I expected the pending charge to simply disappear immediately which is standard practice, as is the case when dealing with the biggest UK on-line retailer.

To clarify â when an order is placed, the payment is authorised but doesn't actually reach our account unless the prescription is accepted on our end. If weâre unable to supply the medication, we will cancel the authorisation or issue a refund (if we have already accepted the order) straight away. Depending on your bank, it can take between 3 and 5 business days for the funds to appear back in your account, though this may vary slightly.
That said, weâll still be investigating this internally to ensure there were no unacceptable delays in processing. We want the refund process to be as smooth and stress-free as possible moving forward.
We are fully registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You can view our pharmacy registration and more details about who we are and how we work by visiting the About Us page on our website.
