I admire the UCKG because it's unique. The unique aspect about the UCKG is that the church is open every day of the week beyond working hours with multiple services a day to attend to the needs of members of the public. To ensure this is possible, the pastors have dedicated their lives towards serving people throughout the week without exception (Inc. Christmas day and Bank holidays). The church is often referred to as a spiritual hospital whose aim is to transform the lives of people who are suffering and desperate. My family are beneficiaries of this.

I have been attending the UCKG Helpcentre since 1995, I was brought by my parents who were going through a lot during that time. However, since attending the church in Brixton back in 1995 up until now, they have seen their lives completely transform and volunteer their time to give other people the same opportunity for a transformation.

I have also benefitted from the UCKG and have attended branches in Brixton, Peckham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Stratford, Woolwich and the headquarters in Finsbury Park. Throughout my experiences, I have witnessed the generosity, care and selflessness of the volunteers and pastors there. There's a genuine desire to help people out of their situation and a belief that anyone can have a better life if they apply the Bible and use their faith in God.

I was previously an addict, experienced night terrors, sleep paralysis and had some issues with mental health which took me on a downward spiral. From the day I started attending the UCKG, my entire life changed and I experienced peace from within.

This is a truly remarkable church and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

There two bishops in their branch in Brazil in 2001 murdered a fourteen year old teen named Lucas terra after he spotted the two bishops were caught engaging in sexual activity. The church itself spent millions to make sure the case was suppressed but thankfully after twenty two years the mother Marion terra along with her lawyers managed to achieve a public trial forcing the two bishops to stand trial, and today (well last month I think) the two bishops were sentenced to thirty years behind bars, the leader multi billionaire edir macedo stated beforehand he believes and will defend the innocence of his bishops. I was in this cult for thirteen years and whilst there are down to earth decent people (who end up leaving ironically), I have personally experienced gaslighting, mental abuse, indirect death threats, and now after coming out two years ago and studying about cults, they use methods such ; love bombing, us vs them culture, isolation from family and cut off all former mates (a member groomed me by advising me not to tell my family I was attending) information control (they forbid members from reading articles or scandals concerning them) behaviour modification & phobia indoctrination (they tell members no one is forced to stay but if you leave terrible things will happen) just to name a few, also I have experienced indirect death threats, stalking and harassment and during my time there and after leaving I also had to change my number three times and completely shut down my social media accounts and had to create new ones and also change work locations. During my time there I have witnessed young people with mental health issues and learning indifferences suffer mental abuse, I have witnessed members manhandled and even a child manhandled once in 2012 I was even once in a meeting in their headquarters in Finsbury Park in 2015 where they showed on their projector screen an illegal downloaded (criminal offence by the way) a terrorist slicing through a man’s throat with the bishop stating who’s willing to die for the church like this and there children underage forced to watch leaving them extremely traumatised and when the church opened again in July 2020 after lockdown I witnessed many pastors, leaders, and members brake Covid rules and social distancing restrictions without a care as well. Since leaving and discovering and supporting surviving uckg lead by the brilliant Rachael reign other survivors have been succumbed to harassment, stalking and death threats as well as physical violence as well which you can see as evidence on surviving universal uk via instagram, twitter, facebook and TikTok. This cult church made over £13million pounds last year, but yet their members pay for all their charity outreach events and local businesses around the uk chip in as well and none of their own funds is used , I should know because when I was apart of their youth group I was the one many times buying food for the young people living in poverty and never once saw them receiving any help, a lot of their groups are front and I as well as fellow survivors (well over comers) were told when we was their to deny were a church when outreaching in public especially collecting donations door to door by telling we are a help centre (craftily dodging the truth) and even their prison group tells members when they go to prisons not to mention they are a church to inmates and families , I should know because I was part of them and was told this, and last of all I recall on a few occasions where parents didn’t want their teenagers to go to this place, the pastors in charge of the youth group printed out articles telling young people to disobey their parents or come but keep it a secret (child grooming). Overall many Bishops, pastors, assistants and leaders are narcissists, sadist and sociopaths and have been only able to get away with these atrocities for so many years because they control all cameras and media behind closed doors and are able to destroy evidence before they are inspected as it has happened in the past but with advance in technology and social media more and more people are finally speaking out and showing evidence across the world, recently morissons (if I’m correct) have banned them from fundraising) and recently a mother (I believe from south London) shared with campaigne and activist Afua rose via YouTube how her daughter was cohesively stalked and a pastor was spotted lingering around a college campus forcing head tutors to call police and security. I advise any safeguarding services and charity commissions as well as the metropolitan police to investigate this organisation and most importantly to hear from survivors if they wish and feel comfortable to do so, apologies for the long paragraph I hope this review helps.

I did a research about this place and I am shocked because it's not positive at all.
One month ago I got an invitation from one of their members on my way to work
I never heard about this church if I did I wouldn't have taken that pamphlet.
When I got to work I showed one of my closest coworkers the pamphlet and said maybe it's a place we can go.
Immediately she saw the pamphlet she said: did you not see the videos about this citern church going viral?! It's going viral. I said no
I got curious and said send the videos to me because I will into it.
I am in shock because if I came here earlier and read these reviews
I would definitely go
But I am glad I did a research first and I sincerely advice you do the same before thinking to attend!!

It's origin is from Brazil
They have been charged for several abuse cases( spiritual, emotional, financial, sexual, and financial abuse's) from all around the world over a decade.They have ceased to be accountable for their actions.
They use the name of God to get away with their actions
Last but not least it has lots of traits that can divine it to be a cult!!
Churches should stop using the name of God to abuse and take advantage of people.

This is my honest review.

This "Church" is a Cult! Stay away! They are corrupt and money-hungry and prey on the vulnerable. They manipulate followers out of money and convince some members to leave their lives behind, including their families to become slaves to the church. Working all hours of the day and night for free whilst collecting welfare from the government which they then need to donate to the church.

Growing up with many internal issues and conflicts here I found help and support to overcome everything that for years weighed me down.

Never have I been to a place that has shown me as much care as the Universal Church. I am eternally grateful.

My life was problematic prior to attending the UCKG HELPCENTRE. I was badly depressed suffering constant headache and anxiety for 10 years. I had low self esteem, broken love life and suffered loneliness. There were time I feel suicidal.
I started attending the UCKG HELPCENTRE and received advice and help. Gradually my life takes a new turn . I felt peace coming back which encourages me to continue going there .Today I'm free from depression, happy and have a lovely family. I definitely recommend this HELPCENTRE to other .

The UCKG is a place where I made a new beginning. I’m valued as an individual, not judged but put into the right direction in life. From the moment I entered the doors of the UCKG I was fed with positivity through the word of God and Faith. All this lead me to have peace, happiness and eternal joy.

I found the true God in this CHURCH. I strongly ask any person from any walk of life to give it a chance and will never regret it.

This place is like a little heaven for me, I was helped to overcome depression, nightmares, suicidal thoughts, I have been taught how to love myself and others. The pastors and helpers (assistants) are really caring and kind, willing to take time to help those who are suffering and need, and that what I received.
I have been taught how to pray, read the word of God intelligently and use my faith intelligently when I come to church and when am away. Due to this my life has transformed and now am a new person, full of joy and happiness, no more depression and all other suffering.
Am grateful to be here and highly recommending.

Having had a terrible experience in almost every area of my life, and yet believing that I'm a Christian, A friend of mine who did not know what I was going through Invited me to this place, and my health got better and better by the day I started learning and understanding myself better. I'm free from all the negativity around me, free from panic attacks, Sleepless nights, and Lack of Confidence, and I even Graduated with Second class Honours, First Division in Business Management. The UCKG help Centre has helped me be more focused in life.

UCKG Help Centre is a place I have been for a while and I cannot emphasise the benefit of visiting the Help Centre enough. I experienced a lot of life changing transformations. If any one is having any form of addiction, depression, panic attaches, ill health, love life and marriage or family problems, this is the place to come. There is also a 24 hour helpline which one can use to speak to a helper. Indeed how can one struggle when help is only a call away

This place has transformed my life. I came to the UCKG HelpCentre 25 years ago, broken, depressed and suicidal; a single parent on government benefits and unable to support myself.
The help and support I received here was key to getting myself back on my feet. I now have a very good job as a qualified accountant, am no longer depressed or suicidal and I love my life!!!!
Here's to the next 25 years!!!

The greatest gift for a second chance at life since discovering this church.
I was lost and deeply troubled psychologically and the help and support I received from the church helped me to see that life was worth living. I learnt how to use my faith to overcome my fears. I continued to grow stronger as I continue to manifest my faith and today am a blessed with a transformed life and a happy family. The teachings and values I learnt has made a better woman and maturing as I continue to invest in the teachings and recommendations.

The UCKG is my second home.
When I arrived at the UCKG I was lost and couldn’t sleep at night. As a result, I suffered from constant migraines which was further fuelled by my broken marriage. Today I have inner peace, joy, and I no longer suffer from constant migraines. My life has changed entirely through the guidance and the help that I received from the amazing men and women of God who cared for me when they didn’t even know me and they never judged me. In this place I found God and I learnt how to use my faith and was able to start a new life. The best thing about the UCKG, is that people from different backgrounds come together for the same reason – to find a solution to their problems, through the use of faith and it’s been a wonderful thing to experience.
You can invite your friends, regardless of what nationality and current religion they are and surely they will enjoy …

Coming to the UCKG HelpCentre was the best decision I made. As a young person I struggled a lot internally, although I was able to mask it for a while it was something that really weighed on me. I was greeted with much love and to my surprise a big hug, from people who didn’t know me at all, they gave me time and effort and a solution to the internal pain I was dealing with. I’m really grateful for all the care and support I’ve been given over the years.

WOW! I wish I knew this place earlier because it has everything you need. For me, the main thing are the services of the church, whether you need help in your financial life, your health, your family or even with your own mental health, this place has it.

I have received a major amount of help here, I used to be so lost in life, but now I am happier than ever and want others to also check it out!

To finish I urge you to come as whatever help you need you can find here, even with getting food, through the soup kitchens and food banks. There are also many branches all around the UK so it’s very easily accessible with great smily people who always give a warm welcome.

This organisation is corrupt. It is a cult and should be shut down or at least decrease its funding. They get their assistants to write reviews under pressure so they can get people's money. The brazil born portuguese leader is a billionaire so don't need funding worldwide.

1) They coerce people into giving them their savings, lots of cash for campaign of Israel and others.

2) Their pastors are corrupt and are allowed to get away we misdemeanors even when reported.

3) They use salt, bands, plastic gimmicks etc as amulets, charms to pray over. That's not biblical but the craft does that. We are only to pray by faith not to include objects to pray, that's witchcraft.

They should hold their pastors etc to account when they have bad behaviour etc.

If you are looking for a place to start a new beginning then look no further than the UCKG Helpcenter. At this place you are given the right directions regarding all aspects of your life as well as practical advice and tips. Especially regarding true peace and happiness which I found when I started as a young teenager. As a teenager I had no self belief or confidence, got involved with the wrong crowd, I was addicted and had absolutely no prospect for my future. However since attending the UCKG Helpcenter, I have seen a complete turn around. I highly recommend the UCKG Helpcenter to anyone who is looking to start afresh.

Today I want to talk about what UCKG did for me when I arrived. I was totally lost, in need of help, I didn't know what to do, but I got to know about UCKG, because people spoke very well about it and I decided to also start attending. I started attending meetings,practicing what I was taught and so my life changed with time. It was not easy, however, I persevered. And today my life is totally changed and I am so thankful to the UCKG that supported me a lot in the beginning and because of that my life is totally new.

I knew nothing about the UCKG HelpCentre but formed the opinion that it was a cult. I tried to get help from numerous people and places in the UK as well as abroad but my life kept getting worse as the years went by, by which time I was bombarded with familicide – kill my sons then commit suicide, depression, alcoholism, insomnia, spiritual attacks, explosive anger issues and DVT.

My son and his girlfriend used to invite me to the UCKG but I always made excuses then, one Tuesday evening, I went with them to service. On my way home, something was different and the only word that perfectly described the difference was PEACE. I received peace and that night I slept throughout for the first time in fourteen years without waking up.

I continued to attend the services and the Pastor and volunteers prayed for me. I was lovingly given advice of how to use my faith with the God-given power inside of me, which I didn’t know existed, to overcome the problems I had, in conjunction with receiving practical advice. I was grateful that the UCKG was open every day, all day long and, eight months later I was free from all the problems I had arrived with at the church. I still thank God every day for the arrival of UCKG in Brixton.

UCKG was the last door for me, where I found Jesus, and my life was transformed.

The UCKG HelpCentre does amazing work in the community. I was first introduced to the HelpCentre back in 2006 at the Brixton branch. I have personally and genuinely received great care and support over the years that today I am happy to be part of the team in our Southall branch, doing the same for others through our community initiatives and projects in the UK. I would recommend anyone and everyone to visit one of our UCKG HelpCentre branches.
