We were impressed by Mark Politz, who gave us helpful advice on the wording of our Wills.
He is knowledgeable, professional and super-efficient.

Kirstie was recommended to me to assist with my divorce. Throughout she was steadfast in her original advice and skilfully saw off an attempt at an unequal division of assets. Many tens of thousands of pounds have been saved through an agreed equal settlement without the costs of arguments in court.

I instructed Thomas Snell for a property purchase. My house deposit came from the sale of a legitimate cryptocurrency investment but they dropped me as a client immediately after I disclosed it was cryptocurrency related wealth. There was no discussion or attempt to understand my position.

Ruth also contacted my seller's solicitors minutes after emailing to say she's dropping me as a client, this was before I had a chance to reply to her and explore other options which was unprofessional.

After some online searching, I found a forward thinking solicitor that worked with cryptocurrency wealth (Kingsley Napley). I was required to do a third party audit which was successfully completed within a few days.

Current statistics show that 19% of people in the UK either own or have owned cryptocurrency. Thomas Snell is clearly asleep at the wheel and I would advise any young person to avoid this firm and support the firms willing to do the work.

Update: My case was rejected within an hour with no discussion or attempt to understand my position so it's unclear how this matter was closely considered. The law firm I went on to work with took days to do the appropriate risk assessments along with a genuine interest to understand my position.

Sarah was recommended to us by a friend. That recommendation could not have been more accurate. We had some family matters that needed some professional legal advice and Sarah was basically fantastic and her sound legal advice and way of dealing with the other side was brilliant. We reached an agreement very quickly avoiding the dreaded family court process. I cannot recommend the practice enough.

Thomson Snell & Passmore has been my legal advisor for several years. One of their strengths is the wide range of matters they are able to handle. They have provided valuable support and advice to me on a variety of issues including probate, IHT, dispute resolution, conveyancing, wills, lasting powers of attorney and family tax.

We are part way through using Thomson Snell & Passmore to handle the conveyancing for a leasehold flat we are purchasing.

So far we have been blown away by the fantastic service given by our solicitor Rachel and her assistant William. From the beginning they have been attentive to our concerns and wishes, especially as first time buyers, they have given us the peace of mind by guiding us through every step of the process.

I will update and complete this review once everything is finalised.

Have only had a small involvement with TSP but they couldn't have been more helpful. They went above and beyond to give me some advice despite not being able to take on my matter at this time. They was also so efficient and timely in their communication with me.
