We financed a new mortgage through True North when we needed to renew as we did not want to stay with our current lender. We liked that the brokers at True North are salaried and not commission based, which means they won't just go with the lender that gives them the highest commission. This was our first time renewing a mortgage as we had not lived in Canada previously as home owners. We hooked up with Madhur Tyagi (Maddy) at True North and he walked us though the process; answering all our questions and informing us on everything else we were not familiar with. He was patient in answering our many inquiries and wonderfully quick at getting back to our emails and voicemails. We felt very secure and at ease with Maddy and knew that things would be done on time. True North gave us a fantastic 5year fixed rate.
Maddy kept us abreast of everything as it took place and even worked a miracle last minute with the FCT to push up the signing as my husband would be out of the country and unavailable at the normal time. Everything was handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

We have already reccomended Maddy and True North to our relatives and many of our friends. We have no reservations recommending them to anyone.

Pranay helped us immensely and honestly saved us from a tough situation. We were worried we’d end up with a very high interest rate or have to go with private lenders, but he secured a competitive rate and gave us a couple of solid options with A lenders to choose from.

In our most stressful time, we called him and explained our situation, and within a day and a half he helped us submit our documents and reviewed everything with us to put us at ease. We were so, and are still, so grateful.

Traditional banks kept telling me my credit rating was too bad, that I couldn't qualify to remortgage the home I am in, even though I have an existing mortgage. TD wouldn't budge on helping me with the high payments. So I reached out to True North, Ryan my broker was amazing, he got me an amazing deal with another institution and my payments are now manageable again. Thank you Ryan.

Words cannot describe how incredible Antoniette McDonald has been. After wasting close to a month of my time trying to get an approval with my bank and with a different broker, I reached out to True North and was connected to Antoniette. She got to work right off the batt. She explained the mortgage approval process and communicated everything with an immense level of kindness and respect. Being a first time home buyer, the entire mortgage approval process is all new to me and I had a LOT of questions. Antionette answered all of my questions and re-assured me when I got over-whelmed during the process as my file was extremely complicated.
