Trek Travels always puts on an incredible vacation experience.

My wife and I took a Gravel Tour of the Dolomites with Trek Travel in June 2026. The booking experience was well done. My contact was friendly and talked me through decisions that had to be made (insurance, bike). In Italy, the Guides on the trip were super. They were always looking out for us but in an unobtrusive way. The Trek e-bikes were very well set up and prepared on a daily basis. My wife requested a few adjustments after day 1 and they were done quickly. The hotels were first rate, very roomy and comfortable with a delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Hotel Linta in Asiago has a 360 degree view that we sat outside to enjoy. Hotel Regina in San Martino di Castrozza was in town but surrounded by the majestic mountains. Daily ride briefings were fun. One day a Guide explained Italian coffee options to us. Informative and hilarious. All the planned stops for lunch provided a good variety of food, even for vegetarians. The group meals were delicious and fun. I enjoyed the diverse group of other tourists. Nice people from all over the US. The routes varied in length, intensity and technical challenge. There were almost always options if you wanted to do less or more. I got lost once, my own fault, and a Guide helped me get back on track. Based on our experience, I'm already looking at options for next summer. I highly recommend Trek Travel.

Trek Travel always knocks it out of the park. The scenery was incredible. The routes were beautiful. The guides were fantastic and the bikes are always perfect. The German-Austria trip was great.

Our Trek Travel experience never fails to be excellent!

What a great tour! The routes were nicely laid out, with three options most days. The scenery was beautiful. The guides were friendly, enthusiastic, and accommodating. I loved the snack stops, which always had something different to try. (New ride food for me: Chex Mix!) All the included meals were nice, but the last night was extra special. The whole experience was first-rate. I've only been back three weeks, and I already booked another trip with Trek Travel.

Everything was great! Our guides, Natalie and Alex, were attentive and always most helpful. The bikes were great. The hotels and towns we stayed in were lovely. The farm to table restaurants that were selected for our meals were most special. They were perfect for our group of 16. The cooking class was fun - also in a lovely setting. The people on the group got along perfectly well- new friends, exercise in a lovely environment- perfect! Carole C.

Great unique experiences every time.
As someone who's been on more than one Trek Travel trip, I'm most impressed by the uniqueness of every trip and set of tour guides/people. You're never bored as they plan out your day with "swiss time" schedule, but there is really no pressure to ride or do anything you don't want to. Its your vacation and they do a great job of accommodating people.

The gravel rides, which varied daily, presented a very scenic view of the varied terrain within the Black Hills. From prairie to canyon to peaceful rails-to-trails to switchbacks among granite spires to the bison herds of Custer State Park, this trip was remarkable. The guides were fantastic, they went above and beyond every day to make the whole trip unforgettable.

The Trek guides were great! They made sure everything went like clockwork! The hotels we stayed in were in good locations and were very comfortable. 4 stars because Trek needs to do a better way of consistently describing the trails/hikes. Also, each hike should have 2 guides on it to accommodate the differing levels of hiking in a group.

The guides, Carlos and Gio, were fabulous.

Excellent experienced and qualified staff to help with the gear, logistics and supporting the cyclists. Accommodation and food was always high quality and the supplied bikes were good. We were very pleased to be found and rescued (picked up in the van) after we got lost on one of the poorly signed forestry tracks. Lots of on road support and clear directions and guidance. especially with the wet windy days in the Scottish highlands.

Trek looks after you. They make sure the bikes fit and they work correctly. Course are laid into the Karoos before the start of the ride. Our guides were great employees, people, and friends. They got us to dinner, mixers, wine tasting, and up big climbs. Our guys were Zack and Warren.

The Mikelson trail was unique and easy to ride on. Beautiful views.

Preparing for a week of climbing in the Dolomites and alps takes a lot of conditioning .
A lot of behind the scene work can’t be an assumption.The quality of the food, accommodations and recovery time were beyond what my wife and I expected.
Wiebe and Oriol, our guides managed our comfort,security and daily itinerary perfectly.
This was our second cycling trip with Trek Travel.
We will be back!!!

For starters our group rode South Dakota gravel. The weather ended up being mostly overcast and cool, but everyone still had a wonderful time. This was in no small part due to the professionalism, positivity, and hard work of our guides. The routes and scenery were spectacular and even some gray skies and rain could not dampen our spirits on this wonderful vacation. The experience exceeded expectations!

The guides were phenomenal! Caleb, Beverly and Sammy were the best hosts and guides we could have asked for. Extremely professional in every sense of the word and a lot of fun to be with. Their attention to detail, not only when riding but in general made the trip a great experience. As a result, we’ve recommended this trip, and Trek Travel in general, to multiple friends.
