Updated: Customer Service followed up!

Was using Udrive before but recently their customer services have been lacking. Had booked before wherein the car is not in the listed location (I understand that there are GPS problems in the UAE lately because of the war) which I told them not anyone's fault and my last booking with them, I had to go to an unfamiliar area and with the GPS losing signal often, I eclipsed the daily limit for the mileage and was asking for a little leniency since it wasn't that much yet they will just give you a cold shoulder and say you should have planned for it. Anyways, will probably not book again.

Update:
Just discussed the problem with their customer relation team Rupesh and has since settled most of the complaints above. They acknowledged what was happening and has provided a more than adequate response. Promised him to only give an extra star (from 2 star rating) but for the prompt and sensible solution which he has done I'll give an extra star.

Have given them 5 stars before previously but recently customer service has slipped, yet they are trying to work it out with their customer base. All in all 4 star should be enough for now and I understand that they're trying to make the experience better for everyone.

Thanks Rupesh and your team for settling this misconception. Will definitely book again in the future.

Constant Stalling, Falsified Records, and Disappearing Emails – Do Not Trust!

Udrive Abu Dhabi is holding my money and giving me the runaround. They owe me AED 182 for a car that wasn't at the location and for unauthorized charges.
The Timeline of Deception:
1. Missing Car: Charged AED 167 for a car that didn't exist.
2. The Refund Lie: They told me the refund was "immediate" in the app. I tested this by locking/unlocking a second car—they took AED 10 from my bank. I then booked the car for the day—they took AED 177 from my bank. They lied about the credit being there.
3. Falsified App Records: They have now changed my app history to show AED 0 for that second trip to hide the error, but my bank statement proves the AED 10 was deducted.
4. Incompetent Support: I called today and the agent tried to claim there was "no email" from me. Only after I forced her to check the Case Number did she admit the email existed. Now they claim it is "Urgent," but they have been saying this for days with ZERO ACTION.
5. Verbal Abuse: Agent Abdelhalim Mohamed Mansour mocked my profession and hung up on me. Management (Abdelkader) apologized via email for the behavior but still hasn't returned my money.

While using a Udrive car on the


While using a Udrive car on the highway, a stone unexpectedly hit the windshield and caused minor damage. I responsibly reported the incident and provided pictures.
However, Udrive asked me to obtain a police report (AED 420) and later charged me AED 1,500 for the windshield, even though this incident was not caused by negligence.
As a regular customer who uses Udrive every few days, I expected better customer support and understanding. Unfortunately, this experience was unfair and disappointing

A Very unprofessional company

A Very unprofessional company! A blunt violator of personal data security! Your provided credit card is kept on their file (despite your instructions not to save it) and charged months after the end of your rental; based on their false claims. A violator of The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is imposed internationally and the UAE is a member of! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional and dishonest company! Udrive brings Shame to the great nation of the UAE!

This was my most bad car rental


This was my most bad car rental experience from U Drive. I take the car, and inside it was full dirty. When I return back, they make me pay for charges that are not right and no one tell me before. I wait 45 minutes at counter just to fight about fees. Customer service man was very rude and not professional. I think they cheat me and take my money. They don't respect customer time or my money. I tell all people to not use U Drive. I will never rent car from them again.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever.

The car condition was so bad and dirty, i have never seen anything dirtier. Too bad I cannot send pictures here but it was so bad, i had a bad allergic reaction from all the dust!

I would not trust them again.

Quite bad

The sistem is nice, but I can’t understand how they had the very bad idea for customers to be able to reserve a car for just 15 min. Today I had to make around 6 reservations to manage to arrive at a car, because the car that I needed was 40 min away from me. Also, the first 2 locations were wrong, I arrived there and there was no car, I found the car at the 3rd location after 2h of searching and 300 dirhams spent on Uber.

They should refund me the first 2 tips were was no car available

Udrive is a Scum

U drive is so far the worst Car rental Company .
Why would a company like Udrive not insure its Cars even for the minor accidents and instead expect their clients to pay insurance on their behalf.
First a total of 437 aed was reduced on my account instead of 137 aed
So since Sunday , Udrive has been cutting money from my bank card and last night not only cut money but they over charged me extra of 2600 AED from my bank card claiming it’s for insurance to repair the Car since their cars don’t have insurance.
Who does that ?
I am writing my review to create awareness if there is any one that was planning to rent a car via U drive , please be careful as I speak I have lost 3068.2aed over a 12 hours trip that cost 137 Aed.

This is so heartbreaking.

The car could not found

The car could not found, location map keeps taking one round in the multi-level parking, every 15minutes one lose the reservation, no way to talk to someone... after 45minutes of looking for the car and attempting to keep reservation, the account was blocked stating too many cancellations. Need major improvement for customer service.

Customer support hang up the call while I was talking

What in the world is this customer service, I had an issue with an extra 350AED charged and when I called the customer service he just said it was valid and when I said it was not showing on the app that the 3 days trip were 3 trips of 1 day with 150km only for each without kms carry over, but it was showing as a 1 trip with a daily amount of 150kms which means 450km for the 3 days, the Rude Non-educated customer service representative just hanged up the phone and when I called again it was him again and when he heard my voice he hanged up again without saying anything

JUST BOOK A TAXI!!!

This support staff told me I should ignore the amount that the app was showing yesterday after I paid 144 AED. I had till next day for the end of the daily rent, went to a very short ride and got charged 70 AED plus the initial 144 AED.

Be aware of the maximum 100 km per day, it really doesn't worth this app...

The app doesn’t work properly

The app doesn’t work properly, so you can’t even initiate/finish a ride on it, it just keeps running. Nobody from customer service ever replies to your emails ever, it’s like my emails fell into a black hole. The phone line is even worse. Just delete the app and use Ekar.
