I was matched with my beautiful boy and was supported all the way through from initial phone interview, home check and coordinator through to foster home where I met him with my other dog. This rescue offers lifetime rescue back up as well as lots of help and guidance and matches you with their dogs to try and ensure the best possible outcome for all. When the time is right I will ask them to match me with another dog.

Adopted from UK-GSR and have a perfect dog for our family. Couldn’t fault the whole experience.

I have had 3 wonderful rescue dogs from UKGSR, very caring and thorough when matching prospective adopters to one of their rescues, always helpful when advice is needed, even after rescue. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I've been lucky enough to rescue 3 GSDs from UKGSR. I contacted them and a couple of others a few years ago, in the hopes of adopting a GSD and they were the first that were able to offer me a homecheck. I had a fab rehomer assigned to me and, although it took a few months, she was able to match me with the most perfect dog for our family.

Wanted to rescue a pup. Registered with them. They said they wanted to visit. Once in the house told us they were not Covid vaccinated. Looked around. They left. Never heard from them again. Tried to contact them again twice. Nothing. Do not trust this company. Only given one star as no stars isn’t an option.
