Contacted the company with a query and Katie replied really quickly. My order came on time, the instructions to care for the plants until I gave it as a gift were helpful, and the recipient loved it! Sustainable packaging too.

Wholesome and relaxing, would recommend!
It was a very wholesome and relaxing session, we had a fun time and learnt a lot about Terrarium and plant care too! Katie was incredibly helpful and made sure we went home satisfied. We made friends with the others and overall enjoyed the workshop. Thank you for the very informative and fun session :)

LOVED building mine
LOVED building mine. Everything came packaged really well with a lovely handwritten note, all in eco-friendly little baggies. It was really fun to make and the final result looks incredible. It’s brightened up my desk at work and really love it!

Products are all very good quality but…
Products are all very good quality but not 5 stars as there was not enough of some supplies in the kit. The base was very broad so something like charcoal was pathetically too litte. luckly I had some supplies or I would have had order some and put off building for a week

The amount of charcoal included is carefully measured and only a small amount is needed for it to work effectively, even in wider bases. Generally ok, but the glass terrarium seems very thin
I bought the kit for my son after shopping around for what seemed like the most suitable option at the given price point. It was difficult to tell from other sellers just how big or small their offering were but tropical glass made it a bit clearer.
The kit arrived in good time, securely packaged. All the plants are healthy and strong. This kit contents were nice - a mix of pebbles and decorative sands, a few tools and the necessary soil and clay gravel. I ordered the led lid which is a nice addition and lights up the plants well.
My only disappointment is the glass is a bit thin. I didn’t think to check before purchasing and assumed it would be thicker, given the size of the terrarium. It feels very fragile. I was nervous installing the lid firmly.

Our terrariums are made using different glass thicknesses depending on the model. The glass is designed to be lightweight while remaining suitable and safe for normal use. We understand it can feel delicate when handling, especially with larger pieces, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.

I was looking for a glass jar to build my own terrarium and the choice on the Tropical Glass website is very good and reasonably priced. I received my order very quickly and it was well packaged and arrived safely. I am very pleased with the fairy garden I have now created.
