Great tool for any traveller

This is my go to site for all things travel- because its people like me who put their honest opinions on here and so its un-biased and also very easy to use!

I always read TripAdvisor reviews prior to making a holiday booking. I'm certain this has saved me many bad experiences and assisted in many good experiences. It helps keep Hotels and tourist operators honest by empowering customers. Additionally, experiences shared through TripAdvisor assists me to find in more detail the experience I want to enjoy prior to making a financial commitment. A great tool and a prerequisite prior to making any decisions for your holiday.

I like reading trip advisor if I am looking to go to an event or place. The reviews are honest & reflect real experiences. What I dislike is having to keep finding my log in. Each time this comes up I will not engage.

A must visit to check on places we want to visit!

Tripadvisor is my first port of call when I am considering my next trip. The information is so informative and I have been on the receiving end of some great deals thanks to this company.

The only thing wrong with TripAdvisor is that the questions aren't always the same and sometimes N/A. Other than that it's great.

Doesn't matter if you are travelling overseas or visiting something in your home town, it's always helpful to get opinions of other travellers on the best activities, value for money and what others enjoyed - or didn't enjoy. recommendations from other people are always more reliable than a company's advertising of their own services, and we were thankful for Trip Advisor on our recent 6 month Europe trip, not just for cities, activities, sights, but also for restaurants and hotels. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to review - without you all this wouldn't be possible. Keep up the good work.

We relied heavily on Comments made by other travellers when researching where to stay, eat, visit and mostly selected accommodation based on the perceived friendliness of the owners i.e. when we opted out of hotels. We are 'details' people, so did look through a lot of Comments to find key themes and used the room tips to great effect.
We didn't book through Trip Advisor though I'm not sure why. I think they were only getting started as a booking site, (not sure).
As we used Trip Advisor ++ we made a commitment to write reviews, sometimes me, sometimes my wife to help others in future. People are generally honest in their feedback which gave us confidence. A few people rant and rave but we found them the exception not the rule.

I always check on TripAdvisor before booking as I find that the information is quite reliable

TripAdvisor provide a great product to the traveller which is well known around the globe.
As a contrinutor it is very easy to add reviews either on the go or at a later, more convenient date.
There is very little hassle or pressure from TripAdvisor nor is there a heap of spam that arrives in your inbox.

You want to have insider information about places to stay or attractions to visit, Tripadvisor is your first place to receive comprehensive and trustworthy information. I've always experienced exactly what the information on Tripadvisor prepared me for.

I have found TripAdvisor to be invaluable. It is great to get reviews from different people around the world on hotels, motels, the best deals etc. When ever I want to go on holiday I always go on TripAdvisor first & make my bookings accordingly. I have reccommended this site to many people who also just love it!

I have always enjoyed using TripAdvisor as it is so simple and has all sorts of information. The app has been used across the world and of course the reviews are non bias so it's a cross section of experience from actual experience. Use it as often as I can, it's great!
