Trustworthy source of information with a wide range of places/activities reviewed worldwide.

On the whole it’s a good site for information but I don’t feel like it’s always a true reflection of the reviewed place given they can promote their business on there. But it is useful to read people’s reviews. You really should reward reviewers maybe with discount for travel bookings. It takes time to review and people should get something for it. I don’t do reviews if I’m busy. If I actually got something for it I might. And you’d get heaps more people reviewing.

TripAdvisor is my go to when booking trips away from home.

why bother with giving tripadvisor any reviews as this site does not wont people who want the truth about matters relating to anything on tripadvisor

I find there is lots of open information regarding venues, thing to do. I like to view what others think and find when browsing.

Trip Advisor is where I go to find what I need when I’m in unfamiliar territory. I think it helps to have unbiased opinions and you can take a general average from those offered.

Great information is placed on the site.

I’m not someone who likes to rewiew all the places and things I do. But I do like to rewiew the places and acrivities I enjoyed the most. So, TripAdvisor is a place where I can do that, it’s easy to use and you can trust.

TripAdvisor is very useful whenever you need a hotel or restaurant or indeed when you want to purchase anything, however, you always get the idiots so you have to read between the lines. Yes, mostly excellent. Just one thing I do not like: If I look up a hotel or a city TripAdvisor pick this up and bombard me with information I do not need to know.

A simple but effective site to use, and very broad coverage. I love it because it comes from my favourite country and destination.

TripAdvisor is a great site for travelers either local of if you are going further away. I like the review section as it’s written based on travelers real experience

Use Tripadvisor for finding hotels and restaurants in unknown area.

Only negative is that my fellow reviewers are generally slow responders when asking questions re hotels, restaurants or alike.

My husband and I hired a Camper from Lucky Rentals, in Christchurch (NZ).It was old and absolutely disgusting front passenger seat broken.Gears in it weren't much good.
The office staff there were hopeless, young girls that really didn't want to be there.We weren't the only people complaining when dropping of Campers.
We have never had a problem before when we have hired Cars or Campers in N.Z.
Would never used this company again, it was booked here in Australia, which didn't make any difference as we spoke to one person and they were from N.Z.

Using other travellers' reviews of places of interest is much easier than using travel guides because you get honest critiques of places you should or should not spend your time visiting.

When planning your travels you have many options. By visiting Trip Advisor you get a predominantly unbiased view that allows you to select options to make your decisions easier.

I rely on Trip Advisor for both positive and negative reviews.
This gives a helpful overall picture and allows you to make up your own mind. Asking questions of experts is also very useful, especially on various international places you are expecting to visit in the near future.

In many cases, forewarned is forearmed and TripAdvisor is a valuable asset in determining the value of a business or property, what you expect and any points to look out for.
By and large I have found the views expressed by people accurately reflect the standards of the business concerned.
I have no second thoughts about telling people to check TripAdvisor out before they visit a place or business, so as to avoid disappointment.

Trip Advisor is my first port of call when looking to make a booking whether it be accommodation, activities or somewhere to eat.
