelly

Well organized. Excellent accommodation, food and drinks. Internal trips were excellent and well described. Friendly fellow travelers made the trip even better. The balance between travel and rest days was excellent also. We really enjoyed Sicily!

But the delay in Naples airport for 90 minutes unacceptable

A great travel company, this is my 4 th trip . I find it especially good for a solo traveller, you meet lovely people. Absolutely everything was organised perfectly. Excellent guide, driver and hotel accommodation. Will definitely book a trip again in the near future.

Travel Dept do exactly what they say they will do. Very well organised holidays. A bit expensive though. A €200 discount on 7 day holidays would be nice.

The only negative was the truly awful hotel room

Overall a great experience. Small group of 18, excellent guide, nice central hotel, comfortable and quiet room, interesting and varied itinerary. Disappointing breakfast choice as not in main breakfast room so felt second class. However we are familiar with TD hotel choices so did not over expect. It was adequate.

The whole trip was so well organised.
Our Guide Margaret was brilliant- so friendly and helpful.
I have lovely memories now of the Pyrenees area and valleys. The resort Roses is a lovely location and the weather was just right.

We had an absolutely fantastic time in Vietnam. All of the hotels and restaurants that we were taken to were of the highest quality. The tour guide Hung looked after us professionally and with great care. His knowledge of the history and culture of each location we visited made the trip very special. We’re very happy with the Travel Department and look forward to booking with them again.

Venice and verona

Travelled many times with Travel Dept., this trip was to Vietnam. Small group, well organised, great guide and visited a lot of places over two weeks.
Highly recommend trip and company, jut to note it is a busy trip, most days have organised tours. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Sestri Levanti was beautiful. Picturesque. Our hotel was very central. The staff were very helpful and accommodating especially at reception where staff were multilingual and willing to please.
The trips associated with the holiday were well organised and very enjoyable.
The beaches were within walking distance especially the one closest to our hotel Due Mare.

Fantastic location and thoughtfully planned trip. One criticism would be the inclusion of half board in the hotel. This was unnecessary as there were endless fabulous restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel.
Secondly, the cost of the trip could probably have been reduced!

We have just returned from a fantastic River Cruise with The Travel Department, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.

I was absolutely delighted with the flexible seating arrangements during meals. It was wonderful not being locked into the same table with the same people from the beginning of the trip to the end, which allowed us to mix, mingle, and make so many new friends."

We had a fantastic holiday. We travelled as a party of 3 with one having special needs but everything was perfectly planned for us so we didn’t need to worry about anything. The bus always turned up at the exact time to take us out and home again. The guide Vincento recommended good and reasonable places to eat when we were out and about. The hotel staff were all so helpful and kind. The hotel was spotless. I am recommending my son and daughter to the same trip for their 20th wedding anniversary next year. They will love the tours as they were excellent too. Thank you for organising a wonderful holiday 👍
