UBA CAMEROON IS NONENSE
I wish trust pilot reviews had (NEGATIVE). Honestly, UBA doesn’t deserve even a STAR. The whole process from Customer service, customer support, online transactions, even common OTP messages and bank logins, ATM withdrawals don’t work. UBA CAMEROON in particular is just total rubbish and trash. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed. To hell with you guys.
Charged twice
I ordered an uba today .it parked in the centre of my rd ,around 20 houses away from my home .i got in ,and got to destination .driver never spoke ,…uba charged me twice for this ride ,I am going to dispute this after my NatWest transaction comes off pending .1st time using these ,not impressed so far
UBA HAS REFUSED TO RELEASE IHS REFUND.
UBA has refused to pay the IHS refund they received via Worldpay. The funds were paid in batches: first payment was made to UBA on 2022/09/16 and the second batch was made on 2023/04/11. The Home Office has shared every detail about the transactions and same have been forwarded to UBA for several months now, yet UBA is not releasing the funds.

Poorest customer service. They claim 24/7 service but far from that. For the UBA Group in Ghana, when you call customer service, you are placed on a promo for about 15 minutes until you give up and hang up

This bank's incompetence and rudeness is one of the worst I have ever seen. I do not understand how bad this place is. I am still recovering from their rubbish. They debited my account(their regular trademark) and kept telling me they would refund the money in three days every three days.

UBA are thieves , 911 . Their intergrity is -zero.
I sent my sis money on June 2023 from United state via TapTap app , the money delivered. On Nov 23 2023 they debit money from my sisters account reason telling her the money i sent to her account on June 2023 was sent back to the owner .
The sender do not have naira account , I contacted TAptap and they gave me details that the money went through . Same day my sister went to the bank and they immediately refunded and send her money back to her account . Unbelievable Nigeria where are we heading to !!!! SHAME UBA

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with UBA Bank. Unfortunately, my encounter with the bank has left me frustrated and concerned about the integrity of their services, particularly in handling transactions.
Approximately a month ago, I initiated a fund transfer through UBA Bank to a recipient at First Bank. To my dismay, despite being debited promptly, the intended recipient never received the funds. This has caused inconvenience and financial strain, as the purpose of the transfer was time-sensitive.
Following the failed transaction, I promptly contacted UBA Bank's customer service to seek assistance in resolving the issue. However, my experience with their customer support has been equally disheartening. The responses I received were vague and lacked the urgency one would expect in such a situation. It is disconcerting that an entire month has passed, and the matter remains unresolved.
Particularly troubling is the lack of transparency regarding the reasons behind the transaction's failure. I expected the bank to conduct a thorough investigation and provide me with a clear explanation for the delay and failure of the funds to reach the intended recipient. Unfortunately, I have been left in the dark with no concrete information about the status of my funds.
This incident has severely shaken my trust in UBA Bank, as it highlights a fundamental flaw in their system and raises questions about the security, integrity, and reliability of their services. The bank's failure to promptly rectify the issue reflects poorly on its customer service and commitment to ensuring seamless and secure financial transactions.
I strongly urge UBA Bank to address this matter urgently, provide a detailed investigation account, and expedite the resolution process. I hope they improve their customer service and communication protocols to prevent others from experiencing similar frustrations.
In conclusion, my experience with UBA Bank in this instance could have been better and eroded my confidence in their services. I sincerely hope that the bank takes swift action to rectify this situation and works towards ensuring the trust and satisfaction of its customers in the future.

You kept promising me new resolution date even after all checks has been done on me as a customer since over two weeks. UBA stole the entire money in the account
UBA stole the entire money in two accounts that belong to me. When I queried the Bank, the staff said "those two accounts are dormant accounts."
Yes, I agree that the two accounts are dormant because I left Nigeria for the USA. I was told that I could retrieve the accounts I purchase BVN (Bank verification Number). I paid a reasonable amount of US Dollars to buy the so called BVN. Yet, they said, "We cannot trace the accounts and therefore, it is gone" Obviously, some insider in the Bank stole the money.
Trustpilot: Please give me the opportunity to upload the sample cheque (check) of the account, so that the truth remains undeniable. The Bank used to be good but in the past 10 years, it is run by crooks and criminals. What is a dormant account? All that the Bank needs to do, is to identify that it is my account and then pay me. I had a dormant account with Barclays Bank in London. When I requested that I be paid, it took Barclays Bank London only 35 minutes to identify me and they sent me my money.

UBA is one of the worst banks in Nigeria. How could you send emails and no response, not even an auto-responder in place? Shame on you UBA. I made numerous complaints about how I have been fleeced by a group of people who asked me to send money for crude oil transactions that never materialise into anything. I am now demanding a chargeback because I never got a return on investment as promised. A proportion of the fund I was swindled of was paid to some of their customers who have now eloped. Do not bank with them.
