I’ve owned a Turboant X7 Pro Max for nearly two years, and I’m very satisfied, not only with the scooter itself, but also with the support provided by Jane and the Turboant team. Whenever I needed anything, they were always there to help.

After doing extensive research on the scooter market, I came across the Turboant X7. It offers a range of up to 30 miles, takes less than five hours to fully charge, and features a battery mounted on the stem rather than near the ground like most scooters. This design helps protect it when riding through puddles, and the battery can be easily removed for replacement.

It’s by far one of the best options for the price. The availability of add-ons also makes a big difference, for example, I installed honeycomb tires and never have to worry about flats. Need a replacement part? They’ve got you covered. Need help installing it? They provide step-by-step videos showing exactly how to do it.

I’m very happy with my choice!

Crap customer service

On May 4, 2025 I purchased a refurbished m10 pro for $352. Sometime in September 2025, it completely stopped working. I went back and forth with Turboant about possible issues/repairs. I took it to a local scooter shop - I live in Houston, TX. They couldn't fix it. On 10/28/25 turboant emailed me- "Hello Vanessa,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused.

Based on the assessment from the repair shop, we recommend replacing both the control board and the motor to resolve the issue. However, we completely understand that the cost of repairing a refurbished scooter might feel high, and we genuinely regret that you are facing this difficulty.

We would like to assure you that our refurbished scooters undergo strict quality checks and are designed to perform similarly to new units. While issues can occasionally arise due to probability, this is not reflective of the overall reliability of our products.

If the repair cost is not ideal for you at this time, we would like to offer an alternative: you may consider purchasing a new scooter from us(comes with a 12-month warranty for your peace of mind)

We are here to assist you further and help find a solution that works best for you.

To which I replied - NO thank you! I'm not about to purchase anything else from them. Even a refurbished scooter should last more than 4 months!!

Junk scooters!

Junk scooters!
I bought one for my daughter in June 2025. The motor failed in September, when we contacted TurboAnt and they told us they would send a warranty replacement...
Well, it is now mid-December and we still have not received our replacement motor! Only several emails indicating even more delays in sending the replacement motor to us...
Meanwhile, our daughter is away at college and was depending on this scooter as her primary means of transportation. Now has to walk or pay for public transportation...
TurboAnt continues to sell this same scooter, yet cannot send us the warranty replacement that we paid for!?!?! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
There are other, BETTER scooter's available elsewhere!!

Great return/refund/exchange experience

Hello Y'all!

I am a third time buyer of TurboAnt scooter products and had a great experience with an exchange I needed to make recently.

I made a purchase of Turboant's lower tier scooters but my use is very heavy and I learned I needed to upgrade within a month of use.

Jane with Turboant Customer service was great to hear and respond quickly to my email announcing I needed to return the scooter.

Jane gave me several options to correct the situation, including exchanging the scooter for a better model. I chose this option.

One thing to note is I threw out the original packaging, but Turboant was nice enough to allow me to return it in the packaging which my upgrade would come in.

I got the product I needed (and love it) and was able to repackage the other scooter and ship it using the shipping label provided by TurboAnt.

The process was very smooth. Jane was excellent in her quick succinct replies. Turboant was quick to inspect my return and immediately remitted my refund for it.

Now I have the better scooter for my needs and am very very happy with the response of Turboant's Customer Support and product quality.

Great fix to a problem

The customer service team responded in a timely fashion made me feel like they genuinely wanted to help. My son commented (it's his scooter) than he was glad to have the backing of a good company behind his scooter.
The video for replacing the controller was well done too, it made the repair easy.

Performance and customer support leaves much to be desired

I initially purchased this scooter (V8) in December 2024. I say initially, because my order was apparently part of a batch that was lost or stolen in transit.
I ultimately received the scooter and began to use it in February.
I was told specifically, via phone with customer support, that the scooter would easily climb a 20% grade, when in fact any grade over 12% causes it to stall out. This performance compromise has been consistent from day 1.
Customer service asserts that the performance of my scooter is as expected. Emailed communication is consistent with a “performance oversell” during my phone inquiry prior to purchase.

Your needs may vary from mine, but if reasonable hill climbing ability is important, I would suggest bypassing this brand.

A Living Nightmare

This is by far, the WORST scooter brand I have the guilt to say I own. When I first bought the X7 Max for my college commutes, it was quite smooth and had zero issues. It came down to needing inevitable repairs (Inner tube tear. Not sure how) like all machines need. I had little foresight on the suffering I was going to endure. Deconstruction was strenuous but nothing too bad since it was just the inner tube. HOWEVER, we need to discuss about the RECONSTRUCTING PROCESS. IT IS THE MOST HEADBANGING, ABYSMAL, AGONIZING pain I have probably endured in my life. The videos did not have most of the issues or warnings on what issues could arise, leaving me to do an abundance of research on my own on how to do it. The problem isn't the needing to problem solve. It's the ambiguous tire design. I have dumped too much money into attempting to fix THE FRONT TIRE AND ONLY THE FRONT TIRE but to no avail. I have spent months trying to fix this scooter but let this be my lesson on the quality of this scooter. You get what you pay for but apparently, I paid for crap. Please heed my warning and do NOT buy from this company unless you are thirsting for agony.
P.S. I am still trying to put the motor back into the front tire, but nothing works. At least I learned my lesson about this quality and WILL NOT be buying another one. EVER.
