The UCKG HelpCentre is "no ordinary place" The first time that I attended was in 1996. I came with a life of extreme misery. I had major health issues, divorced after a very abusive marriage that caused me to be paralyzed, family and financial problems, depressed, oppressed, filled with insomnia and full of guilt that I was not able to take proper care of myself or my Son. I felt helpless and completely broken until the day I came to the UCKG HelpCentre. The most incredible place where the Pastors and Volunteers selflessly reached out to me to help me unconditionally. I soon realized that God was the only One that really had the answer for my entire life to be transformed. Fast forward nearly 27years I now, know personally who God is after listening to the help and advice I received, and understanding what faith is through His Word in the Bible and when I take action and apply it I will see the result for my life to have meaning. I am no longer afraid to face any situation, I have inner peace ongoing and now I gladly share "good news" daily so that others can also have what I received.....it's so great to see people's lives being transformed and what a privilege it is to also help in the community groups like the Soup Kitchen with colleagues who also go out to help the homeless, in homes and hospitals, in prisons and care homes for the elderly to name a few..... There is also the 24Hr Helpline on 0207 686 6000 that is available 365 days a year for everyone. I am so thankful for that day when I found the UCKG HelpCentre, Just great!!!!

The UCKG HelpCentre is the place where I have learnt how to use my intelligent faith.
When I practice what I have learnt through the words of God, then I have seen changes in all the areas of my life.
The UCKG HelpCentre is the place where I found help,support, and innner peace, and it's my family.
I will invite people who are struggling in life to come and find out for themselves.
The UCKG HelpCentre also contributes towards helping the community throughout several groups that reach out to several categories of people such as the youth, elderly people, hospital visits, prison visits, and the food bank.

Whether you are going through a difficult time in your life, still struggling to move forward from past hurts or traumas, whether you are facing addictions that you have become deeply embedded in, facing rejections or traumas, or maybe even facing relationship or family problems. Whatever your situation, just as I was able to overcome depression and other inner battles and conflicts, so can you through the support offered in the UCKG HelpCentre. Are you still thinking about it? Don’t hesitate any longer to come and find the help that I once received. Help is as simple as a phone call away and there are numerous branches available across the UK for you to visit and start your journey of freedom. Sometimes a simple prayer or chat is one of the greatest initial steps you will ever take to see your situation begin to change, so don’t hesitate to give it a chance.

This Church is an amazing church who helps me not only with spiritual support but even with physical help if I need.
I remember before coming I was weak but through the work of the church I can see God in my life.
I thank God for the church.

This place is amazing.
I walked in with insecurities, no purpose for my life and past wounds.
Through all the teachings and help I received at the UCKG help center am now a confident woman, I am a business owner and at peace within myself.
I have a purpose in life, and am able to face life challenges without losing my peace.

Uckg has been my home church for 19 years. A wonderful welcome atmosphere with a strong bible based message, it has also excellent children, teens and elderly group programs.
All age groups are welcome!

My life entirely changed when I stepped foot into this place. I had so many problems I didn’t know where to start but I met people who were friendly and willing to listen and to help me genuine people I am so grateful.

Next week Sunday, the UCKG HelpCentre will have ‘From a Wound to a Scar’ event on 21 May. Last year we had the same event and many people attended. Often we have wounds, metaphorically speaking, that have never healed. Whether it’s a past trauma from a relationship or any other internal wound.

My personal experience was the wound of failures and struggling to deal with past hurts that affected my confidence and my ability to trust in myself and to move forward. When I came to the UCKG HelpCentre I was at the point of my life where I was making decisions that had seriously impacted my life! I would spend money I didn’t have just to take away the sadness but of course it didn’t last! I was deep in debt, jobless and deeply wounded by all the failures I had experienced. But I was able to find peace and direction at the UCKG.

The Bible says: “For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 30:17). God certainly healed my wounds and gave me a whole new prospective on life. He can certainly do the same for you

It is well worth a visit to see this Grade II listed building, UCKG Helpcentre. Excellent location; 1 minute walk from the train station; and the bus stops opposite the building. The atmosphere of the building is the most peaceful place I have been to. A friendly place. I was not judged by anyone. I like that I can get prayers and advice for every area of my life anytime, and this helped me overcome the problems and situations that I faced. People from all walks of life here.

More than just a HelCentre….

Having 1st entered as a young youth battling inner turmoil, full of anger, and trying to find answers and solutions following various events that left my family torn apart. A deep emptiness and sadness led me to get involved with the wrong company, and negative influences took a toll on my mental state, outlook of life and daily decisions to the point that I lost all sense of direction.

Accepting an invite to the youth meetings held at the HelpCentre was the beginning of a total life transformation, fast forwarding to a few years on, and life is incomparable!

My experience at the HelpCentre was unique, the environment was and continues to be warming, the flexible timetable of prayer meetings and one to one sessions provided the support I needed to get my life back on track. I am thankful that the doors continue to be open so that many more like me can continue to be reached.

Attending the UCKG HelpCentre has helped me to have my life back again.
I came to the church because my life was falling apart. I was suffering with depression, negative thoughts and unemployed. For me, that was the end of my life, there was no way out. Some one from the church was Evangelising and gave a leaflet to a relative of mine and my relative called me and she said I have something for you she said go there and see. I kept the leaflet in my pillow for 3 days then on Sunday I went on my own.
When I entered the church I felt a peace, the same Sunday night until today I no longer suffer with negative thoughts or nightmares. Pastors and the volunteers gave me advice, on how to change my life. I obeyed and put in practice what I learned.

Today adversity come but I know how to use my faith. I use the tools to keep fighting, persevere and be an overcomer. In the past I would cry for any problems, I was very emotional. Today God has transformed my life, I am very strong and courageous.
I thank God for The UCKG for all the help that I’ve received . Without the UCKG I wouldn’t have the strength.
To anyone that is going through any problems I highly recommend attending the church. Come, listen, obey, and put into practice what you’re learning and your life will never be the same again.

I gave this 5 star for the help and support they gave when I first attended their service until which is over 10yrs. I was struggling emotional and financial as overstayed in the UK when first arrive in 2000 and then head to the street because I couldn't work so started selling drugs, smoking, drinking and having multiple partners to head the broken person I was. One day a colleague tell me how I can get help to talk to someone who won't be judgemental, I was skeptical but do go and the advice and prayer help to make the right decisions in life, leave crime and now happily married, recently I have the joy to be visiting and helping those in prison to have a positive outlook and change of life. Happy the day I was introduced to the UCKGHELP centre.

Attending the UCKG HelpCentre has helped me in every single area of my life, I received so much guidance and care from people who didn’t know me and wanted to help. 8 years down the line thanks to the UCKG HelpCentre and the help of all those people I am a strong person who now likes to help other vulnerable people.

I came to Uckg HelpCentre end 2005 because my life was a disaster. My first impression was the amazing welcoming to the assistants, always happy to help listening to your issues very patient and great guidance!!
Since, my life has been a blessing still have challenges but they are not stopping my peace. In this place i found my answers to any issues in life.

I came to the UCKG HELP CENTRE more than 15 years ago. This place has transformed my life, coming to the helpcentre, my life was in a dark and empty place, lost with no hope but coming to the UCKG, I found peace and also managed to turn my life around to the point where I am so happy.

I will be forever grateful for the UCKG church and the volunteers that God used to help me change my life.

I came to the uckg I had so many bad thoughts about this place and I heard many rumours from other giving “fake news”
So when I came and actually saw something different I saw it was all lies, I came to the uckg with a lot of curiosity and bad eyes towards everyone.

After attending I was received in a good manner and what caught my attention was the way I was approached! The assistants were wonderful and helped me and made me feel comfortable and in a safe place to speak to them,
So since then I started attending more regularly.
My life has completely changed and I have seen so much improvement and I would definitely recommend you to come and try it out!
Don’t hear any “FAKE NEWS” and come to see for yourself.

Our experience, when we came to the UCKG help centre It was a unique experience, where our life changed completely . We have learnt a lot about ourselves, we overcome fear, emotions and our love life has been restored. Now we volunteer in helping the CBC which is looking after the children, while the parents attend the service. We also assist in groups such as, Rod group, The Food Bank and much more.
Today we happily serve.
The UCKG Help Centre is the best place to be, and we do not regret it.
We face many adversity in life
Without the UCKG we would not have strength to carry on.
